  1. I ordered some CCI Maxi-Mags a couple of weeks ago from SGAmmo and what I paid, including shipping, was $.17 a round.
  2. Maybe. In a bid to increase access to public lands, the Interior Department unveiled a proposal for new and expanded hunting and fishing access to 1.4 million acres in 46 states. The plan, announced Wednesday, would open 74 national wildlife refuges and 15 national fish hatcheries operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to outdoor sporting enthusiasts. Reps for groups including the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Delta Waterfowl and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation were thrilled by the news, as per the release, with some social media commenters echoing similar applause. https://www.foxnews.com/great-outdoors/trump-administration-plans-expand-hunting-fishing-protected-acres
  3. Trying to scratch an itch here. Looking for opinions/recommendations on .22 mag bolt actions. It's going to be a "shoot for fun" gun so not looking for a high dollar one.
  4. Scot Peterson, the Broward Sheriff's Office school resource officer who failed to protect Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students in the February 14, 2018 massacre, was fired today and arrested on 11 criminal charges related to his conduct the day of the shooting. Broward State Attorney Mike Satz and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced the state has charged Peterson with seven counts of child neglect, three counts of culpable negligence, and one count of perjury. "The FDLE investigation shows former Deputy Peterson did absolutely nothing to mitigate the MSD shooting that killed 17 children, teachers, and staff and injured 17 others," FDLE Commissioner Rick Swearingen said in a media release. "There can be no excuse for his complete inaction and no question that his inaction cost lives." https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/parkland-bso-deputy-scot-peterson-arrested-on-11-charges-11188755
  5. You can be assured that now that the gun grabbers know that he doesn't like them, they will go after them.
  6. I fly fixed wing R C aircraft so I'm not too knowledgeable about drones but this site seems to have the most up to date info. on the subject. https://dronelife.com/ Our club has a large group of drone flyers, mostly racing drones, but I'm sure you could get answers to any questions you have. The only problem is that we're way up here just south of Millington.
  7. Free shipping this weekend on orders over $99. With no shipping costs they are cheaper then SGAmmo https://www.ammunitiondepot.com

  11. A bipartisan bill passed Monday that encourages states to develop additional shooting ranges by making federal excise tax funds available to fish and wildlife agencies. Known as the Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act, the bill “reduces the percentage of non-federal dollars that need to be spent on a target range to 10 percent,” reported The Western Journal. The bill passed through the House and Senate and is headed to the president’s desk. https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/30/public-shooting-range-bill/
  12. I could give you a list of reasons not to, but the straw that broke the camel's back was when I was told to remove my hat when I entered. They'd had a robbery recently and were making everyone take off their hats, and I believe sunglasses. I haven't been back since.
  13. I couldn't say, I've never shot at either one, just looking at guns for sale.

  16. Another gun company moving south. It must be the weather On Tuesday (April 23), Gov. Asa Hutchinson and local economic leaders announced in a state capitol press conference that CZ-USA, a Czechoslovakia-based gun manufacturer would locate its North American headquarters in the Little Rock Port Authority. The $90 million facility will manufacture, warehouse and distribute the company’s high-end, precision firearms, while employing up to 565 workers over the next six years. Construction will begin immediately, with the initial start-up planned for March 2020. Production at the Little Rock facility will commence in two, three-year phases. Arkansas won out over several states, according to Arkansas Economic Development Commission Director Mike Preston, in part due to the central location for U.S. distribution and workforce opportunities. Incentives provided by thestate include a forgivable loan, the Governor’s Quick Action Closing Fund, and several sales tax and construction tax breaks. Workforce training funds will also be made available to the company. A complete dollar amount was not available at the press conference. CZ-USA, the U.S.-based affiliate of Czech firearms manufacturer Česká zbrojovka a.s. Uherský Brod (CZUB), will locate the headquarters on 73 acres at the Port of Little Rock. “As CZ looked to increase our presence in North America, it engaged in a multi-state search for the ideal location,” said Bogdan Heczko, CZ-USA chairman of the board. “The Arkansas workforce, culture, business climate and industry support cleared the way for us to choose Little Rock as our new home.” https://talkbusiness.net/2019/04/cz-usa-to-locate-90-million-facility-565-jobs-in-little-rock-port/
