UPDATE: TGO dogs for adoption!!
MrsMonkeyMan2500 replied to MrsMonkeyMan2500's topic in General Chat
So, with all the pups we had to go to the dump today. We don't get pickup where we live, so it was a mandatory trip. It's very, VERY rural where we are so we heads down the hill and up another to get to the dump. This is pretty much a gravel road that's a lane and a half wide. As we come around the first curve, what happens? Yep. A freaking puppy sitting smack dab in the middle of the road. No collar, no nothing other then covered in dirt and smelly as sin. So.... She road to town with us, we dropped her at my mother in laws for safe keeping and we went to TSC for more puppy food and pads. She's now walking the yard with Monkey. She's huge, but young. I'm thinking 12 weeks max. I'll post photos later, but this was one of those moments where you just can't believe it's happening again. Stick a fork in me. -
oh, I agree, with sandstone. LOL or you could zap him or juice him or sometimes the firing squad sounds awesome to bring back too. I don't think as a country we use the death penalty enough. Which is why there are idiot slugs like this that just coast in and out of the system. He doesn't give a crap. They said he had a 9mm in the car, as a felon, he clearly doesn't value life. His or anyone else's. Zap him and let's not risk him hurting someone else.
-
I'm crude too. I bite my tongue here a lot because my husband values the board. I don't always see eye to eye with you, but we use a lot of the same curse words and we both love 10mm so you're ok in my book in those regards. What I usually do is type out my whole thoughts then delete it. LOL that way I said it so I feel better.

He's a waste of tax payers dollars in several ways. Jailing him for a few more years isn't the answer. I'm with Sandstone.
-
He's not ALWAYS bad. Just most of the time. He did donate to the puppy fund after all. That deserves a few extra inches of rope! :)

Listen here, it was all good until I saw the website. Then it went from serious yet cheesy to just cheesy. But let's be honest, for 54, he's smokin hot in his "tacticool" outfit. Hell, Monkey's smokin hot when he walks around with his OWB 20 while we're home on the property. I must have issues.

No really!! I highly dislike revolvers. I can't explain it, they just do not "feel" good in my hand. -

Thanks! We appreciate it. I was in the middle of cleaning the laundry room, and I heard a ding. With the poo I just picked up I thought please let that be something good. Monkey was right, poo is real. For some reason Ressler is leaving cow patties and completely skipped over "normal" poo. The two little brats wolf boy and bat girl poo'd it up too, now they're sleeping. So in your head you start thinking, do I wake them and get it or do I wait a bit? Of course you get it ASAP but then you deal with entertaining them for 30 minutes before they get tired. I do not understand how parents do this. -

Some were very low this morning. I saw $70 on a lot of revolvers. I am a semi-auto fan myself and haven't ever found a revolver I liked so that may be my lack of knowledge in the area. -
I take it all back after going to the website and reading his child brides letter. In the words of Jimmy Fallon as Sara no H... "Ewczghk!"

Hoooooweeeeeee.... If I wasn't a married woman I'd go to La. to get hitched. That's a man. Good grief. I like how he went from full dress to sudden tactical clothing. That was very thought out. Sheriff Arnold might want to borrow a page from this man.

OMG, he makes it sound WAY worse than it is!! He's so full of it!! I do all the pad pickups, he does occasionally pick up an accident but the bags go out quick and I have purchased nice air fresheners AND I do actually clean with cleansers. Gosh, he makes it sound like a barn. -

I just shared because I thought there were some interesting things. I didn't know there was another thread about it, I'm sorry. It was early and I didn't think to search. I'm still new at this a bit. -

There's 1 Glock. It was a .40, so not worth the time. :D -
So evidently Sheriff Farris is looking to make some greenbacks for the department. Lots of revolvers, rifles and shotguns. Pretty interesting. http://www.taysauctions.com/auction/278959/online-only-absolute-auction-firearms/ http://wkrn.com/2016/02/18/putnam-county-sheriffs-department-holds-online-gun-auction/ Found the story on WKRN. I'm thinking they're all seizures, but there's some cheap and interesting looking pieces. -Admins, I had no clue where to put this but wanted to share. Hope this is right, if not, please feel free to move.

Their computer has this little button they hit and it says "eat the tax". It reduces everything in price. It still shows sales tax, I just don't pay it on my end. But that's when we makes deals. And like I said, we always leave happy. Except when he says no to the Dan Wesson. I've been wanting that since before thanksgiving.
-
Yes, in my case it's called a EWA (Executive Wife Action) where I go buy it. I've had excellent self control on this one. Did I mention it's bronze? It's worthy of the title sexual chocolate if I ever got it. Which is totally inappropriate but it's a $1,300 gun. I'm a bit woozy considering the time of night but I have 3 puppies who love to wrestle in pitch black. Maybe Hot Brown? One day it will be mine.
-
The bad part is when you find one and they have an incredible Dan Wesson that is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen and everytime you go in (quite a bit), it's sitting there haunting you. What's worse is when your friend gets one. Rubs it in your face, talks about how awesome it is and posts it all over Facebook knowing you want the one at the LGS. It's killing me slowly.
-
It is awful where we live. I am a huge believer that it's because of ignorance and boredom. We run people off every weekend during the good months. We've only had to chase people away once this winter. I've called the sheriff 3 times since we've been here (1 year) all for trespassers. The last time they fired shots. Where we live, average response time is 20-30 minutes. So we're always armed on property now.
-
OMG, LOL! Bersa, you've out done yourself, I laughed a dog right off my lap!
-
My LGS sounds way different than everyone else's. Maybe I buy too much or maybe they're too nice but I've yet to pay sales tax on a gun and we always leave happy and satisfied. Maybe you should start coming to my neck of the woods to shop!?!

You're really too kind. I'm actually more like the evil queen in Snow White and The Huntsman. I just happen to have a weakness for dogs. LOL I'll post photos tomorrow but I had Cooper and Ressler outside today in the sunshine and after an hour I had 2 pooped puppies. They've never slept that well before! I wish the weather didn't call for rain the rest of the week. I'd get them all outside!! -
We have extreme penetrator in 10mm and LOVE it!! I'm a huge fan of theirs! Quick shipping, great service and an awesome product. I just wish it was a wee bit cheaper! I won't carry it as a self defense round because I'm scared that if I ever had to, it would go all the way through. But it is so smooth and it shoots great. I'd love to try it in a rifle.
-
I've never had a problem getting a good deal at my LGS. I've only done two transfers in the last year and one was because it was a smoking hot deal from Buds and the other was because it was a VERY hard to find rifle. I felt guilty both times, but I built my AR there and I've spent a pretty decent amount there in the year I've lived here. Hands down, it's the owner, his wife and some of the staff that keeps me coming back.

Ohhhh you tease! Mike!!! If I wasn't elbows deep in puppies, I'd be on my way tomorrow!
