  1. Gun genie is way too expensive. I can get the CZ from Buds for less including TICS/transfer.
  2. I've been by 3 of the Memphis gun shops this week. The only Bersas I've seen are the .380's. I fondled a CZ P07 this afternoon and now I'm re-thinking about my choice. It's not much more money at Bud's.
  3. Be nice now ya'll.
  4. http://www.bersa.com/bersa-thunder-Pro-UC-9-mat   I like a SA/ DA as a carry gun. Bersa owners please chime in.
  5. Bud's has sold 1000's of them. I'd like to get my hands on one just to check it out. I have a feeling it's probably on par with a Rock Island and I own one of them. I love it.
  6. Looks like it's a fail amongst us gun owners. I thought it would be. Woe to those that spent the money on this. They aren't gonna get a return on thier investment.
  7. A fingerprint reading trigger lock. I'm not gonna run out and get one but I like the idea IF it works. I don't have children anymore and none really ever come to my house but maybe this could be a good thing, My father never kept a handgun in the house when I grew up, just a few rifles bur the ammo was kept separate.  I would sometimes handle them when my parents were not home. Kids can get into anything they want to. I know. I did it.   http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2014/05/06/biometric-gun-lock-has-fingerprint-scanner/?intcmp=features
  8. I doubt it's that simple. Getting a new job ain't all that easy right now. Getting a new job that I'm skilled at (plumbing) that would offer me comparable pay and benefits is quite hard to do for me.
  9. Yep. That age was 50 for me. :ugh:
  10. I too had to start wearing glasses after 50 years. Tried the traditional bifocal and didn't like them. I had trouble reading computer screens. The progressives do take some getting used to. Look down when descending a staircase or stepping off a curb. Like Randall said I have to turn my head because peripheral vision aint what it used to be. Be aware of that while you drive.
  11. I have the same one as the OP.  I love it. Accurate and reliable.
  12. Not bad for $38.50. Price on the Gold Bullets was $11.27 That's .05 per round. I was never a fan of the old GB's and I'm hoping they really are "New and improved. My local WM has removed the 3 box limit on everything but .22. The girl behind the counter tells me the hoarders and re-sellers are becoming less.
  13. 94 user was because I hunted deer with a Winchester 94 way back long ago. I use it it on a few forums.  My avatar is my favorite dog. His name is Fritz.
  14. I changed the stop to a double outlet and I recall it being a pain to find the fittings to hook it up. It was a few years ago. The double stop was 3/8 and 1/4.
  15. I installed a kitchen faucet sprayer in the water line of a toilet for an Indian man once.  I believe he was a doctor.
  16. 70
  17. I only have my 20 so I guess when  I get another 12 it'll be a Mossberg
  18. Wow. The only 870 I have is the one my Dad bought when I was a teen. It's a 20 Wingmaster 2 3/4. I can't recall it ever having a problem. Now there are youtube vids to show how to fix a common extraction problem makes me sad.
  19. Me too, with .22 my wife didn't find in my pocket.
  20. I wanted to share this.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uzbruyrCRE
  21. I already have a PX4. I've been wanting a 92 ever since I shot one of Mac's but I was determined to get a 1911 first. 1911 has been acquired so this is motivating me to get the 92 as soon as possible. I want to check out the compact but I've not seen one locally.
  22. Sorry to hear. Prayers will be sent.
  23. My company is currently working on a new apartment complex in Collierville.  The General contractor wants a framing inspection on the 2nd of the 5 buildings there by this Friday. For that to happen the plumbers, HVAC and the electricians have to have thier inspections first. I'm one of the plumbers. It's a 3 story building that has 20 apartments, 26 bathrooms. All of the 2nd and 3rd floor drain piping has to be filled with water to be tested for leaks. With the current forecast. I don't  see that happening.
  24. Then a new faucet, disposer , and dishwasher is required. ;)
  25. I beg to differ. At least in the Memphis area. The plumbing company I work for used to do installations for Lowes here until the cut back on the pay. They keep too big a chunk of what the customer pays for installations. most of thier employees don't know squat.
