  1. Posting them now, completely forgot about it last night and getting braces for the oldest son this morning. Equipment is charging now so I can turn it back on.
  2. We will be hosting a 6 stage outlaw steel(knock down to count) this Saturday. We also will be running an IDPA classifier after the match. IDPA classifier we have 4 spots filled. I will take up to 10.
  3. 5 Stages of 24 rounds and no shoots.  Most competitors shot 130-150 rounds for the match.  Out the door with range cleaned by 8:59.   Scores posted:  https://practiscore.com/results.php?uuid=E8768295-88E6-40E3-9290-BC953B618EFA&page=matchCombined
  4. MCTS Indoors will be hosting our weekly match Wednesday 05/20/15 at Sumner Gun and Supply. Setup begins at 5pm, shooters meeting at 5:45, rounds downrange at 6:00pm. We will have 4-5 challenging stages (or 9pm) depending on turnout. We offer a safe and fun atmosphere and welcome new shooters. Come out and bring your friends. Our weekly matches are a great opportunity to hone your skills and improve your shooting accuracy. Bring the pistol caliber carbines/race guns for NFC division. Terry has sent me the stages to place on the website.
  5. 3rd Tuesday - Run n Gun (USPSA like) MCTS members get employee pricing. Matches will start at 6pm to catch people right after work in the area. That should be plenty of time to get there when most people get off at 5pm. If you can't make it right at 6pm, we will still take entries and put them at the bottom of the shooting order. Some stages may be completed by the time some will get there and if they are torn down for the next ones, then they will have to be DNF. We will be using the pistol bay side. We will no longer need to use the classroom area. Safe area will be on the bay itself and monitored. Hope to see you there!
  6. Glad you enjoyed it.  Hope to see you back again!
  7. Good night to gauge the surroundings.  Look for 5-6 stages for 15 shooters 4-5 for 15 plus in the future.  A lot of questions in the beginning and some late people, we will get this streamlined ASAP.  Andy even came by and gave me a hug and reinforced our discussion earlier this week.  He loves me more than you Toby.....LOL   Scores:  https://practiscore.com/results.php?uuid=2B99035E-A9FB-469A-B706-F0DEC77639F0&page=matchCombined
  8.   Yes sir, but if you don't have something we can find you something to wear.
  9. On Saturday night, we will be celebrating John Finkle's 49th birthday in style.
  10. We are pleased to announce that on May 16th / 17th, Music City Tactical Shooters will host the Music City Shootout V. The GSSF match is a great match for beginners and experienced shooters. Please don't forget about those wanting to win weapons, money and prizes at random(not just based on performance). Please visit www.gssfonline.com for more information and registration. Onsite registration will start each day at 9am-3pm on Saturday and 9am-2pm on Sunday. People can come and go as they please(shotgun start). Last year match there was little or no wait due to efficiency of the match workers and number of total stages to accomodiate shooters expected. This is a great match for all shooters and all abilities. There is no drawing--all starts are from low ready and no reloading on the clock. You will need your Glock Box or gun rug to transport your gun between stages. Or use your holster with gun at slide lock. The course calls for 81 rounds but you will need extra for the steel stages, "Glock the Plates" and "Glock'M". The other stage is "Five to Glock". Registration is online or on the day of the match at the range. Hope to see you there!

  12. Well, Craig is different. I am sure he still loves and respects you deep down.
  13. No worries about the time needed, I haven't seen any one will that had the audacity to make fun of others' shooting ability. Everyone starts off new and then depending on how much time they practice, will get better and comfortable with their weapon. Most important thing is to be safe and have fun, laughter is encourage. Going to test every aspect you need for sanctioned matches(if you are inclined to participate in them).
  14. Dont think of it as embarrassing oneself. Always take away positives from each experience as a learning tool. Love to have you there. Most of TEAM MCTS will be there and some regular members, they or anyone will be happy to help. Plan on 5 stages tomorrow night.

  16. Absolutely! Good reason to only focus on our club and members. Let everyone else worry about their own stuff and let unnecessary chatter fall on deaf ears.
  17. Combined effort with all the MCTS MDs.
  18. NA wanted to shoot different disciplines on a weekly basis and start earlier. More shooting matches is a bad thing I guess. What was said in the meeting between NA and David/Mick, it is non of my business and did not ask. To lessen the butt hurt that may follow, I did request and it was approved for David to continue to receive free matches. I honestly forgot about asking for Mick. Did I have to do this, no but thought it was right. What isn't tolerated on that FB page is negativity nor inappropriate material to offend the ladies and kids on that page.
  19. Coop, It will be more work, absolutely. Looking forward to it.
