Update: Daisy (Dolly didn't stick) went to the vet today. She did great. A little scared but she did awesome. First and most important and what I was terrified of, she is heartworm negative!! Yay! She weighs 58.4 lbs and she did have hook and round worms. We got a years supply of heartworm prevention, Drontal to kill what worms she does have and all vaccines necessary. She did great! Just thought people might enjoy an update with everything else going on.

Celine Dion - Hello (Adele Cover) LIVE - New Year's

It's like Madonna or Cher. You don't question it, you just go with it. She is Adele, and she rules all (of England at least). -

It's ok. There are meds for that. Being NSA, I can't take them right now, but I see it in my future. ;) -

Celine Dion - Hello (Adele Cover) LIVE - New Year's

Ouch. I'm with Fujimo on this. That was not a smart thing to do. She's clearly talented and had a great career and her voice is still great but clearly completely different than Adele's. It seemed a wee bit too low for her and she was kinda dull and seemed bored with it. -
No laughs were meant to be had sir! I love boots and I would totally wear those! I once met a guy with furry boots, turns out they were pony hair (or so he said). I literally petted the boots. But the gun is pretty schnazzy too. ;)

He's beautiful I've only ever seen one in person, she was blue and white. Simply gorgeous!

Never knew blocking was an option. Is there a specific link with instructions on how to do it?

All of our dogs are. They each have VERY distinct personalities and behaviors. I love all of them. Most people think we're nuts, but boy, I love my life.

Black lab looks, dachshund body. Massive muscles. He's a riot. He was a wandering stray I nabbed. His grey tells me we're getting up there in the years. He's about 8-10. Still as sassy as ever and he drives Monkey crazy. So it's perfect. I love him.

Mine as well. Take the idiot who gave our Dolly to Reefer with the threat of digging hole out back and shooting her if reefer didn't keep her. That guy needs a hole dug for himself. She's been nothing short of amazing here and I'm so glad I never met the backwoods idiot myself. But he belongs in a list like this. Screw the thought of public humiliation. It's a warning system for people to protect themselves and their pets from people who clearly have no respect for animals. What irks me is this is only being listed for a few years, so what? They can repeat again once they're clear? Tennessee has had so many responses from ARC in regards to hoarding cases and dog fighting cases it is disgusting. EVERYTIME they respond here it makes me ashamed. Our "punishments" are not hard enough for these cases. To me this is a start but the solution is stiffer sentencing, steeper court fees and community service cleaning kennels at local shelters.

Oh how I love thee. Said much better and shorter than I.

Looking for Nashville Credit Union/Banking suggestions
MrsMonkeyMan2500 replied to JDebler's topic in General Chat
We bank with two different banks, neither of which are a credit union. For me, I use Pinnicle Financial Partners. I love them. One of the friendliest, most helpful banks I have EVER used. www.pnfp.com Whenever I have trouble I just call and get a human instantly. I love them so much that I rely on mobile banking because there isn't a branch where we live yet. Monkey banks with First Tennessee. I'm iffy here. In Nashville they were great. Financially they helped us make some wise decisions, but up here I think the service could improve a wee bit. -
If it's an illegal hunter who just "hunts" to shoot I'm fine with that. We how a few "roadside hunters" where we live that do it. Those jerks deserve a name on the list as much as an abuser.

You're the best! Thanks, it came today!

I'm not going to argue this at all but I just went and looked. Gen 1:20-Gen 1:25 KJV Pretty much covers it, in my opinion. And I'm not even that religious. If God created a living being, it pretty much has a soul in my opinion. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Wow. This. Wow. No intelligence and no soul? Wrong and wrong. My dogs dream, they know when I'm sad or scared. They protect me. Surely to God, that's a horrible joke you just stated, either that or I'm a member of the Eurotrash. In which case is rather be Eurotrash. Because Yulin is wrong. And saying animals have no intelligence or souls is wrong too.

Hey now! I ordered stickers AND shared them! Just let me talk smack about hipsters. I should at least be able to do that! Have mercy on a dog hoarder!

you left out Tevas or Vibrams..

I've never fostered. I genuinely thought I would be successful at my first go. Then she just, changed my mind. Totally not my fault. Pretty sure she did a spell or something! It's the ears. Gotta be.

She is already Bersa! I've always been a person who loved Bully breeds. We have a Staffordshire and 2 "Pitweilers" and I never thought we'd have hounds. When we adopted Odie he was 8 weeks old and we were told he was a Pit mix, and he fit the part. Turns out he's more of a hound/terrier mix. So Dolly and he have become instant pals. K - Monkey and I both knew that. I felt horrible taking her once I saw your daughter with her. We had that talk on the way home. Almost felt like we stole her. She did GREAT last night. Slept the whole night through. We fed her, stayed up 2 more hours, let her out and we all got a solid 8 hours of sleep. Everyone is happy!
-
We have a Labaweiner who can snap a mole's neck in 3 seconds or less. He saw a possum from 20' away the other night. This girl, well, I have a feeling she's gonna put him and our other hound mix to shame. We don't want her to be a working dog, we just want her to have a good life. She discovered the pond tonight. She doesn't seem to mind the cold. She's an adventure that's about to happen. The baying is the most hilarious part!
-
Reef's the one who saved her, we're just the gullible idiots who thought we could live without keeping her.

I love this but she is the doggy formally known as Daisy Mae. She's now Dolly. An East Tennessee girl who has a coat of many colors. Liberated from a jerk owner, we felt she deserved a fresh name!
