Anyone see the last episode of the Last Ship? I've got a few questions about it.

I don't have experience with the gun but tons of experience with the round. 17 HMR will put about anything down. If you can see it than you can hit it. I've killed foxes out to 250 yards and my father has killed other animals much farther out. I'd buy one but I'd wait so they can get all the kinks worked out.

I'll throw this out there. The Regal Range is pretty good but the Nashville Armory isn't bad at all.

I would say pretty handicapped. Trap you could go ahead and count yourself out unless you would just want to shoot doubles. I'm sorry but you can't shoot singles or handicap with a gun that short. Skeet could be done and the same with sporting clays but you'd have to watch yourself to keep from blowing past the target. Shorter barrels on competition shotgun seem a little whippy to me. But I doubt you'd have a snowballs chance of shooting very good competitively because I doubt your gun has an adjustable comb, rib, stock, or screw in chokes. You've got to make the gun fit you and hit where you are looking. Trust me I've learned it the hard way. I don't mean anything by my comments it's just advice. If you want to shoot all three disciplines get an 1100 with an adjustable stock like a Jack West.

I would say it is. Are you recoil sensitive because with that gun and "hot" 10mm it will probably be a handful. Heck I'd buy it.

Get an XS Big Dot for your shotgun.

For all of those that contributed information I want you to know that it is deeply appreciated. I now have two bags. I'll leave it at that. I think I kept both bags under 20 lbs.

I don't think there is anything as an AD because if you put your meat hooks on the on button it goes off. This makes you negligent. I have never seen a gun go off. If I could buy one that would load and shoot itself that would take the fun out of shooting. 

Anyone have any suggestions or advice? This isn't going to be mine but instead for a family member of mine that due to the clothes they wear at work cannot carry IWB or OWB. They have decided that they want an ankle gun and are looking at a Galco Ankle Glove. Is this practical and what will they have to do to their clothing and everyday lifestyle to make an ankle gun work?   Now for me I'm looking at getting a DAO snub nose revolver. I am kind of leaning towards kydex and a S&W M&P 340. I'd take a 442 or 642. What options besides a clipdraw would I have for a sturdy holster? Would it just be easy to buy another Glock 19 or 26 because I can find holster for them?    I'm really just fishing for an excuse to get a new gun. If anyone can tell me their experiences with holster and carrying these guns that would be great. If i can find some good holster suggestions I can always go from there.

Trekbike, on post 9 photo 2, this is the ghost drill. It simulates having to shoot past good people. We drew our gun, put our front site on the brain, focused on the front sight, and pulled the trigger smoothly to my nose. This was a confidence building drill that shows that when the time comes for you to have to save lives it will only be you and the dirtbag. If you need any more info, I can try to explain it more.

Gear I took a Glock 34 which rode in a Bravo Concealment holster which I shot the first day with. The second day I shot a Glock 19 which rode in a Black Dog Concealment holster. I brought both a single and double mag pouch which were both Black Dog Concealment. Everything worked fine and even did my crappy 5.11 belt that I've had for two years. I had one failure to fire and two failures to lock back on my 34. No problems with the 19. Both are Gen 4. Shot 623 rounds of ammo and I brought 900 rounds of Tula. I also picked up about 175 rounds of Tula and random brass.

Day 2 Pictures I mainly have videos and cant upload them so I'm a little thin on pictures.

Day 2 Same exact routine as Day 1 (wake up, eat, etc). Went the quicker way to VR. Class was much more serious and seemed a little more laid back. We did a recap of Day 1 and covered preassault signs. Then hit the range where we did contact and close range shooting. Came back for a lecture on marksmanship then hit the range again and shot out to 50 yards. We had a working lunch and I don't think anyone brought food. Came back for another lecture on purpose. Reid also talked about Cliven Bundy and the whole Bundy Ranch standoff. He launched into a deep spirited talk about the Constitution and the state of our country. The lecture on purpose made me and everyone else rethink everything. We then hit the range for two more drills. We also did the FBI qualification which we all passed. The last drill was the Ghost drill. We then received our certificates and covered any questions we may still have. That was all we did on Day 2.
