  1. Why limit your options to just one? Both sports have pros and cons but equally beneficial to achieve range time needed by everyone. Try each one of the with what you have and see which one best suits your style.
  2. There are no compensators in IDPA(or ported barrels). The 34/35 are SSP guns. Add a magwell on them (or any other external modification) and it makes them ESP.
  3. glock 34 and 35 are not compensated. The slide is cut on the top. Glock 34/35 are either SSP or ESP. XD 5.25 9mm or 40 s&w is automatically in ESP without question according to the rules however if you shoot the XD 5.25 in 45 ACP then it can be shot in ESP or CDP.
  4. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/44418-music-city-tactical-shooters-idpa-classifier-02162012/page__pid__710756#entry710756 the date should be 02/18/2012 instead of 02/16/2012. Thank you
  5. Here is your opportunity to classify in CDP(1911 style 45 ACP), SSP(Stock Service), ESP(Enhanced Service), SSR(Stock Service Revolver), and ESR(Enhanced Service Revolver) in one day! 90 round minimum round count unless you have a mental or equipment malfunction, you are allowed to reshoot a stage of your choice in its entirety once(then you will need 120 for each entry). You must be an IDPA member(www.idpa.com) to receive a valid classification to shoot sanctioned match however you do not have to be a member of IDPA to shoot the match. This match simulates every part of a normal match(movement forward, backwards, cover, and kneeling) in the area. Safety officers that are members receive work hours or match entries regardless how many classifications shot. Members are $10.00 per entry and non-members are $20.00 per entry. We will run 4 setups to get everyone moving and classified needed. Please help support Music City Tactical Shooters in making area shooting facilities better with equipment and range improvements by coming to the range! Website has been updated: NEXT MATCH: IDPA Classifier - Febuary 18, 2012 90 rounds min pistol Click Here for Stage Descriptions Click Here for Stage Setup Registration starts at 8:30 AM. 6. you are correct. if you hit it low it doesn't move no matter what caliber you use. A .22 will take it down at the top or the center
  7. stick a what you have the g 26 is a fine conceal carry weapon.
  8. thank you for the kind words I am glad you enjoyed your trip even though it's really early this morning
  9. glad you enjoyed yourself at the match. how much did john pay you to say that?
  10. Power Floor comes into play when there is a chronograph usually at a sanctioned match(as some people of the Music City Cup I found out). Local matches, I have NEVER seen someone chronograph. This is a non competitive event to get people to the range to see if competitive shooting is right for them. WWB has never been a problem or factory round for that matter. Do not worry about this for tomorrow.
  11. You do realize I have seen you shoot, correct?
  12. I will be bringing electric razors I don't trust you or anybody else with razors.
  13. Typically at local matches there are no prizes given away. Most club shooters enjoy helping newer shooters gain confidence with their firearm enough. I will be happy to give away any prize donations you may want to provide to the staff that make all this happen.
  14. That is funny. You have shot with us enough to know safety is our most important goal. We do like to have fun at each others expense.
  15. If you trip while kicking him in the balls, then that could earn you some $$$$$ and some seconds off your score. Just something to think about, just saying........
  16. We will shoot in all weather: Snow, rain, hail, sleet, sunshine, cold, or heat. We do not shoot with active lightning or tornado. Flooding(May 2010) we were on the range but left quickly.
  17. I woke up this morning with pink eye. I am sorry to miss this event.
  18. There is not a need for someone to need a mag pouch during the match.
  19. Paying at the match is fine. Suppressors will not be allowed for ANY IDPA style match.
  20. That is an early drive from Chattanooga to Dickson! Glad to have you at the range.
  21. It comes out once(exposed) and then disappears with a non threat target. The speed is adjustable.
  22. I will bring a spare hair trimmer with me. I know some of you Executive Committee members are shady and will leave me with a monk style cut or shave it completely except the back if we reach 90 individuals competing. Better update all of my pictures before the 4th.
