  2. I prefer all of my shot shells to be low recoil or have slower velocities. I based this off of what my dad has told me and articles like these http://www.shotgunlife.com/shotguns/tom-roster/does-speed-kill.html But at the distance 00 would be used it probably wouldn't make a difference. I just like having a tighter pattern with buckshot so I can extend its effective range before I have to change over to a slug or draw my pistol. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. Specifically I have the low recoil ( http://www.sgammo.com/product/12-gauge-ammo/50-rd-brick-12-gauge-275-inch-federal-le13200-low-recoil-buckshot-ammo ) and what I think of as standard 00 buck ( http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/36183 ) Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. Glad to hear. I'm personally a big fan of Federal's Flite Control buckshot. It patterns stupid tight and I have a lot of it. The next time you shoot some of the Hornady make sure to take pictures. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  5. We need common sense knife reform.
  6. If you want some training go take a class from Reid and experience Valor Ridge.
  7. Hello Reid. It is nice to see you are on here. I really enjoyed Pistolcraft I in June and will be pinching my pennies to take Rifleman I.
  8. Hey it's not just you. They have terrible birds there. You're lucky if they are even set for the correct angles. It is a nice facility but the trap fields need to be set by someone who knows what ATA legal birds are.
  9. Guys I had a great time. We definitely need to do that more often.
  10. It's yellow snow. Damn global warming messing up hunting for everyone.
  11. I want a 26 and an RMR on my 19.
  12. Today's the day. Ready to go!
  13. I'll be there pretty soon. Will be parked by the gate until they officially open.
  14. We seem to be good to go. I'll be there before they open too.
  15. We should be good to go.
  16. Ready to see you all tomorrow
  17. I was too busy killing birds to post. Plus I think it was in my best interest to not post any photos. I do have a selfie.
  18. Yes it was by far the best trip I've had to go anywhere with my dad.
  19. When you get there just meet up with me before we go shooting. I'll be there when they open up so PM me when you get there. Edit: Just found out that they are having a concealed carry class on Saturday. I also haven't gotten a chance to talk to Steve but I will be calling tomorrow.
  20. They should put on the bottle that it may cause accidental or negligent discharges for legal reasons you know.
  21. Thanks guys. I'll be doing the disassembly this weekend and will be painting them sometime next week with Krylon.
  22. So I bought some AK mags and they are covered in cosmoline. The damn things are coated in it. Is the best way to remove the cosmoline in and on the mags to use mineral spirits or to put them in an oven? I haven't had to mess with cosmoline yet and I need some guidance.
  23. With how things have been going recently I'm not sure we should want this in front of the Supreme Court.
