After rereading it twice. I think you overall layout is fine although I generally prefer to use wired connections for anything that isn't portable so I would recommend you running additional ports.
Why so many wired connections? That's what could blow up your budget from what I can see.
If he is planing to run a lot of HD streams though his network then wired ports are the best way to support the video needs.
Thanks

I'm waiting for more info before a final opinion. Worse comes to pass, we'll set up TGO as an Onion site and everybody can just use Tor to access it. :stare:
Tor isn't secure. The US government has been able to trace people back through tor a while now. There are secure ways that exist but Tor isn't one of them.
Thanks

I wonder how this lawsuit will effect this?

There was a big display for the R51 at the NRA show. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that was one ugly gun.
I like the look of Glocks so I don't think it is a ugly gun the real question is how well it work for a $400 gun?
Thanks

Is your jamb/frame reinforced?
If you watch the video, it is the door frame/jamb that gives. No amount of locks would prevent that.
It took them 3 times before they finally got though that door but you are right the frame is more important then the door itself.
Thanks

Part of DC's law is that it prohibits carry within 1,000 feet from a foreign or domestic dignitary. At first glance this would seem to prohibit carry pretty much anywhere in the district as dignitaries are everywhere. However, if one reads the law it only applies to dignitaries moving under the protection of MPD, Secret Service, the capital police or a designate there of; to be charged the area has to be posted or the licensee has to have been informed by LEO's.
And with it against the law to carry dignitaries there is no ay to remain on the right side of the law. You don't know who is a dignitary and where they are. Just more useless laws to try to make us all criminals.
If c.a.willard reading is correct then the area will need to be posted or a LEO in the area will need to info people. It is kinda like the school events in parks issue. They have to inform you an event is happening and once informed you can be arrested if you don't leave the area or at least make your gun leave the area.

Welcome to the free world.
ehhhh YUP! Only someone who knows the northeast understands what it means to live in a "Free State"
Yep, Counting the days, less than 3 weeks till we move

It looks like the company I work for is about to be bought out. I have some seniority built up. I have been told I will loose it and I've been told I will keep it. I'm more worried about the benefits I will loose(ie vacation). Is there any laws concerning this?
Nothing protects you it is all up to the employer. I have found it also depends allot on the type of company. Company's with lots of professionals and they are buying not just the company but the people are more then likely to grandfather your existing befits. On the other hand if it is a restaurants with high turnover and the are buying the location, name, and franchise agreements you are more likely to be offered the new packages or find yourself a new job. Size of both company's can also make a difference. If both company's are pretty good size the merger will likely takes years and the syncing of benefits will be slow to change. From my experience most company will leave your current Vacation time in place but you are likely not going to get any increases unless it syncs with the new company's policy.
Thanks

I love my Glock 19 and I don't think it is an ugly gun. I think in many ways it is a thing of beauty.

Beat me too it.
Barring another Hillary campaign collapse or an exit stage right should a body be discovered, O'Malley isn't in the race to win, he just wants to ensure his next job is a prestigious appointment or lucrative big business/speaking gig.
Being a white very very Liberal Dem from a solidly blue state should mean he doesn't have a change in hell but then again look at who our current POTUS is and 8 years ago I would have said he had no change in hell.
Thanks

Another wacko is entering the race. Malloy, he was ousted
From office after he brought some great American regulations like the rain tax and strict gun laws.
I don't think there is enough fluoride or vaccine available to make a logical person believe a word that comes out of a dem mouth. To be clear O'Malloy wasn't ousted he was term limited. The wack jobs of this state might have re-elected him if he could have ran again.
Thanks
Robert

My son lives just west of Bmore and hopes to escape to TN someday but work gets in the way of life sometimes.
Took me 2 years to put all my ducks into a row to make that happen. Although it is amazing how much worked together the last few months to make it happen at last.

We locked down a move date of June 22nd, last Wednesday, and they said June was filling up fast.
Yea I know. We are pretty open on the dates and looking for the best price possible from a legit mover but we are like 80% to 85% packed at this point. Only thing left are just odd and ends and the stuff you can't pack until the last min.
Thanks
Robert
LOL. Our move data is June 22nd also. Now that is funny.
Thanks

It is a perishable skill. One must train constantly to maintain, or improve, your skill.
I am almost scared to get out to the range. I have been packing for the last several months preparing for the move so I am sure I am rusty as hell. Moving is only a few weeks away yea.
Thanks

I just bought a Raspberry Pi computer that I plan to use as a Media Center in the bedroom, and maybe another one in the basement if it works out. Rasberry Pi is a computer about the size of a deck of cards. It was designed for educational purposes, and has really taken off in the electronic hobbyist world. There are several Linux distributions that work with it, with a couple of them being set up just for use as a media center. Mostly they run an application called Kodi (formerly named XBMC),
Kodi can pull in content like video and audio that you have stored locally or on your network, or it can pull it in from Internet sources. It has a bunch of stuff it knows about natively, like Youtube or the DIY Channel's video library, but people have written add-ons that make it easy to watch other content, like video from other cable channels, and Crackle for free movies. I've even seen add-ons that stream live TV.
The Rasberry Pi cost me $69 on Amazon for a complete setup: board, case, SD Card, WiFi, cables. I just snapped it all together and two minutes later it's ready to plug in. If it sucks as a media player, I'll find some other use for it. If nothing else I can use it to surf the web and check email.
Don't forget to enable the MPG2 decoder that will cost you like 2 bucks but worth it.
Thanks

Talk to a scrap yard. Most of them buy small amounts of metal put it all together and sell it to yards to melt it back down for a profit. Most will sell to you if you are willing to buy above the price they are selling it else where.

Hello everyone. I am joining you fine folks from Central IL. No doubt at the rate things are going we will soon no longer be the land of Lincoln but will be now known as the land of obama...
I am an gun owner and knife collector and I see there is strong interest in not only guns but also knives here on the forum.
I am escaping Maryland next month looking forward to joining everyone in a free state.
Thanks

Pop in when you land here and get settle in, who knows I might buy you a coffee. Not the overprice Starbucks stuff though. LOL
I might take you up on that. Personally I have never liked Starbucks coffee :). We don't have a move date yet we have a rep from the moving company coming Tuesday. We are looking at Mid June move date.
Better quit discussing guns, or else!

I agree nothing is secure. I also agree that a layered approach is the most secure method. My concern is people think that using Tor makes them secure. Tor on it own is only so secure and the US Government has peeled that onion long ago.
Thanks
