  1. Email me when we can speak about the match with your contact info jumprun13k.
  2. Please email me the scores when they are ready.
  3. Chip and I will be there. We will not be there early enough for setup but will help with squads if needed. We will stay for tear down.
  4. NEXT MATCH: IDPA (6 Stages) - April 7, 2012 Round Count: 104 pistol rounds minimum Click Here for Stage Descriptions Registration starts at 8:30 AM. New shooters meeting 8:45 AM. Start shooting 9:00 AM.
  5. Looking forward to seeing more people at the event this year.
  6. Update on the GSSF match - Music City Shootout II. I truly hope there will be more soldiers/individuals attending that find it hard to shoot at conditions normally found at ranges. It is an honor to have any soldier attend the match. Sir, First, I would like to thank you for the service you provide ensuring our freedom. Second, I will personally see to any accommodations you need to shoot the match. You will have me as your personal valet during your stay for the GSSF match. J. Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2012 22:44:46 -0600 Sir, My apologies for not answering sooner. Our range is not what I would generally consider to be wheelchair accessible it has natural loose surfaces and some steep hilly terrain. I've copied our club president Michael Bresson who is in charge of our GSSF match to see if he has any additional thoughts. Best Regards MatchDirector of Music City Tactical Shooters -----Original Message----- From: Not putting his name on this email S.A Mr CIV USA IMCOM Sent: Saturday, March 03, 2012 8:08 PM To: MatchDirector@mctsclub.com Subject: Wheelchair accessible? Good Evening, I recently joined GSSF and plan on shooting the GSSF match at your facility in May. However, I am paraplegic and am confined to a wheelchair. I was wondering if your range is wheelchair accessible. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  7. I called out MC Footer, Bill and Curt about parking in the members only area. Bill and Curt wanted to shoot the match and moved their SUV. John F. told me that you did the exact same thing to Arlo who was helping at a match. I had previously tried to get a hold of Jack but could not. So yes, I called out Jack(whos last name was left blank for a reason) whom shot the MC Cup and did not pay for it. That was 6 months ago. So I am a bad person for trying to get money that the club was deserved. So what!
  8. You are correct. If you were the SO on the squad, you should not have paid. Ryan did not mentioned that you did that. I am sorry for your comments listed above. That is your choice. I wish you also the best of luck.
  9. I believe it is reasonable to be able to read signs posted at the range. It was the big 3ft x 4 ft sign that a child could read. Members are allowed to park at the top of the range not guests. You were asked to move as well as others before the match and did not. Then acting like a "diva" asking if you were going to be ticketed, is not professional. As I told you, your participation as well as others is at your discretion as long as range rules are followed. All those that followed directions properly did get to shoot and were scored appropriately. Your conscious actions in not following range officials warranted what took place. No complimentary match fee will be given and No refund will be given as you did shoot the match(unless you want to replace the club's tape, paint, and clays shot). I have your scores and was going to handle this with you personally. Since you decided to make this public, I guess you will never know if you won or not. If this is the professionalism that you are going to take, I guess you decided your own future at the range. Every shooter's fate on the range depends on themselves and how they conduct themselves.
  10. All of the scoresheets Glenn received has been scored.
  11. It is that time of the year again. I will be hosting an IDPA Safety Officer class at the Gallatin Gun Club rifle clubhouse on April 14th, 2012. It will start at 8 AM sharp with range work beginning around 1 PM. This is a full day of class work, test, and range work. All potential safety officers will be required to participate in the Gallatin Gun Club monthly match so that I can evaluate how you handle competitors. This class is open to all IDPA members. I can take up to 20 students. This is a first come first serve basis. To reserve your spot with details on cost: Please email me at President@mctsclub.com. Items to bring: Range gear(eye and ear protection), weapon, holster, magazines, magazine holders, approx 100 rounds of ammo, water, snacks, etc. .
  12. No idea. We shall find out tomorrow.
  13. That makes two confirmed non members via email earlier this morning and one possible and another confirmed non members wanting to help run this match this evening. Looks good starting out with help to push more people than last year. Hopes to have the biggest number of entries in TN GSSF this year.
  14. Working the match automatically puts you in the drawing for Glocks given away to the ROs working. You will not be able to shoot the match unless you are a GSSF member. When was the last time Springfield Armory or Smith & Wesson put on a match promoting their weapons......hint, does not exist.
  15. Competition or depending if it is stock, Unlimited
  16. For those that are worried about match fees, I can always work out a deal for members and non-members to work on the range with setup/tear down for a bartering option. Let me know if you are interested as we could ALWAYS use the extra help.
  17. I make a fool of myself EVERY TIME I shoot a GSSF.
  18. Saving is GOOD.
  19. You can still use some sub compacts(26/27), heavy metal(30/36 in 45ACP) or even open Glock for the other divisions.
  20. You can do everything you need the day of the match. It will nice to have you at the range. Consider staying overnight with some buddies so you can shoot 5 different entries in two days or do 5 entries in one day
  21. For those that do not have a Glock(and I can not understand why not), I have some to loan out at the event as long as factory ammunition is being used.
