  1. I run 00 buck in my Mossberg 935 for home defense.
  2. Stopped in G&L last night to browse and got to fondle a STG556 (class act place as usual). I've never owned a bullpup type carbine before and was pleasantly suprised at the ease of use and balance of this firearm. I will probably look at getting the E4 model, which accepts AR mags and will most likely get the railed version to mount an Aimpoint or Eotech instead of the factory optic. I am wondering the impressions of those who own one or have shot with one.

    Fal builders?

I was wondering if there are any recommended FAL builders in the mid-Tennessee area. I have an Imbel kit and am cobbling together a receiver and the compliance parts as we speak, but I do not really have the time or tools to build one myself. Thanks in advance.
  4. +1 for CHMR. It seems like real laid back place and you can't beat the hospitality or the price.

    First Deer Gun

I have a Remington Model 600 in 6mm Remington that seems to be perfect of a smaller statured person or child. It is fairly light and compact, plus the 6mm has a very mild recoil. I have seen a few used ones on occasion on dealers racks.
  6. Great idea, very cool. Top notch range with top notch folks:up:
  7. First gun I learned on was my fathers JC Higgins (Sears Roebuck) 12 gauge bolt action. The long gun I shoot the most is my Colt 6450 because the indoor ranges are the most convenient because of my work schedule. The gun everyone should own is a Mossberg 500 or a Rem 870. They are as American as apple pie.
  8. My choice as well. Quite a few features for the money. I like the Mossy 500 and Remington 870 as well. You can't go wrong with those proven designs.
  9. I believe Chuck Norris is the answer to the above question.
  10. I'm looking for an engagement ring in the near future and was wondering if anyone knew of any jewelers in the area that you trust and do buisness with. I know nothing about diamonds and settings, so I don't want to be hosed. I would also prefer to stay away from the big chains and give someone local buisness. Thanks in advance for any leads.
  11. Great tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I think we will return when the leaves start to change in the fall. I'm sure it will be beautiful.
  12. I was looking foward to going, but I found out that I will have to work that day:down: Sorry for the thread drift, but what are Viola's days open and hours? I still would like to go shoot there sometime with the girlfriend and introduce her to the EBRs.

    ARs in 5.7 x 28?

Kind of a silly question, but since it ejects down the magwell, could a modified AR mag be used as a brasscatcher?
  14. That would be great! I would be there cash in hand.
  15. No complaints with Lawman ammo here, great ammo. I can't help but think if it is just Blazer Brass with a fancy name.
  16. I use quite a bit of Blazer Brass 9mm through a P2000 and a Colt 6450. It has never failed to go bang for me.
  17. Polish AKM or a Polytech spiker would be my vote.
  18. Oops! Read the OP wrong! Sorry
  19. If the MAK is made into pistol grip configuration, you will need to comply with 922r compliance. The 16 countable parts of an AK rifle. No more than 10 of these parts may be imported. (1) Receiver (2) Barrel (3) Trunnion (4) Muzzle attachments(flash hiders, brakes, barrel extensions, barrel nuts) (5) Bolt (6) Bolt carrier (7) Gas piston (8) Trigger (9) Hammer (10) Disconnecter (11) Buttstock (12) Pistol grip (13) Forearm handguards (14) Magazine body (15) Follower (16) Floorplate If your yours has no muzzle brake, you will need 5 US made parts to stay legal.
  20. I have never used their 9mm, but I have some of their 10mm and it is loaded pretty hot.
  21. There is also an assault rifle webcam:p http://www.assaultweaponwatch.com/
  22. I got an email from Copes Distributing. They have 500 rounds of loose DAG .308 for $250. I believe it isn't on the site. You may have to call.
  23. Yuengling Black and Tan for me tonight
  24. I have bought things from them in the past with no issues, but after the post election price gouging, no more buisness from me.
  25. I shoot it through a DSA FAL and a PTR91 with no problems to speak of. I just wish more was available at a decent price.
