I'm curious too. I bought a commander size Rock G.I. last September. I replaced the smooth , fat grips with some inexpensive Houge slim rubber and the G.I sights because I couldn't see them. ( They are tiny) I've put 500 rounds through it without any type of failure. There is no need to replace parts on a RIA if it works. Unless you just wanna spend $$$ :shrug:

My mags are only empty if I have run out of ammo.

Tula 7.62 is the only thing I can seem to count on my Walmart having consistently. $5 and change per box. Need to make a habit of dropping $20 a week on it.

I'll chime in on the ignorance and hate part of Duce's statement.  Posts #'s 93, 98, and 138 Fill that bill as far as I'm concerned. If these were attempts at humor they were done in poor taste. I thought this was a gun forum. This topic has had more posts in the last two days than any gun related topic. Is this how we really want the world to view TGO ? Live, let live and stop the bickering amongst each other. Agree to disagree, stop trying to beat each other into submission to your view. This is the kind of division that is tearing our country apart.

I like the idea of the first shot being a longer pull double action if I should have to grab it after being awakened suddenly by my first line of defense, a 55 lb Shepperd / Akita mix. No light needed because I keep a light on in the front room all night. Keeps me from tripping over my first line of defense on the occasional 2:00 am trips to the bathroom and can't hurt as a burglar deterrent.

No, there is not, especially here in Memphis. I have to drive about 100 miles a week on the interstate here and I stand by what I said. Courteous drivers are few and far between here. My point is that I fear for my safety more when I'm behind the wheel of my work truck than I do any other time.

This thread has affirmed what I concluded years ago, that the majority of drivers on the road are selfish and could care less about anyone else. Why don't people realize that the biggest risk to thier lives every day is during thier driving to and from work or as in my  and many other cases driving daily here and there in the commission of my job ? Lack of courtesy and respect for the other drivers on the road will get you killed faster than the thug you may come across that we all carry our guns for.  Just saying.

My take is that term limits are not the answer.  Making your livelihood being a career politician is the problem. Cut all the salaries by 75% or more and let's see what happens. The founders wanted common folk to serve because they wanted to, not to get rich in government.

I think that was because they were not read thier rights before being questioned. But I could be wrong. Dave confirmed this before I hit the submit button.
