  1. After looking that phrase up I could not agree more. Post hoc ergo propter hoc - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  2. Sorry I don't understand what you're saying.
  3. I am new to the whole AR 15 rifle thing but I am enjoying mine and learning more everyday. My question for today is: using iron sights (no optics) and from the standing position at 25 yards what kind of accuarcy do you get. Say 3 shots as quick as practical. I just want some sort of standard that a rookie (me) should shoot for (pun intended). Thanks.
  4. I found this video and wanted to share it. JPFO - "No Guns for Negroes"
  5. Your Avatar would make a great bumper sticker!
  6. Way to go Angus!
  7. So what you guys are saying is....buy cheap get cheap? I will man up and buy better stuff from now on.

    I'll take two!
  9. I have an issue with my new Ruger SR556. Here is the scenario: When the 30 round magazine (MagPul Pmag) is loaded to capacity (or 1 or two less than) the first round fired will not eject. The only way I have found to clear the rifle is to remove the upper and use a cleaning rod and tap it out with a hammer. The lip of the case does show where the ejector tried to pull it out. I bought some cheap Russian ammo (Tula .223 Rem ) and that might be the cause however I am confused that it only happens with a full mag. After I use this ammo up I will stick with brass. Any input would be appreciated

    Where to go?

    Seriously?
  15. Make 'em and I would buy one or two!
  16. I got an answer from them here is what they told me... Thank you for your interest in Trijicon products. I do apologize as I am still replying to inquiries from last Saturday 10/31. You will want to consider RX14 or RX23 equipped Reflex sights for your application. Please contact us if you need further assistance.
  17. Thanks for the heads up but why would I (or anyone else) want to fax a copy of my drivers license to them? See this AIMSurplus, your home for surplus ammunition, guns and firearms.
  18. I was the owner of the G19 with the cracked "trigger mechanism housing with ejector". I have placed an order for the part and am hopeful I can change it by myself. If I can't I'll have to put all the pieces in a shoe box for Todd or Dustin to do for me...and they'll probably make me wear my electric blue pants. Thanks Todd and Dustin for a great evening! You guys rock.
  19. I don't doubt you...if you look here Trijicon, Inc. : Brilliant Aiming Solutions how would I guy like me (ignorant) know that?
  20. That is a great idea. I sent them an email. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the quick answer. The last paragraph said: "...it means that accessories designed for a Weaver system will, in most cases, fit on a “Picatinny†system." Most cases but looking at the Trijicon web page it says the sight can come with the Weaver mount. If it does not specifically say Picatinny does that mean it is not compatible?
  22. Here is my boneheaded question of the day: If a sight says it has a Weaver mount will it be compatible with a Picatinny rail? I was looking at this Trijicon, Inc. : Brilliant Aiming Solutions .
