First Post! Hello from Memphis
xsubsailor replied to Mindless-Focus's topic in New Member Introductions
Welcome from up north in Drummonds -
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. As I said before, I'm close by if you need anything.
-
Thanks, you made my day :D
-
I didn't. If I'd known for sure that someone there had what I needed, I would have made the hour long drive but decided it wasn't worth it.
-
Why not just give them a call? (901) 526-7600

Welcome to TGO. It's always nice to see another new member from this end of the state. Purchased a weapon from slappy and would like to say, he's a really nice guy. They say you can judge a man by his friends so again I say, welcome.

Is there anyone here that goes to the gun shows at the Agricenter? I think I've been to one since they moved from the Arena and that was years ago. My question is, is there anyone there selling reloading supplies and if so, is there enough savings to justify the admission charge? (I understand it's up to $10 now). Looking for powder and primers, probably 2000 primers and 2-4 lbs of powder.

It's already set to "Open New Tab Page". It's not really worth worrying about but thanks for the help. If I find something that works I'll post it.

Chrome and 8.1. What puzzles me though is TGO is the only place I have a problem. Ok, I just logged onto 4 different forums, closed out the windows (red X upper right of screen) and ran CCleaner. When I went back to the same forums, I was still logged out of them all except for TGO.
-
Happened again today but I'm not going to worry about it anymore.
-
As old as I am, I don't think I'll ever have to see Obama on any currency. I believe they have to be dead.
-
Bunch of small stuff so their shipping was only $4.99

I got an e-mail today from Midway announcing $20 off on an order of $150 or more (for the next 4 days). I knew that I had some things in my cart that I'd been putting off ordering and was pleased to see that the total for them was $153. :woohoo: Every little bit counts.

Not only do the ones around here not stop, they're usually doing at least 30 mph. By the time you hear the racket, they're long gone.

This has been driving me nuts for weeks now. I sign out at the end of the day and the screen goes to the sign in screen, no problem, it's supposed to. The next day when I come to TGO, I'm already signed in and everything works fine,.Every time I leave and come back, I hit refresh to update everything but eventually some time during the day a refresh will sign me out and bring up the sign in screen. Most nights after closing everything out, I run CCleaner to get rid of cookies and even this doesn't log me out of TGO. This is more of an annoyance than anything else but anyone has any ideas that doesn't require a lot of computer knowledge, I'm open to suggestions.

I'm real close by if you need something. Don't hesitate to drop me a PM.

All joking aside, this is going to be a nightmare for retailers. Think of all the machines with bill readers that will have to be changed to be able to read, not only the new bills, but also the old ones.
-
Since they want a bill with a woman on it, which would be an oddity, maybe they should create an odd numbered bill for her...........$75??

The Treasury Department plans to announce Wednesday that the new $20 bill will feature abolitionist Harriet Tubman, replacing former President Andrew Jackson. A Treasury official confirmed the planned announcement to Fox Business Network. It would make Tubman the first woman on U.S. paper currency in 100 years. Politico also reported that Alexander Hamilton will remain on the front of the $10 bill, and other design changes are also being rolled out. The expected announcement from Treasury Secretary Jack Lew follows a heated debate ever since he said last summer the government planned to incorporate a woman on the $10 bill. Lew's initial announcement set off a firestorm of protests from supporters of Hamilton, the first Treasury secretary. They argued that the founding father had molded the nation's financial architecture and should not be removed from his rightful place on the currency. Hamilton fans got a boost from the interest generated by the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton." Earlier this year, Lew was personally lobbied by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the author and star of "Hamilton," during a meeting at Treasury. Treasury all together received more than 1.5 million responses to Lew's request for suggestions on the currency redesign. That prompted him to delay an announcement, which he had originally said would be made by the end of 2015. An online group, Women on 20s, had been campaigning for a woman on the $20 bill. Jackson's critics say he should not be on U.S. currency because of the part he played in the relocation of Native Americans. Still, the change is likely to inflame lawmakers from Tennessee, which Jackson represented in Congress before becoming president. The state also generally claims the former president was born in an area that is now part of Tennessee. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/04/20/change-for-20-treasury-to-replace-jackson-with-tubman-on-bill.html
