  1. I will be there at 7AM to help setup.  Looking forward to it.
  2. There will be steel and cardboard.  I suggest some slugs for the cardboard.   There will be one stage(Bay 5) where you will have 2 steel targets(with a NT involved) at a pretty good distance away that can be shot with slugs.
  3. The CoF will be available for either a pistol or shotgun or both(with separate entries).  Almost finished with the match notes and CoF.

  7. On 04/20/2013, Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting a shotgun / pistol match.  We have been kicking around the idea for a 2 gun(shotgun/pistol) shotgun only or pistol only divisions so that everyone can participate.  I will make this available ASAP.  Stages are being formulated at the moment with round count and type of ammo needed.      We will also run an IDPA classifier for those wanting to be officially classified for the Southern Regional on May 25th.  We will take a maximum of the the first 15 open slots.  Reserve your spot at President@mctsclub.com.      Important Items: 1. You must be an IDPA member to get or change a classification. 2. Bring your IDPA membership so that scores can be uploaded to the IDPA website.  3. Only IDPA acceptable equipment may be used including guns, magazines, holsters, and mag holders. 4. Please bring as many magazines as possible. Three minimum, four better, five or more makes everyone's day go so much better. 5. Concealment is not required, but may be worn if you desire. 6. Round count is 90, but bring extra in case of malfunctions.     We hope to see you there!

  9. The scores were done early last night.  The delay was on my part, not John's.  You called about Codi being delayed and 2 minutes afterwards, I fell asleep.  I have to go watch Warm Bodies movie today with the family.
  10. Scores are posted:  http://www.mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2013/Zombie%20scoring%20April%202013.pdf   I apologize for the delay, I was extremely tired during and after the match.    John was a terrific job with the club devoting his time to these matches.  Without the help of all of the members and regular shooters alike, matches like this or any matches for that matter could not take place.  We do our best to provide a safe environment first and foremost.  Fun day of shooting comes second.      Many thanks goes out to our membership in coming in to the matches early and staying late cleaning up.  It is a TRUE blessing to be a part of a great family!
  11.   Your kids will be so sad for you.  Where are you thinking of moving to?
  12. Catch up? I was plan on working on strong hand or weak hand only shooting.......better yet I will bring a pink prom dress for you when you lose.
  13. especially the redesign in Bay 7 ..........lol
  14.   I have been telling John to tone that down....LOL
  15. We do.  Eye and ear protection is required.    I promise, it is not as fun watching as participating.
  16. BTW, a cross bow may be thrown in a stage to be used.   Watching the Walking Dead marathon for the last few days.

  18.   Costly in ammo and buying new steel targets.  If we did not use steel targets at the distance we are using for this match( should be about 100-125 yards away), we would allow rifles to be used.  Might be a little hard for a pistol to be accurately shot by some at that distance, but would be fun to see how many people that hit the target.
  19. Sure you can shoot the shadow or any other handgun(except the 5.7 x 28 / 50 DE may be a stretch due to steel targets).  IDPA matches is IDPA rules, all other matches have different outlaw type specs.
  20. John,   Get with Chip as soon as you can.  He mentioned something about zombie masks he bought last year.  I am thinking he wants to see them on the targets for the Zombie match.
  21. Scores are posted to the website and facebook:  http://www.mctsclub.com/Match%20Results/2013/March_Steel_Match2013.pdf
