Great thanks goes to Dale Spikes for making the match setup happen.  He has most of the match completed except with the heavy lifting with plate racks.  Setup with plate racks and staple targets will begin at 7AM.  I will be reviewing the stages and target placement before hand.   Thank you Dale!

Most local clubs in TN allow picking up brass after the local match is over not during the match.  The reason for this is that the people running the match do not have the time to work shooters through, reset stages for the next shooter, and pick up brass.  Normally, when all of the stuff is put away is the best time to get brass because you can see where it all is.

As long as he carries himself in a good manner, I will work the magic with the sponsors.  Hope we can get it done all the way around for this young man.  So far the conversations are positive.

It will be based on skill level set.  Each team should consist of a Good, medium and/or inexperienced shooter on each team.  Are you sure she wants you on her team?

Next type of big steel match (sorta like the Red, White, Blue match) will be a 2(or 3) person team event.

The Red Bull ladies will be there passing out free product to everyone.  Good thing it will be nice and sunny them days.

  They did take some but took little suggestions.  They changed words from required to recommended, changed awards process, categories, etc.  I was on the Match Admin portion (one of the last groups meeting).  We finished up the week before Christmas 2012.

  That works but the answer will be to "Suck it up, Sally"

  That will cause your AC to quit fixing your weapons and force you to actually spend money on a gunsmith or knowledge learning about your weapons......I loved putting your sights on backwards.  Funny thing is that you never caught it.     The Rules you are viewing are not the ones that the Tiger Team agreed with.  No matter what was proposed for changes, IDPA has full right to accept or change them suggestions as they see fit.  I wasted almost 4 months of my time away from my family to help them on the TT (because they did not ask any of you for your input....wonder why) when they completely messed up the Match Administration portion with the release of the draft on May 7th.  This is completely way off from what the TT did.

  So if Robert was a new person to GSSF, he would have 7 entries on random prizes(including Glock guns).  Glock really give away more than they take in with these matches.   Hope to see you there Steve(let me know if you need more brass).

It is time again for the 2nd annual Memorial Red, White and Blue Steel Match at Music City Tactical Shooters on May 26th, 2013.  I am submitting the 1st draft only at this time and will be working on the divisions(if any) and classifications(if any) along with a possible Grand Finale stage.  This will be a fun match for those that love shooting steel in a friendly safe environment.  I am looking at a PAR time match vs straight time and will be working on it this week weighing the options.  We may be doing a free cookout for everyone to celebrate those that protect us while we have the luxury of being safe with our families enjoying a hobby.     Upcoming MATCH: Memorial Red, White, Blue Steel Match 5 stages minimum - Sunday, May 26th, 2013 Round count: 100 pistol rounds minimum Click Here for CoF Description   Hope to see you there!
