  1. I questioned the pricing at our Navy Exchange and was told they had to stay within 10% of the outside store prices. I've never understood why the Army/Air Force PXs could sell weapons and ammo but not the Navy. (I guess we're not to be trusted )
  2. Just don't go killing any lions.
  3. Even he couldn't have done the damage that Obama has done to this country.
  4. Insert a name, any name........................... would have made a better POTUS than the pos in the WH now.
  5. If you can't find a used one, I think this place could fix you up. http://campercorralnashville.com/
  6. You can thank Lyndon B Johnson for that.
  7. Out of curiosity I googled "installed glock barrel upside down" and you will be happy to know that you were not the first .
  8. I just picked up on that too. The man suspected of killing a police officer in central Georgia was arrested in Florida following a manhunt, authorities said. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/suspect-georgia-police-officer-killing-arrested-florida-article-1.2751665
  9. Doesn't seem to be much news about this. A manhunt was underway Sunday in central Georgia after an Eastman police officer was fatally shot while responding to a 911 call, authorities said. Patrolman Tim Smith, 31, was killed when he got out of his patrol car and confronted the suspect, identified as Royheem Delshawn Deeds, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a statement. Deeds, 24, is considered armed and dangerous, the bureau said. Dodge County 911 received a call Saturday night about a suspicious person seen downtown, the bureau said. "Officer Smith exited his patrol car to investigate and was shot by the individual," the statement said. "Officer Smith returned gunfire and the individual fled the scene." Smith was rushed to an area hospital where he died. Smith, a father of three, had been with the Eastman Police Department since February 2011, the statement said. Bureau Special Agent in Charge Scott Whitley told WMAZ-TV that Smith had a conversation with the alleged gunman while standing outside of his patrol vehicle. Whitley said Smith, who was not wearing a body camera, called in the shooting. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2016/08/14/police-officer-shot-and-killed-by-suspect-on-the-loose-georgia/88709466/
  10. When I saw the one at Anderson Tully I was sitting on a 12' ladder stand with a single shot BP rifle. Come to think of it, I think that was the last time I hunted up there.
  11. Sometimes it works out at the end. PLANT CITY, Fla. – A man who had recently been released from prison after serving time for a road rage killing has been shot and killed during another road rage encounter in Florida. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/08/11/man-released-after-road-rage-death-killed-by-motorist.html
  12. I got a chuckle out of this. My first centerfire handgun was a .41 Mag. I got into reloading real fast.
  13. I was making a run to the landfill today and noticed a big for rent sign in the window of AJ's gun shop. Does anyone know when and why they closed?
  14. I saw one while hunting at Anderson Tully in Lauderdale County in '98.
  15. I don't even mow my yard unarmed. I have no idea what's in the area behind my property and of course, who's in the vehicles going down the road (but that's another topic ) I don't want to be the headline when they realize we have cougars around here. "Old dude pulled off riding mower and killed by cougar"
  16. I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
  17. I use Postimage.org. It's free and simple enough for me to use
  18. You're right, I keep forgetting about that. I know Advance Auto does and pretty sure Auto Zone too.
  19. If you can't find one, Harbor Freight sells a cheapie for around $20.
  20. I just googled 223 Wylde vs 223 remington and there's a lot of info out there. Doesn't seem like it would be a problem. Example: The .223 Wylde chamber is not a caliber, it is a barrel specification. All .223 Wylde chambered rifles are capable of firing both .223 Remington and 5.56×45mm NATO ammunition.
  21. Sounds like they need another event at these Olympics…….Survival. Everyone left standing gets a participation medal.

  23. I don't have anything to hide ( at Ieast I don't think so) but this invasion of privacy thing is getting out of hand. I know it's not illegal but it still bothers me. On second thought, maybe they can tell me some things that my feeble old brain has forgotten. This Company Has Built a Profile on Every American Adult Every move you make. Every click you take. 24. The best deal I've seen in a long time was yesterday at a nearby Walmart. 1000 round boxes of Winchester M-22 for $50.00.
