  1. Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting a Steel Match this Saturday. Stages will be posted with the hour after minor adjustments. The match will consist of 4 stages(approx 50 rounds minimum). After the match there will be a Man vs Man Steel competition(until we have a winner so bring plenty of ammo). The cost for the side match will be $10.00 and half of the winnings will go back to the winner. Depending on how many people are competiting, we will either have single elimination or best 2 out of three eliminations. We hope to see you there!
  2. I say let him go to the stores.......I get a lot of free stuff when he is done. HK45 USP, Glock 17, and Glock 21 SF is his current platform. Don, When are you going to get better after the surgery?
  3. Music City Tactical Shooters is another option for your son's competition needs. Here is our latest thread about this upcoming Saturday's match. Many people from Clarksville come to the match in Dickson. Another place would be Gallatin Gun Club.
  4. MCTS will be hosting a 7 Stage IDPA match this Saturday in Dickson, TN. Setup will be at 7 AM and new shooter orientation at 8:45 AM. Rounds downrange at 9AM. NEXT MATCH: IDPA Match December 4th, 2010 88 Rounds Minimum Pistol Click Here for Stage descriptions Hope to see you there for an exciting day of shooting.
  5. LOL.....I am glad everyone is having fun on the thread. It is nice to see that we are not a stuffy or a stand offish group. The only time we need to be serious is at the shooting line. Chip, That posting was unbelievable. I received calls and emails about it with people laughing. Chandler, The video was great. Thanks for putting MCTS in the credits. Thank you for the GREAT stage design because people loved it and hopefully they will be back. I will be sporting a new shirt at the next match and hopefully some new jeans. I will take the ribbing then. Everyone needs a turn.
  6. Good spirits everyone. Keep cracking on everyone. Show them the love! Each one of the participates should be thankful for the good graces of the official IDPA "Bicycle" team that showed up and shot with us. You can see them at the Tour de France this next year. Revision: I would like to thank Chandler's brother(sole mate) for taping my holy pants yesterday and not treating me like a TSA subject. I am glad I did not have to say "Touch my junk and I will have you arrested".
  7. The steak dinner was for Wanda if she shot the stage with nothing but headshots clean. She did shoot head shots (in 41 seconds) but was standing flat footed to do it. Since Robert (aka no show) gave away all of the deer he shot today away, she seemed hungry and was withering away as we spoke. I can not let that happen! Feed the hungry!!!!!
  8. Shotgun stage: 19 seconds - 1st run 10.11 seconds - 2nd run 8.34 seconds - 3rd run It was a great day for the club with stage design, turn out with 47 shooters, and efficiency of the match. Wished we had more members that could have made it out to the range. Matt was lucky he did not show up so no spanking on the shotgun stage.
  9. It does not matter what gun you get refinished, quit dropping a perfectly good weapon. Here we go with the M&P, you still shoot like TY.
  10. Looks like there will be some new faces and old friends showing up this weekend. Hope everyone has a great time at the match designed by Chandler.
  11. It is a pistol match and shotgun side match you sissy!. You can be the fastest on the plate rack at 3.23 with one bullet and can not hit any of the plates with many bullets. Go figure.....
  12. Others we also missing theirs. Orgainized and speedy certain companies are not. I called them last Monday after Matt informed me that he did not receive his. They are on the list that needs to be sent out. Same discussion from them when trying to get SOI material. I will hound them again today.
  13. MCTS will be hosting an 5 to 7 Stage IDPA match November 20th, 2010 with a Shotgun side match. Setup will be at 7 AM and new shooter orientation at 8:45. Rounds downrange at 9AM. Hope to see you at the range! NEXT MATCH: IDPA Match November 20th, 2010 120 Rounds Minimum Pistol 20 Rounds Minimum Shot Click Here for Stage descriptions
  14. Not during the start of deer season! We were expecting 50 to 60 shooters for the match.
  15. Thank you for SOing today.
  16. The 50/50 winners are as following(contact President@mctsclub.com for your winnings): Pistol (11 entries): Kemp Evans - 3.23 (Kemp donated his winnings to the club) Notable mentions: Matt Tipton - 3.41 Pump Shotgun (7 entries): Zach Hall - 3.18 Notable mentions: Mike McDonald - 3.59 Semi Auto Shotgun (9 entries): Matt Tipton - 2.11 Notable mentions: Mike Cunningham - 2.40 I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the match with Muzzleloader season today. The stages were a great design by Matt Tipton. Scores should be posted soon. Please take note to the website this week with new range rule changes(180 degree and "dropped" loaded/unloaded weapon).
  17. SOs will be Kemp Evans, Greg Bell, Chandler LaFrain, Matt Tipton, and Robert Standley(Chip Prece). I will be floating around. Last squad finishes the SO has to wear a dress!
  18. I have one of these and it is a great weapon with long distance capability.
  19. Setup has been completed (except staple targets). The stages are worth the weather even if it is snowing a blizzard. Matt has done a terrific job in stage designs. I would like to thank the following people that did setup today: Chip, Robert F. (I know, I know, I was shocked also), Norma (my house keeper), Matt and Kenneth Tipton (especially Kenneth because Robert was sleeping and would not answer the phone). SOs for the match will need to be there at 7:30 for stage walk thru and safety briefing. This will be a GREAT match. 50/50 plate rack has a surprise for Jack Brown.
  20. Magazine holders. I will bring extra parts for both double and single stack weapons, extra pump shotgun. The ammo requirements are on www.mctsclub.com. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at President@mctsclub.com. Rifle shots will mainly be up close but can have targets out to 100 yrds.
  21. When I get done with the dirt work survey, pictures of your ugly mug, videos of all of the skirts(Greg/Matt, I like the plaid ones), and the plate rack 50/50 I may play the match. Sorry but work has to be done. When it is all done, SUPER HOG will be there!
  22. Glenn, I see you on the thread.....no smack talk out of you until you get out of the high lady division!
  23. Wondering how long it was going to take you to realize the thread.
  24. Just because you beat on Robert and fake military last weekend and got a big head does not mean that you can run with the BIG DAWGS. When you shoot the commie gun, you will notice the difference. When it rains, the commie gun still runs and the AR jams. I predict VICTORY!!!!!!!!!
  25. We will see about shooting. There will be dirt work survey that will need to take place, pictures, videos, and 50/50 match to be ran. I love when the commie guns beat all of them ARs. I foresee 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall if all of us shoot! Mike wear the same halloween costume as the others last weekend so I can have a laugh.
