For those that help run the match, they will be entered into a drawing for a free Glock pistol possibly two at no charge. Please email me at President@mctsclub.com for more details. Glock will be providing things for the range officers themselves. All training about the match will be given at the range. No special certifications required but helpful. You must be a GSSF member to participate in the match but not for the drawing. Glock will draw names for money, extended membership, guns, and other prizes within the month based on performance and at random.

Questions on which pistol and shotgun for 3 gun
HOGNUT replied to a topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
Since you are in Memphis, look up MSSA's schedule. -
Music City Tactical Shooters in conjunction with Glock will be hosting the 2nd Annual GSSF Match - Music City Shootout II on May 19th and 20th 2012. Registration can be done at the match or online. Great type of match for kids, individuals with disabilities, the new shooters, and experienced shooters. This is a match of accuracy more than speed. What better way to win money, prizes, and Glocks than a GSSF? Prizes are based on performance and random drawing. Think of it.....you could tank the match and still win a gun. Dickson, Tennessee Music City Tactical Shooters Music City Shootout II view map >> register now >> Amazing most of the 198 entries were out of the state of TN. Let's show our TN pride and show the outsiders how we do it in TN.

Are you coming to work the shotgun match or shoot it? Tell Jack when you see him that he still owes entry fee for the Music City Cup (since he did not work it and shot the match). -

Thank you for the kind words. We take pride in our matches and shooting our local events will prepare anyone for sanctioned events. We are always looking for active and safe members to help our effort. Without it, any club will become stale! -
We have many people from Clarksville that attend. People from KY and AL come to the matches. Good luck with Rattlesnake Ridge. I have been there once. I have shot many other clubs local events. I think you will be sadden if you want to be a better shooter by not giving MCTS an opportunity.

Answered your own question. Use what you can shoot better with! In IDPA you will see a lot of people use G34, none of them carry this gun(I do know of one person that does carry a G34). It is a game, treat it like that. Very rarely do people shoot what they carry(sorry to lump all IDPA shooters because there are those that do shoot what they carry). Have fun but most important, be safe!

Keeping the Rift Raft off at the range is easy. Troubled individuals can be banned from the range at our discretion. The landowner has no issues with this and gives us that authorization. -

Just for this match the price increased due to higher operating expenses. It was decided to use a lot of clays instead of steel targets for this match. All other local matches will.be normal price of $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non members. You missed a good classifier today. -

Just woken up by the programming staff. It appears the webex I am doing with a vendor to migrate data from one computer system to another killed our nightly processing job just little over an hour after I fell asleep. She apparently continued to work and thought it was OK to kill jobs that she saw fit without calling. I hate some vendors and rush jobs in switching out systems. I will still be on the range to register all competitors. After registration, may go back home and sleep depending on SOs available. Now I am watching the job to completed(even though there is a messaging system for errors). -

He is one of the fastest(not most accurate) you will ever see. He took a year off from shooting, bought a new weapon without firing it, came to a match with it being extremely cold, and beat everyone at his first match back. These people shoot almost every weekend or multiple times a weekend and are good shooters. Some of them, I consider great shooters. Drink the Kool-Aid, since you work with him, talk to the GM and get him sponsored. -

Last shotgun stage the open guy shot, the magazine feed open gun couldn't hit poppers 10 yrds or less away with optics. Went to multiple magazines. Everyone felt bad and wanted him to go to his open pistol with 25 rounds(plus 4 mags). -

Yes!!! No one is scared of Barnes. He is getting to the point in his life where he will rely on the HOVER AROUND. I seriously thought that he would have been asleep by now. He ate dinner/supper at 2:30 this afternoon where he used his senior citizen discount at Shoney's......... -

Barnes, I guess if you want to win anything, pick up CDP this year. Kemp got rid of all of the 45s so now you have a chance! -
