Reloading and casting are both very addictive, so to save you some grief, I'd be willing to take the lead off your hands . Just joking of course, but as others have said, read, read and re-read. I hope this grows some legs. A gun owner crossing state lines with a legally registered firearm can land in prison under what critics say is a “patchwork” of laws that have little to do with public safety. A bill working its way to President Trump’s desk could change that, by allowing gun owners who are allowed to carry concealed guns in their home states to exercise the rights in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry. “Our Second Amendment right doesn’t disappear when we cross state lines,” Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said last month when he introduced a Senate bill that closely tracks one introduced in the House. Cornyn’s Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 is aimed at allowing legal gun owners to carry concealed firearms “freely between states without worrying about conflicting state codes or onerous civil suits,” he said. The National Rifle Association said confusing and conflicting state laws can ensnare law-abiding gun owners. “The current patchwork of state and local gun laws is confusing and can cause the most conscientious and law-abiding gun owner to run afoul of the law when they are traveling or temporarily living away from home,” said Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA. The proposed law would not supersede state laws or establish national standards for concealed carry, advocates assure. A companion bill in the House of Representatives was introduced by Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C. Some 40 states already offer some form of reciprocity with other states. A few days ago something was mentioned about tornadoes in a thread, can't remember which one. This was the Grandpappy of them all and happened on this date in 1925. I remember watching an interview with a survivor on, what I believe, was the 50th anniversary. He said he saw one of his friends holding on to a pole with her body horizontal to the ground like you would see in a cartoon and then she was gone. In 1925, the area wasn't that populated, can you imagine what one of that magnitude would do now. Lots of pictures and facts at the link. The path of the Tri-State Tornado was 235 miles with an average width of 3600 feet, however there were moments when the width reached over 1 mile wide. The Tri-State Tornado lasted for 3 1/2 hours, starting down at 1:01pm 3 miles NNW of Ellington, MO and dissipating at 4:30pm 3 miles SW of Petersburg, IN. Average forward speed of this tornado was 62 miles-per-hour with a record setting speed of 73 miles-per-hour at one point. Well, we're finally starting to get a little winter weather here. As usual, it started out as rain, turned to freezing rain, then sleet and now snow.

I heard about this on the radio earlier. They said it was a .40 cal. round. MILLINGTON, Tenn. — A 22-year-old is being airlifted to the Regional Medical Center after a shooting at a local shooting range. The unidentified victim was inside Top Brass Shooting Range around 2:30 p.m. when the gun went off, hitting him in the head. He was airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Public Safety Director Gary Graves told the media the victim was alone inside the shooting lanes when it happened. There were also four employees inside the business, but they reportedly didn’t see what happened. At this time, they are not saying whether the shooting was an accidental discharge or a suicide attempt. Back in 1966, during the height of the cold war, we were going through the Straits of Gibraltar and the lookouts picked up a periscope off our starboard side. Shortly thereafter, a Russian surface ship pulled up close and escorted us into Naples. Later that night we ran into part of their crew in the Cactus Bar (Don’t even ask, how I remember the name of the bar, that’s another story). We were on opposite sides of the room and having a good time, then someone suggested we buy them some drinks. Needless to say, they were surprised, and even more so when we motioned them over to our table. We pushed several table together until we had room for everyone (there must have been 10-12 of them and about the same number of us). I don’t know if they could understand us and I know we had no idea what they were saying but we were having a hell of a good time. I can remember one of them pointing at our Dolphins and making a motion of going under water. When we confirmed it, he shook his head and made a negative motion with his hand, then a circular motion around his ear like we were crazy. He got a round of applause for that . Later on, they seemed to be embarrassed about not being able to buy rounds of drinks but we assured them, it was no problem and footed the bill ourselves. All was going well until the Shore Patrol showed up. It seems that the fact that we were partying with the “enemy” got back to the boat and we were ordered to return to the boat immediately. The Shore Patrol got a little tiffed because before we left, we paid for another round of drinks for our new buddies. I don’t know what they went through, but we were grilled about what was discussed at the bar. The only thing we were able tell them was the Russians didn’t have as much money as us, could drink like a fish, and liked the ladies with a little meat on their bones.
