  2. Nice Rick. Just looked and the stages are challenging.
  3. It will be a variation of the morning match with some half size targets included. 556/7.62x39 targets must be hit twice and 308 and above require one hit. It will be time plus scoring. edit: unless the MD of the match says otherwise. I have no idea.
  4. We will also have a rifle only match after the IDPA event.
  5. Fully loaded up to 140mm for the pistol. 30rd mags for rifle. All shotguns 8+1. The only divisions are Pistol, Rifle/Pistol and Shotgun/Pistol. KISS method this go around. If it is popular to continue we will modify our stance and run an affiliated sport. As many as you need.
  6. Yes on 45acp unless you would like to shoot targets twice with the rifle if you are using 9mm.
  7. 74 steel targets, 40 cardboard Round Count: Shotgun – 74 max Pistol – 154 max (if used on all targets) Rifle – 80 max (40 if shooting in Heavy Metal Division) Pistol/Rifle: Cardboard gets 2 rounds each, anywhere on target to neutralize (exception: if shooting heavy metal rifle 308 caliber or higher, only one round required anywhere on target).

  9. IDPA at Nashville Armory is on the 2nd/4th Tuesdays. 1st/3rd Tuesday at Nashville will be Rifle/carbine, Run n Gun or person vs person competitions. Our website has all the matches for January on the schedule.

Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting a Multi-Gun or pistol only match this weekend on Saturday 1/30 and on 1/31 Sunday at our outdoor facilities in Dickson (across the road from 990 Coon Creek Road, Dickson, TN). Pistol, pistol/rifle or pistol/shotgun divisions to choose from. Setup begins at 7am, shooters meeting at 8:45, rounds downrange at 9:00am. We will have 5 challenging stages. We offer a safe and fun atmosphere and welcome new shooters. Come out and bring your friends. Our monthly steel matches are a great opportunity to hone your skills and improve your shooting accuracy.   11. MCTS Indoors will be hosting our weekly IDPA match Tuesday 01/26/16 at Nashville Armory, 5 Star indoor shooting range. Setup begins at 5pm, shooters meeting at 5:45, rounds downrange at 6:00pm. The MD has prepared 5 challenging stages (or 9pm) regardless on turnout. We offer a safe and fun atmosphere and welcome new shooters. Come out and bring your friends. Our weekly matches are a great opportunity to hone your skills and improve your shooting accuracy. Any and all safe shooters and serviceable weapons are welcomed. Bring the pistol caliber carbines/race guns for NFC division. This will be CDP Challenge series #4 match.

  13. Spoke to the MD today and we are shooting tomorrow. Ready to shoot the match in the morning. I will be at the range in the morning at 7am.
  14. Todd has confirmed the road conditions in Dickson. King has postponed Saturday's match to Sunday when better weather is available.
  15. We have not called off the match. Several people are still going out in the morning. I will know something early in the morning about back road conditions in Dickson. If there are any changes to the match, please check here, our FB page or our website in the morning.

  17. King has stages set for the match. As of now, it is 113 rounds minimum. Alterations to the stages may be made on the day of the match based on conditions.
  18. Stages are set and are challenging. 99 min rounds needed for all the stages.
  19. At least you won't enter the double barrel shotgun division.
  20. That would be awesome to see. I will have my CZ 3gun shotgun and my FN if you want to try them after the 1st stage.

  23. It went great.  We had 19 brand new or inexperienced shooters and 8 experienced.

We may take a stage out and do a man vs man or 2 person team vs team side match.
