I initially made a trip for a bottle like that, and I drove from The deep woods of Jackson County. But the money that I saved by shopping at Bob's made it worth it. Plus there's the benefit of getting to visit Mike. But Bob's has prices that are so much lower than stores in Cookeville/Algood. Sure I spend $20 on gas but heck, when you buy your stuff for $10 - $20 bucks cheaper per bottle, it works out. It's a great place to shop.

Totally different. I need to order a new TGO sticker for Monkey's truck because it's so faded. A while back I got an awesome "shall not be infringed" sticker but I noticed those aren't in the store. Will they ever be? I placed it too high and my dang back wiper blade had picked it off a bit.

Evidently there's one in Sparta this weekend too. Which bummed me out because we went to my LGS today and all I got was ammo.! :( I could tell they took all the good stuff to the show.

Facebook popped up with something about 3 shootings in Knoxville last night, all gang related. Evidently he killed a 15 year old boy who shielded 3 girls with his body. It came up right below the academy news.

I love my 29! Glad you had a fun time. I need some range time to break in my new 20. I wish Guns and Leather was't so far away from us. We love the Greenbriar store. Did all of our shopping there when we lived in Nashville.

  I didn't know what the heck it was until Larry mentioned it. So naturally I had to go do one! Now it's getting too comfortable. I was printing today because of what I wore but not super bad. Heck, I appendix carry, "It's my insulin pump, buzz off" will come out of my mouth one day I am sure. LOL

We'll need a full Wally Walk report. Also, I am kinda jealous when I say that because I did mine with my G29. She'll have it a little bit easier with this. Tell her congrats!

  It'll be a while. He still has the stash I got him last time. You guys think I am joking when I call him a hoarding squirrel but he will literally sit on things for what feels like FOREVERRRRRRR. Except when he sees a Glock 20. Then he tries to take those very quickly. He's the size of a Gorilla but when we wants something he's wily like a Lemur. LOL    The Whistlepig is the first thing he cracked tonight (and attempt to save "the good stuff") he has no idea that it was one of the ones further up there. Despite it not being a bourbon he said it was good. The first two sips, his face said otherwise but he's digging it now. He said it has a slight bite, but he likes the little bit of sweetness to it (that's a good thing, because he literally puts sugar in everything) . A mellow flavor and a clean finish. So that makes him happy. But that comes bearing in mind that he serves everything over the rocks and likes it most once it's settles a little bit. 

Some Monkey got pure spoiled today. However, I did also get some wine for myself but I feel like this was a pretty good haul. He told me he needs an all new gun safe just for the bourbon. Here I thought we could have a bar and share it. Someone clearly likes to squirrel away brass but now also bourbon. He loves it so I always restock it whenever possible because I don't want him to run out. Basil's is one that he's always enjoyed and then the other 2, well they speak for themselves. I am probably going to even get in on the Handy once I figure out a good cocktail to make. I am not even strong enough to attempt it on the rocks!

I'm a new compared to all of you. Monkey had a permit and an dec when we met and I thought he was nuts. I never had any experience at all with them. That has obviously changed now. While we purchase with the intent of self defense, range time is always in the back of my head. I love it. And I think it makes it a fun "hobby" for us to do together.    That is up until he started liking guns I had that he didn't. Now it's an all out competition in this house about who has what and all that. I have to bribe him to leave me alone by making trips to Knoxville for Bourbon and GT has seen some business for me. I keep thinkinging if I bribe give him enough great gifts, that I might be able to get that Dan Wesson I have had my eye on.

Deal, you can have those two...

I call first dibs on any Glock if it's a .45 or 10mm ;)
