If there is any such thing as an upside to this, it would be the part I underlined. His nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman said he died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. He was 83. His nephew said in a statement, “We understand for all the emotional and physical challenges this situation presented we have been among the lucky ones — this illness-pirate, unlike in so many cases, never stole his ability to recognize those that were closest to him, nor took command of his central-gentle-life affirming core personality. The decision to wait until this time to disclose his condition wasn’t vanity, but more so that the countless young children that would smile or call out to him “there’s Willy Wonka,” would not have to be then exposed to an adult referencing illness or trouble and causing delight to travel to worry, disappointment or confusion. He simply couldn’t bear the idea of one less smile in the world. http://variety.com/2016/film/news/gene-wilder-dead-dies-willie-wonka-young-frankenstein-1201846745/

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the state's biggest health insurer, will raise individual rates by 62 percent in 2017, or nearly double the 36 percent rate increase adopted this year by BlueCross. Small group rates in the marketplace exchange will rise by only 6.5 percent, however. http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/business/aroundregion/story/2016/aug/23/state-approves-62-percent-jump-individual-health-exchange-rates-bluecross-next-year/382624/

They were probably in the box labeled grenades. All joking aside, it does make one wonder what else has slipped into the country and who it was going to.

Makes you wonder how many are already here. On August 4, the Risk Analysis Unit (UAR) Custom Algeciras noticed a suspicious container headed out to the US by ocean freight. The Bill Of Lading indicated dismantled weapons. However the UAR decided to seize the container for a full inspection. This is common for ocean freight and customs. I used to work for a Freight Forwarder and we imported containers of shipments from Asia. US Customs often runs random exams/inspections on containers. They can be as simple as a full container x-ray or in this case a full inspection and every item is pulled from the container and matched up with the packing list and invoice. The UAR pulled this container and found it full of Sig 553s. 737 of them. Along with 72 Swiss made grenade launchers. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/08/22/container-full-assault-rifles-grenade-launchers-headed-usa-seized-spain/

Glad I got my order in when I did. This is the same kit I built the last time and am really satisfied with it. To keep in the spirit of the thread, I also ordered extra springs and pins

Has anyone ever built on a LBR stripped lower, that's all I can find locally.

Welcome from the western end of the state. -
Thanks for reminding me, I've got a box from Midway around here somewhere with PMAGS in it.

If memory serves me right, you just got into reloading? If so, this might the the area you have a problem. If I'm not mistaken, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong, the 5.56 is thicker brass. Using the same bullet and same powder charge in a 5.56 and a .223 will result in different loads. You should get a bigger bang, more velocity and possibly a different impact point out of the 5.56.

This might help with the bullet weight question. http://info.stagarms.com/blog/bid/371861/How-Barrel-Twist-Rate-Affects-Ammunition-Choice

Don't really understand your question. If you're just after information, you're already in the best shop. If you're wanting to learn the mechanics of an AR, build your own. -

I just googled "case stuck in Springfield XDM" and there is a lot of info out there. Seems like it might be a common problem.

I'm fairly new, but here if I can be of any help.
