We do like multiple types of shooting. The match should be great! Of course I mean based on course design not because I will be there splitting my pants and having to put duct tape on them.

Yes 3 gun is the in thing at the moment. A lot of interest not enough shooters yesterday.......all them sissies sitting at home trying to stay dry.

I have no skills with the rifle the first stage I shot proved that. I just looked at the scores. Even with a re-run Mike still got you on the woods walk. I am going to Gallatin and shame myself again next week.

Don is getting memory lapses in his age. The pistol and shotgun are not the weakness(Don that was a challenge and I will take advantage of the torn ACL. I do not discriminate). Making jokes about my rifles skill are not funny......I should be allowed to have a shoulder to cry on because it is sad. With the training Don has offered to me on the rifle I think one day I may be able to beat a blind man(maybe).

The looks by the wife will continue.....be prepared. Start off slow and get what you think you need over time thus not causing you to sleep on the couch or outside.

It is not raining here now. I will be at the range regardless of the weather planning on shooting and shame my rifle skills once again. I have to meet a possible food vendor for our GSSF match on May 21st and 22nd. The only way we do not shoot is the flood (back on May 1st. Was on the range that day but no one showed up) or lightening. We will shoot until the range becomes unsafe for competitors. Hope to see you there!

Even with potential bad weather(and I can not say I totally believe weather men or women) I am looking forward in redeeming myself with the rifle. Now if only I can get everyone to believe the Glock 34 is a short carbine.

Sorry to hear about the bad taste on rules of IDPA. You are still welcome to come to the Music City Cup - IDPA Sanctioned match in November. Based on our last conversation about the match; Yes I will still weigh your questionable gun to see if it meets weight limits.

I agree that a 21 may not be the best choice for ESP but it is still an option. Tad Glad I could get you confused!!!!!

It can be overwhelming in the beginning. Try it with what you have first and then you will see what you really need.

Glock 21 or M&P 45 -- Reason in IDPA you can shoot either one of these guns in SSP/ESP/CDP division. One gun fits them all(except the revolver class). But if you want to get technical the best gun for competition is the one you shoot the best!

It is nice to hear we come from similiar backgrounds concerning family. There is a reason that I do not attempt the wheel gun......I am not master level in the ones I have. That is biting off more than one should unless you are Baldock.

Allan You still need to speak about the GSSF match? Call me before 12 PM as I am on the way to Griffin GA for a GSSF match. BTW If I did not like Glenn I just would not speak to him. I truly think him as one of the family.

I suck at the rifle skills there is no doubt about it. It's not funny but sad on my part. I am ok with the ribbing. It makes it fun to be light hearted. I can teach anyone rifle skills if the targets is under 20 ft.
