  3. Good match with many new faces. Hope to see everyone back for the next match!
  4. Going to be a GREAT day for shooting!!!!!
  5. Great movie!!! Beautiful women with guns.........great foreplay.
  6. Received my NEW FREE gun certificate in the mail today......LOL. Great upgrade prices for other models. If you want to help with being a safety officer at the match or run the warm up stage, please email President@mctsclub.com as soon as possiblle so that I may work on the duty assignments before the April 15th.
  7. Interesting comment above. Don't know how to take this comment if I did not know you better(which I don't) as insulting. As ALL shooting organizations are a business which has to have a stable profitable income for targets, pasters, sticks, staples, paint, timers, clays, steel, port-johns, renters fee, etc.......they are also do it for the love of the sport. Executive committee members at MCTS are volunteers, whom work at night and heavily on the weekends for everyone to have a good time at the range(MEMBERS and non-members). We have the receipts from expenses that we personally do for the club that is not reimbursed to prove that we do it for the love. As we try to put on more than just pistol matches, we must have to consider all types of matches that is in the best interest of the club. The shotgun match will be moved to another weekend as a side match. As always, our side matches are FREE to all those that refrain from unnecessary complaining. Side note: Instead of complaining about something, you could submit your application for membership approval to MCTS help make changes when next year's elections come around OR show up for more than 2 matches this year..............
  8. The initial thought/reaction (which I love shotgun and did not want to see it be moved) was that shotgun match would only yield about half of the participants that the RUN & GUN match would bring. As we are preparing for significiant work on the range and with our upcoming sanctioned matches....GSSF and Music City Cup, MCTS needs to bring as many people out to offset the cost of the new material needing to be purchased for the best matches in the area to continue, range work(including but not limited to bay flooring to eliminate the muddy bays and parking area), and operating expenses. The schedule is still being tweaked based on maximum participation and the shotgun match will be available soon. The shotgun match will be probably be coming up as an extended side match.
  9. Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting a 7 Stage IDPA Match this Saturday. Matt Tipton will be the Match Director for this event. The courses of fire are challenging! We will need all of the help possible for setup. Setup starts at 7 AM. We hope to see you there for a GREAT match!!!!! NEXT MATCH: IDPA - April 02, 2011 79 Rounds Minimum Pistol Click Here for Stage descriptions
  10. Come to think of it......why do you not shoot your duty weapon? A 40 S&W G22 to powerful for you?
  11. I just found out that my horrible shooting performance in the GSSF match in Griffin, GA resulted in a NIB Glock pistol being awarded by a random drawing! For all those that are looking for a possible free firearm or money, the GSSF match is the way to go! Sorry Greg, Matt, and Chip....LOL
  12. Welcome to the forum!
  13. I tried finding the "fishing" vest but no one turned it in. I still have a comp-tac holster missing! Luckily I got my keys back from Mike a few months back.
  14. I have it!!!! I was supposed to be on vacation with the kids spring break but been working at night on some computer issues. So I was trying to stay away from the computer at home. I was going to leave the box back at the range empty with a thank you note attached.....LOL. They are sitting in the garage safe and sound.
  15. I have been away from the computer for a while and this is funny!
  16. I would love to be there but have the IDPA SO class at Henry County that day.
  17. We will strive for excellence in making the matches better each time as we want to push everyone's shooting ability. Just wait for the upcoming steel match that I am designing. With the combination of my personal steel and club's current and future purchases, it will be AWESOME(no MIZ from WWE pun intended). We are glad you and others enjoyed the day. It was good having everyone there.
  18. Thank you for the compliments about the match. The real props go to Matt and Chandler for the stage designs. It was a GREAT day of shooting with the weather and the 50 plus shooters. With the continued participation and support of the shooters, we will be closer and closer to get some range work/bay flooring completed with the additions of new equipment for everyone to enjoy during the upcoming matches. Membership is still open for those who want to take the next step in supporting MCTS to make our continued growth come quicker and to help offset your shooting expenses with our growing club sponsor benefits. More details and vendors are forthcoming soon. Thank you everyone for coming to the match and hope to see you soon(those that want to shoot more RUN&GUN from across the hollow)!!!!
  19. I will be at the range around 7:30. I have to stop by work and steal some color prints of the MCTS / GSSF match in May.
  20. No worries. I am more than happy to help.
  21. As many as you can carry for this match. Magazines can be dropped with ammo still in it at any time. IDPA is limited to 2. Hope to see you there!

Was this the match you went to? MCTS Intro Competitive Shooting TGO Meet and Greet That match was a small taste of what we do on regular matches. These can seem intimidating at first. The only way to eliminate that fear and get better is to keep practicing and coming out.
  23. I still have two spots left in the class. PM me if interested.
  24. I am truly sorry for the loss of a loved one. We will ALL rejoice with our loved ones one day.
