  1. Do you have any of that left?
  2. Customer Service is a skill. I don't care who you are, where you are from, what you're dressed like or what you are wearing. If you've got money, I've got the time. Waiting is a skill. Patience is too. I've had to ask people to wait before and it's NOT a proud moment for me. I sell things that are much more exspensive than a gun of any kind. While I think 20+ minutes is a bit high, things happen. I wouldn't judge if I wasn't the one who was there. Your wife clearly had the patience and kindness to wait. Personally, myself, I would have walked out and left it at that. David is right, slamming a business isn't ok. Feedback helps us, sharing information helps us, constructive criticism is always helpful. We aren't all wordsmiths, and God knows I'm not innocent of this but often times we let our emotions get the best of us. Personally, my LGS has 3 registers. They've always got an attendant at one and they're ALWAYS busy. Staffing and hours could be an issue. Lots of things could have caused that experience today, but again, constructive criticism is much more helpful. Also, I would suggest having the costs of being of benefactor raised a bit. It would help offset the lack of vendor sponsors. ;)
  3. We'll keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you.
  4. I'm drinking white wine, the boss man is drinking Larceny tonight.
  5. I'd love nothing more than to drive that ginormous JD!!
  6. Where we live, you can't get to our door. Honking is the only way. It's so much better in the woods!
  7. You. I. No. How dare you. Sig snob.
  8. You go. Now. I hope everything works out and that he's ok.
  9. Ocean has become one of Monkey's favorite. He even liked it more than the 10yr winkle. We had a friend over who sampled both and he agreed.
  10. Looked Y shaped to me. Either way I have no interest in feeling what that must have felt like.
  11. Day 1 must have sucked. I've never banged my head that hard. (Yet). I am 1,000% accident prone. Hence the squirrel being hit and luckily I avoided the deer. I just happen to be driving the Toyota death trap right now. Still waiting on an airbag replacement.
  12. I LOVE the pen holder!
  13. The Monkey likes that a lot, I gotta stock up!
  14. heck yeah! I just get a straw and stick it in the top like a juice box! LOL
  15. I have no questions. I just believe we might view this story differently. When I suggested we read different articles that was me being a smart alleck. And now this is kinda getting too deep and argument'ish so I'm gonna go watch The Muppets on Hulu and laugh my head off with my husband. But I do hope you have a great rest of the night! Sorry for the disagreement!
  16. It's what I get for being "fancy" normally I just buy me that big ol box of Bighouse Sangria! ;)
  17. Kind Sir, I didn't dispute that fact. In fact I do believe I mentioned they were idiots for letting their children hold the leash.
  18. Just to be clear, the shooters dog was an Akita. Not a teacup chihuahua. And the Akita bit a 6 year old while he was busy shooting the pit mix. I think some people glossed over certain parts. I'm all for opinions but changing facts from the article doesn't help make ones point better or smarter.
  19. We might have read two different articles.....
  20. Welcome! You can learn a lot here. :)
  21. That's the worst part. The kids were holding the leash. I don't care how cute it is, that's not responsible. But we don't like to tell kids no these days. Poor dog suffers. Totally ridiculous story.
  22. If I read this correctly, he had the dog pinned under his knee before he shot it in the head? Where is the danger in that? If you have the animal under control and pinned, then wait for it's owner to come over and get it. Pit or not.   Meanwhile, mister shoot first, think later's Akita bites a 6 year old? Where's the consequences of that? This is right up there with a 67 year old woman in a wal-mart parking lot. Some people should not own a weapon. This man sounds like one of them.
  23. That's how we were here at the new house. We didn't have roommates but we literally doubled in size on sq. footage. When I was in the bedroom at one end and Monkey was on the other end in the living room we decided on walkie talkies. Like 5 year olds. Space = Awesome. But sucks when it comes to being an adult and cleaning.
  24. I just CC'd with my 21 the other day. I was wearing my new 5.11 hoodie and since they don't like fat people and their sizes are way smaller than tagged, I printed a bit with it. We only went to the dump to drop cardboard and stuff. But I caught myself not only printing but when bending over to grab something my hoodie would ride up a bit. That was annoying, but where we live, I am pretty sure everyone carries. Legally or not.     I hate purse carrying but in certain times/places its ok. I can get to it really easy and what not but I really prefer to have it on my person. You could also work on learning to spot people using the new belly band things. I have a cancan and it hides really well under yoga pants and a tank top.
