Carrying a Handgun in TN
tennesseetiger replied to conn_air7's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have a few questions about drinking and carrying a gun in TN. Example: I go to eat dinner with my wife and have a single drink, gun is in the truck, and I drive the truck home. I'm assuming that would be breaking the law correct? Any drinking while in possession of a firearm is illegal in this state right? -
Not the biggest fan of Sean Hannity sometimes but he said something a while back that really made a lot of sense to me..."If you pay attention to politics you'll never watch a good movie and you'll never listen to good music". I have found that to be pretty accurate recently with the exception of a few.

I need them to do this with the XD SubCompact Mod 2 asap...I'm getting ready to get one. I'm not looking for a single stack because I already have one.

Sooooooooooo think they'll release it at midnight?? :stunned:

I had to help my father in law clear some downed trees behind his house a year or two ago and he had a bad run in with some yellow jackets...I was carrying wood he was cutting with the chain saw for most of the day. I was carrying a few cut up pieces and all the sudden I heard the chainsaw drop and saw him running for the lake...he was cutting through a tree and a swarm of them came out of the ground and got him pretty good. Think he got hit like 22 times or something like that before they stopped.

So I recently held one of these guns and really really liked how it felt. Trigger didnt feel too bad and I was a pretty big fan of the sights...the fact that its a double stack in a small package is also a big plus because a lot of guns that size are single stack. I'm looking for complaints, issues, or praises for this gun from anybody who owns one. Dont be shy to bash it because I haven't bought one yet lol I will more than likely be carrying this gun inside the waste band if I get one so if you have experience carrying one that info would be nice too. I'm still on the fence as to what caliber I want as well...I am huge fan of 45, but 13 rounds of 9mm without the extended mag doesnt sound bad either...thats a lot of ammo to carry in a little gun.

I really like the Tundra's and in fact its arguably the only truck "with maybe the exception of a Raptor" that I would get out of a Dodge Ram for. When I bought my new Ram last week the only other truck I was interested in was a Tundra and its because of some of the reasons you mentioned. They are nice and I've always had a soft spot for them. Diesel is a whole differnet ball game tho. Congrats on the new truck Comms and congrats on officially joining truck nation lol

Top Gear destroyed this argument between the Tundra, Ford, and Ram but GM was not included and did not have a truck to use or compete with. All 3 of them pulled a huge boeing plane "think it was a 727" with no real issues. It weighed 128,000lbs when they filmed the episode. I think the endeavor weighs like 165,000? Either way, its impressive that 1500 trucks can pull something that big...but the Tundra is not the only truck that size to do something like this. Toyota did what they always do and made a much bigger deal of it and marketed it way better. No doubt about that...

 I need that this morning.

Multiple gaming forums are talking about legit performance increases as well. Not just benchmarks like that article. I think Microsoft finally got something right lol Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

For any of you guys that use your computer for gaming, the new DirectX is supposed to be amazing. People are getting up to 85% graphic performance increases just from the Windows 10 upgrade. The older versions of DirectX did not support multi core CPU's which is insane...they supported multi core GPU's on a video card, but the older versions of DirectX only used 1 core on the CPU. The new one uses all cores that are available.

I tried the beta when it came out a while back and it looked like a tweaked version of 8.1. I already have a solid image of my desktop at home so I'll probably grab the free copy of 10 and see if I like it or not...if I dont I'll just throw my 8.1 image back on it. My macbook pro runs mac os and 8.1 but its enterprise so I probably wont be upgrading my mac to 10 anytime soon. I could probably get one through work for it but I probably wont fool with it.

My Trans Am is black so I know the truth in this statement all too well...wash, polish, wax...and 5 minutes later it looks dirty. That car is also the reason I said I would never own a black truck BUT I got one anyway lol

Need some input about Cataract Surgery???
tennesseetiger replied to bersaguy's topic in General Chat
My grandfather had the same surgery years ago and he stopped using his glasses all together after he healed up. It was pretty awesome to see how big of a difference it made. -
Do it now that it's at that screen. Not before. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

Did you hit ctrl alt delete at that screen or before it got to it? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

All computers "for the most part" have a local admin account. Here's the way to try to get in with that account. To log on to a computer as the administrator to reset a password, try the following steps. Log on as an administrator. Restart the computer. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE two times, and then type the name of the administrator user account. Note If you do not know any other administrator user account, try to type Adminstrator in the User name box. In the Password box, type the administrator password, and then click OK. Note If you do not know the administrator password, leave it blank, and then click OK. If it says you need a domain type .\ in front "administrator" and then leave the password blank. ".\" will force the computer to skip the domain request. I would assume your local admin account is still "administrator" and wasnt changed so use that as the login name.

Was this a work computer by any chance...? The fact its asking for a domain makes me ask that question because most people dont set up a personal computer on a domain.

That's how it works lol I know that all too well...
