Keltec p32 for when you want a gun but don't want to feel the gun at all. 9oz loaded with 8 rounds. That said I carry my g43 all the time.

You should be happy with the shield its a great gun. I owned a shield and sold it for a g42 when they came out that I then traded on a G43. Liked the shield but love the g43.

I may have to BRAVE a movie theater for this one. Lol

After a while you will be so used to carrying it will be like your cell phone never leave home without it. I myself do not go anywhere a no guns allowed are posted unless I just have no choice like the post office.

I use a g&g Bootlock holster from optic planet fits perfectly and laces to your boot.

I pocket carry my 43 with a mic trigger guard holster. But most the time it's on my ankle and a g19 on my side.

I had a shield and now have a g43 and very happy with it. I liked the shield but I bought mine when all you could get was the version with the safety and I hate safety on a carry gun.

My advise for a first time carrier along with all the other great advice is to go out and buy yourself a 1000 rounds of ammo and during a week or two shoot all of it. After you have done that you're much more familiar and comfortable with your firearm.

Lol I know and work around alot of felons that's true. Goes with my occupation. I might be a little jaded in my old age. I'm pretty sure most felons would not come to a party that I would have.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot. Say you are having the party. Your friends invite some of their friends that you do not know. Do you want those strangers in YOUR home with guns? They may be wanted felons for all you know. May not even be licensed. And add in drinking?

Leave home if your drinking. Other then that it's up to you and the home owner your visiting. Your girlfriend can do a quick text and ask her friend. I'm a firm believer in your home is your castle and its whatever the king of said castle says.

I use On Target in Murfreesboro they charge $25 + $10 background. Sounds about the same as others in the area.
