I also finished the A.American series. While I think the series could have gone on longer I was happy with the ending. For any of you that need another book to read check out Dies Irae: Day of Wrath. Aimpoint PRO or ACO. I'm sure you can play around with some members red dots if you want to. I know personally I can get you access to a vortex, a primary arms, and some Aimpoints.
