  1. Springer for my money. Never owned a Ruger 1911 but I have owned many, many Colt,Springfield,Para Ordnance guns. The Springers were the only 1911's that were gtg out of the box. All the others needed tuning to run consistantly. Springfield is the only "commercial" mass produced 1911 I buy anymore. I have zero experience with the higher end customs and have no desire to own one.
  2. Ho Lee Sheet.........TRANSFORMER.
  3. I lived in Georgia for 48 years. It's really bad down there and getting worse every day. Bad enough to go to these extremes. I applaud his efforts.
  4. I shoot there because it's close. I love east TN and I'll never leave BUT God I do miss Georgia's wildlife management areas, outdoor ranges all over the state many that were almost always empty and didn't cost a thing to shoot.
  5. Wish I could get a state job. : (
  6. Hmmmmm.....if it hits the USA I'm gonna buy a boat and go kick that azz for a little while.
  7. I owe the IRS just north of 26k. Should I hide my wife and dog?......well dog anyway.:)
  8. I understand we are a bunch of cheap (and in some cases like mine..just dang poor) bastages BUT tax returns are just around the corner and I'm sure many here like myself are already salivating over your next purchase which brings me to my point. Please, please consider trading with your LGS if your not doing so already. As many here already know there is not a huge mark up IN MOST CASES. No I'm not a dealer nor am I affiliated with one. I'm a old manufacturing guy myself but this is the thought that occurs to me..... WHAT IF THERE WERE NO LOCAL GUN SHOPS? (And no internet). Just a thought.
  9. Clint Smith for president.
  10. Ok......I feel better.....1 glock on the list. NOBODY steals glocks. The 1 glock that is on there probably suffers BTF and the owner thru it away.
  11. Back in the mid 90's I came across a smoking good deal on a Colt hbar sporter in 7.62x39. The biggest problem back then was finding magazines for it that would feed more than about 10 rounds reliability. I'm sure that's not an issue now a days.
  12. ROTFLMAO
  13. Welcome guys! Knoxville here.
  14. Somebody call da amberlamps.
  15. He leakin'
  16. My only fear is my wife finding all those empty glock boxes I have in the garage. :/
  17. Hell, I wonder if I can jump the boarder to Mexico and get a job? :)
  18. Godspeed and thank you justice scalia. RIP
  19. Looks good. I'd leave it be.
  20. lolol....lol. Good bust.
  21. Last Sunday morning my pastor came to the podium and said he wanted to make a confession. He said the best years of his life were spent in the arms of another man's wife. Imagine the gasps. Then he told the entire church who the man's wife was. She was his mother. True story.
  22. I have never seen a gun mag in a doctor's office but when I was a kid in Georgia the Barber Shop my dad took me to had millions of Guns&Ammo mags. When the Barber finished up my haircut he'd always offer me a piece of bubblegum. I'd always say "can I have this gun book instead?" He'd laugh and I'd get both. Man those were the good old days. Circa 1970.
  23. Yes OEM Glock mags are what I was referring to. Over the years I've had experience with "hundreds" of OEM Glock mags and I've never once had a bad glock mag. Never owned gen 1 guns but owned several generations 2,3,and 4 guns. Guess I have been lucky.
  24. Beautiful. You did an awesome job. Congrats on the new stick.
