  1. One of your stages did not get recorded with your time appropriately(stage 3 Bay 4). Who was your SO/Scorekeeper? I have posted the revised scores to the website.
  2. This was a match of accuracy not competition. Headshots is something we all need to work on. Shooting strong hand is also another trait that we lack. Hope everyone had fun.
  3. Thank you for the kind words. This was a BIG turnout and we were a little overwhelmed by the Zombie cult followers. This was a learning experience to see what will work and where we need to improve(for any future Zombie matches that may be scheduled). We welcome all suggestion via email. Here is the match results. http://www.mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2011/Zombies_09032011.pdf
  4. Best Zombie movie of the year!!!!!
  5. it is fun every once in a while to have a match competition without rules. it was a little cold today and thus I had to put on my jacket. it was a good time meeting everyone. come back soon!
  6. It was our pleasure. It was fantastic to see 80 plus shooters on the range on a holiday weekend. I know it was a long day. I just got home from the match with leaving the range at 4PM.
  7. Pistol will be acceptable otherwise all long guns require chamber check flag at all times. Edit: The course description has everyone holstered. I haven't seen a holster for a rifle in a while........LOL
  8. you know brad is not gonna show up he's scared of the zombies
  9. You, possibly Tim and Christian.......all you need is Brad and his sidekick(Andy only if he brings the chaps)!
  10. There is hope!
  11. GSG holds 22 rounds each.....lol. Never said anything about pistol caliber carbines were or were not allowed. No one caught this however since I did not add it to the course description, I will be shooting a Glock 9mm (maybe some 33rds magazines may make it on the range that day).
  12. I want to be the 1st and only What's the Point? competitor that way I can win that division.
  13. Say 27 Glocks?
  14. Nope. I am not scared to run with a small or what's the point? division.
  15. I will take care of the weapon! 45 ACP Springfield 1911.
  16. Shooting steel targets at that close of a distance, the 223 bullets will go thru them. Centerfire calibers will not be used for this match. Steel targets range from 60.00 each to as high as 240.00 each.
  17. Hope you enjoy it as much as we anticipate it. Water and snacks are a plus. TP was funny but we have it at the range in the port-a-johns.
  18. Great day of shooting Zombies on Saturday! The high will be 97 degrees.
  19. Why not go to a range and pick up brass? We allow brass pickup to all competitors at our matches. We just had a 3 gun event and alot of people shot 223.
  20. Only as a decoy!
  21. I have been thinking it over this afternoon when someone asked about calibers lower than 9mm. I think it is crazy however MCTS is here to serve the customers' needs in their shooting experience. With that being said, I have added another division to the mix. I really do not know how many of them will be present but we do not want to leave anyone out. Large - 45ACP/10mm and above(where are all of the DE .50 whimps) Small - 9mm/40 S&W/38 What's the Point? - Anything below 9mm(Really you need to hide behind someone with a 45ACP when the Zombies attack!!!) All Steel must fall! Any steel that does not fall will be considered FTN. Website has been updated with changes that I neglected to change earlier in the thread.
  22. 1. We all usually finish up at the same time. 2. Prize for local non-sanctioned events is cleaning up the shooting bays. You can have 1st place if desired.
  23. Well, I noticed you put firearms before cars. Yes, it has been close to a year since being on the range. For all that think that I am going to protect them from the Zombies, be forewarned! I do not need ammo nor guns so leave the poodle poppers at home. If you are carrying food/water and plenty of it, I will not treat you like a Zombie nor my 1st decoy.
