  1. At least no one here is speculating...... ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Well said. Too many in the gun culture are quick to complain about their rights being trampled, all while oblivious to their disrespect of other rights with which they disagree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. And....pointing a gun at someone for speaking to you is....in no way.....holding him responsible for doing "stupid stuff". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Getting real for a second.......choosing to go out in public, then pulling a gun on any stranger that gets 10 feet from you and dares to speak is.....simply frightening to me as a citizen. Continuing to point that gun at him and others deserves jail time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Remember, if we want others to respect our rights, then we need to respect theirs, too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Of course. I think stories like this are important to share when caliber wars go the direction they always go..... No pistol round is magic. No caliber will "knock a guy off his feet". "One shot stops" are a myth of the uninformed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Honestly, I can't imagine living my life only associating with those that share my political views. I know a lot of people choose to live this way, but I just can't imagine.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. http://www.policeone.com/police-heroes/articles/6199620-Why-one-cop-carries-145-rounds-of-ammo-on-the-job/ Found it.....actually 14 times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. When comparing two handguns rounds that are so close in size, the difference in mass between the two really doesn't matter. Don't look to shooting stories to judge a round. For every round, there are stories of failures and "one shot stops". I could link a story of a BG getting shot 13 times before he stopped attacking a cop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. For a bourbon that you're going to mix with sugar, just about any will do. I wouldn't buy a $50+ bottle like Blantons to mix like that. Look for a lower end rye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not as rare as some make them out to be. They fetch a slight premium over normal models. And....most people HATED them when they came out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes....with a 9mm..... Mass?.....matters in shooting steel. Surface area? Only matters on the leading edge. Neither 9 or 40 is markedly better in actual critical performance (and "surface area" isn't that). When comparing the two, David's list is the reason that most private trainers, and now the FBI are all transitioning back to 9 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Owned my last .40 in 2000...... Nothing but 9 and 45 now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Shot placement, CNS hits, blood loss. Nothing more or less..... .02 of an inch won't make any real difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Blantons is the best... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
