Mike and MikePapa1, It appears you are starting to become regular additions to the MCTS range. I hope we are providing interesting and fulfilling match formats for all guests to the range. Each of you should consider helping the club and joining the membership. We will be having some announcements this weekend that affect membership and some offers with the MCTS logo branding that will only be offered to the members. TN roadrunner is only good to be at the range if the AC is on......LOL

It will not be too bad. One of the SO's and others in the group will watch over you and give pointers. We welcome all safe shooters. There are less rules on procedures in this type of match however we will ALWAYS be safe first. I love this trend of the avatar. More people will catch on.........LOL

This weekend at Gallatin Gun club, I am putting on an IDPA safety officer class. The cost is $10.00(5.00 for the material and the other 5.00, I am putting it back to Gallatin for letting me use it). We will start at 8:30 AM and will last until about 2 PM for class and range time(please bring gear and at least 50 rounds). Please bring snacks and drinks. I will be at the range at 7 AM to help with the 3 gun setup and will be at the gate at 8:15 AM to let everyone in taking the class. Hope to see you there!

Not everyone respect the firearm as they should and their will be consequences sooner than later. Gallatin has not been taking new members for over 4 years that I know of(and maybe longer). They have approx 800 plus members and have been trying to weed it down to 600 or less. A lot of the members do not come out to shoot every often. Shooting with MCTS and NTPS is surely the closest for you and both have experienced safety officers. It is our goal and should be everyone's goal to come back in tact after a day of shooting.

I am working the state match on the 23rd.

This match that Gallatin Gun is hosting under Robert's direction will be a GREAT tool to become more familiar with all types of your weapons in a fun, exciting format. Let's show him our support and make every effort in being there. I will be there at 7 AM helping with setup if anyone wants to assist.

one stage killed me. The sights will be adjusted before morning......I dare you to mess with the dark side again. Do not worry about Master Barnes teaching you anymore.....you can only learn CDP from Master Simms. Barnes is not the one to fear, he has a weakness that will cause him to turn to the dark side as well. The lightening strike from my Sith fingers will subdue him also! We will see at the TN State where I will be running a stage.......the Anti-Christ of the world of Kemp Evans will overcome you!

Don, You will be happy to know that Kemp (aka "Mommy") was beaten by a pig ball on every stage except one. He blows nothing but hot wind when he speaks!

Technically it will be UC. However, we can get that changed to an appropriate level to reflect your shooting ability. No worries. Glad to see you coming!

*****Attention: All current, expired, and potential members of MCTS****** This Saturday during shooters' meeting announcements, the Executive Committee will announce a member only(in good standings) giveaway. Details will be sent to the members via email that could not attend. We will post information on our website next week after the match. For all of those expired members that have not renewed their membership, you are missing out. We will be limiting the size of our club membership each year (due to insurance regulations) so if you enjoy shooting and wish to help the club grow, it will be on a first come basis until the membership is filled. If this is successful as we anticipate, we will have this opportunity each year. Hope to see you at the range this weekend!
