  1. We used the safe house too, we ended up with a great deal although I still had to swallow a lot of tums writing that check. They delivered to us all the way out in the woods and even sadly broke a tire off their trailer. The ladies we dealt with were amazingly easy and nice and the delivery guys looked like they belonged in titans uniforms. It's hard to find someone bigger than monkey but they were. Expert delivery, to the exact spot we wanted it. And get as big as you can. Ours has become a gun safe that houses bourbon and important files as well. LOL
  2. This looks really interesting. I had a "SheBang" which was made for full size guns but it didn't do well with my 20 or 29. This might be a good solution! Let us know how it works for you after a week or so!
  3. Listen, that can happen at anytime. I'm not familiar with that one either. But I think if I get one, I'd have to get all black. I'm very curious about them and interested, but with my current AR, I don't know if the need is really there. I think it's more of a want.
  4. Double tap.
  5. It is! We've been toying with the idea. I just don't like how toy'ish it looks. Buds has a great price on them online. I think almost $100 or so cheaper than buying them straight from the manufacturer. The problem is I can't find one local to hold. But that hasn't stopped me in the past when it came to rifles.
  6. No, that isn't it, although I will need to read about it! Ha! I will need to look for a link.
  7. Start with the 20 and then ask for the 40 for Christmas! My 29 is my EDC and when I put my 20 on, whew, it is a HUGE difference. But then again it's because it's OWB. I've often thought about the 40 but I don't see the need for it (for me). However, Monkey and I have been eyeing a really neat looking Rifle that shoots 10mm and THAT I DO NEED!! But I need to get my hands on one and feel it first. Or not. But if I get 1, I'll have to get 2 because of you know who.
  8. I bought a 29 for my husband and 3 days later I found one in NiB-X. This was our first venture into 10mm for both of us and we hadn't tested his yet. I still bought it. The guy at the store thought I was nuts, but I did. 2 years later it's still my EDC. Every gun I have ever bought, I've only held it, never shot it, except for my 590a1. Guess which one I regret? LOL Turns out I am not a fan of the $800 Mossburg.
  9. So this was released today. If you liked the first one, this one looks like it will be just as good if not better. Also, there's a slight Matrix reunion and I'm excited to see how that pans out!!
  10. I want. I need. I love. So beautiful! Amazing job done, I'm sad it isn't mine!
  11. I can't find one. I'd did give me G&L and NA as two Ruger distributors but that's it. So I'll be patient and wait. I guess it's grocery shopping and baked ziti time instead.
  12. I'm really stuck and I only carry my 29sf. However, I really like the look of this A LOT. I think I know what I'm doing today now. We've been stagnant lately and haven't bought anything new and we do not own a Ruger. I think it's time to take a look.
  13. I'm not one to racial profile, but he for sure does not look Hispanic in my opinion. Those features a very dark. Could be a bad camera angle, or you've hit the nail on the head.
  14. I gotta say, my first EDC was my 29 and still is to this day. I am LOVING the all grey 20!! Poor Monkey might need to let me get one!
  15. It's actually called WIC (Woman, Infants and Children). It's for single women or women in low income relationships to help feed the kids. If a mother breastfeeds her coupons double because there's a stinger need for good nutrition because of the breastfeeding child. Otherwise it's coupons to cover formula. As a teenager I would go with my mom who worked for MSU to deliver them to mom's who had just given birth. It's why I didn't ever have a child as a teenager. I helped deliver WIC coupons to girls my age. As for the EBT part, what comes first? The chicken or the egg? Until you elect officials into office who truly want reform, we as the middle class will continue to support broken programs. But unless you live a perfect life on the up and up, you really shouldn't give two seconds of thought to someone else's business. Might as well get a Facebook for posts like this one. My single mom worked her butt off and we had government assistance which back then was food stamps before everything became electronic. But I guess she was terrible because once or twice a week we'd get pop and Burger King or Little Ceasars. @LINKS2K is 100% right in his posts. To judge someone from a tiny window, makes you no better.
  16. Pretty sure there was. We didn't shoot it, but I remember seeing it on the list
  17. My 590a1 leaves a bigger bruise oddly enough! But still awesome. So cool to watch!
  18. We all kinda started to move when it did, aside from it moving, it really was a nice event and Monkey and I had a great day. It was great to see KahrMan again too. I think my favorite part was shooting the M60... however the PKM was rad. Monkey has a bruise on his shoulder from the Saiga. I didn't even bother attempting that big guy! But I do apologize for going "oh my gosssshhhhhhh" at the end.
  19. I was totally joking! I just really hate paper currency. We're also bringing a friend who's not a member of TGO, but he got excited when Monkey told him about it. It will be hilarious to watch him.
  20. Thanks! I hate carrying around big sums, but I think we'lol be pretty safe there! lol See you all tomorrow!
  21. Hey, Quick question so we come prepared, does the range take cards or is everything strictly cash? I just want to be able to have enough $$ on hand if I need to.
  22. I had a Mickey watch too! Loved that thing!
  23. What the heck? No idea and knowing you I'm not googling it. However, since he did have a bad day at work I bought him a vintage blanket. Pretty rad right!?!?
  24. It's expensive, but it's also a piece of art. I love skeleton watches especially because you get to see the gears and mechanics of everything. Heck, I think I've worn that Russian Diver more than he has! There's something comforting about the ticking too.
