4. This just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. -- Disgraced Subway spokesman Jared Fogle suffered a bloody nose and other injuries after an inmate attacked him in January, TMZ is reporting. Inmate Steven Nigg, 60, went after Fogle in the recreation yard at Englewood Prison in Colorado on Jan. 29. Nigg pushed Fogle to the ground and then punched him in the face, according to the report. Fogle ended up with a bloody nose, swollen face and scratches on his neck. Nigg, who’s serving time for a weapons charge, suffered a small cut on his left hand. He was placed in solitary confinement after the "ambush," according to the report. TMZ reported that Nigg’s family said the inmate was upset because there were so many child sex predators assigned to the facility. Fogle was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of child pornography and engaging in sex with minors. His attorneys have appealed the sentence.   http://pix11.com/2016/03/16/jared-fogle-reportedly-attacked-during-prison-yard-ambush/
5. 49 years in June and all is well.

7.  Welcome from the other end of the state
8.  I saw a Hardee’s going up somewhere in Memphis but can't remember where.
9. These folks may have some of the things you need:   http://www.hoosiergunworks.com/catalog/1903.html
10. Ok, after rereading my post, I can see how it might be misinterpreted. I left off the at the end. The point I was making was that no matter what is done nowdays, someone is going to scream discrimination.
11. That makes it a little easier   http://www.walnutgrovegunstocks.com/search?q=1917
12. From the link:   The legislation would allow anyone 21 or older with a weapons license to carry a gun anywhere on a public college or university campus, except for inside dormitories, fraternities and sorority houses, and at athletic events.   I guess this means you have to live off campus to be able to protect yourself ?? Sounds like discrimination to me.
13.  I bailed out of Raleigh in Jan. of 2000 as it was in it's early stages of decline. I won't even drive through our old neighborhood in broad daylight now.
14. I actually think this is better. We'll be seeing fewer signs if the business knows they are going to be liable.
15. Not made for speed change but you do get used to it. My summer carry weapon is a P230.
16.  Well, that description really narrows it down  :D . Actually, since I'm retired too and will be there mostly on weekdays, I might run into you. I'm easy to spot too, older guy, average build, graying hair and glasses (no mustache)  :D .  Big giveaway for me though, red dodge truck with Submarine Vet tags. It would be nice to meet you.
17. I just joined last week and was curious how many of the members here I might run into out there.   It would really be nice to be able to spot a TGO member by seeing a TGO hat or shirt...hint, hint......... :D
18.   I'm sure this is a true statement  :D . I have an American Derringer in .357 and I consider it my "life and death" gun because it hurts so much when I shoot it. Factory loads (357) puts powder burns on the target a 7 yds. .38s are unpleasant to shoot but .357s are downright painful      I had a friend that had one in 45-70 and tried his best to talk me into trying it. Being the smart person that I am (disregarding the 357) I told him no.
19. Welcome to the forum from the western end of the state. There is a LOT of folks here from your neck of the woods.
20. MountainDewed, I noticed your location was in  Memphis. Have you been to Classic Arms out in Germantown? (Germantown Rd. and Dexter)   I haven't been there in a while but I would bet they have some things that would perk your interest.
21. 75 rounds, in a sealed box? Maybe 40mm instead of 40 cal.
22.  If you're talking about target loads then use what you can get. I've got some Perfecta brass that I've lost count on the number of reloads and is usually the cheapest loaded ammo I can find.
23. The part about being able to verify the validity of the permit from the issuing state 24 hours a day concerns me. Who would they call in Tn. at 11:00 PM ? This is a legitimate question, is there such a place?
24.  I just got this in my e-mail:   On Tuesday, March 8, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear Senate Bill 1483, sponsored by state Senate Senator Mark Green (R-22). On Wednesday, March 9, the House Civil Justice Subcommittee is scheduled to hear SB 1483’s companion bill, House Bill 1748, sponsored by state Representative Judd Matheny (R-47). SB 1483 /HB 1748 would allow anyone who is 21 years of age or older who is not prohibited by law from possessing a handgun, to carry a handgun without a permit.  This important legislation would allow law-abiding gun owners the ability to better protect themselves and their loved ones, and to choose the best method of carrying for them, based on their attire, gender and/or physical attributes. Please contact members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and politely urge them to support Senate Bill 1483 when it comes up for a vote.  Please also contact members of the House Civil Justice Subcommittee and politely urge them to support House Bill 1748 when it comes up for a vote.
25. Not my favorite ammo so I'm going to pass but the 555 round box is $31.99 (limit one). Not worth the shipping unless you are already planning an order.
