She said the Taser wasn't to bad, the pepper spray sucked, she got sprayed, then after they set off a canister and she had to enter a cell and subdue a mock prisoner in the pepper cloud. She passed with flying colors, her instructor told her she really impressed him. Two hours later she still had very red eyes and a red blotchy face.

She is torn up this morning, she is on her way to get her pepper spray and taser qualifying today lol This means she has to get tasered, then 30 mins later get pepper sprayed. I told her to have someone video it so I could watch LMBO

Years ago Dad turned me onto silver scraping, I use to go to the Flea Market with him and walk around hunting junk silver to recycle, and after I got married and on my own I kept doing it as a money making hobby. It's a lot harder to find deals nowadays because anyone can just look up silver prices on the web. but I still do it mostly at yard sales and a few small auctions. It's helped pad my wife's and my retirement funds and is the main reason her job moving to Ohio isn't a disaster for us. It's just cool to find out Dad kept some of the silver he scrounged (like myself).

I was up at my house in Greeneville yesterday cleaning out and packing up some of Dads stuff for when we move up there, and found a small lock box hidden in the back of his gun closet. Well got it home, and finally got it open, and found 106 pre 1960 silver quarters in it and 27 per 1950's silver dollars. I didn't even know dad collected silver coins. I swear I learn something new about my Dad every time I go over there.

I worry about it every time I do the mandatory finger spin before I slam my Hi Point into my tactacool leg holster lol. seriously accidents happen everyday and at least if you live thru it you can learn from it

I'm pretty sure her being a young attractive blond had a lot to do with the price he gave her, he seemed really disappointed that I was taking her to the range to shoot not him.

I had a local gun store (Prices) that wouldn't sell me a gun on Christmas eve, because they said the wait time was to long that close to the holidays.

Yep, she bought it this morning, we have been at the range all day enjoying it, she is very happy with it and I have to admit I'm a little jealous.

My Daughter Shay is a High Caliber pistol lover like her dad lol. A LE friend of hers has a SR45 for sale and said he would take $275 if she wants it. He has had it about a year and says he put around 300 rounds thru it. I've never owned a Ruger myself but by what I've read they seem to be good pistols. Just wondering if anyone has a SR45 and what your thoughts on the weapon are. This will be a home defence weapon for her. Her carry weapon is a Shield and she loves it.

Ok, update, I ran this past all the kids and gave them the options, and they all agreed to just let Stephen pay the rest of the payments and give it to him. Our daughters all said they had always expected Stephen to get the house when we passed because he is the oldest so it was no loss to them, none of them thought the Sharing the house for a few years ideal was good, and none of them wanted the house sold off and divided. Now this opened a new can of worms, they are now arguing over who gets witch of my guns when the time comes lol

I've been to a total of 3 gun shows in Ktown and after paying $10 to get in and seeing the same high prices and $25 220 round .22lr DEALS I vowed never to go to another one.

Ah Ha, found out the drink he made me is made with VODKA but he ran out and put a very cheap Tequila ($5.99 per pint) in instead.
