That's the all time best western movie IMO and Henery Fonda who usually plays a good guy was a real scumbag killer in this movie. The final showdown at the end between Bronson and Fonda was a great 10 minute scene. 1. Once Upon A Time In The West 2. Outlaw Josey Wales 3. Unforgiven 4. Pale Rider/Shane 5. Open Range (One of the best shootout scenes) Best all time T.V. western? Gunsmoke

Jesse Jackson: We Are Going to March on Gun Shops
K191145 replied to QuietDan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Too many Wal-marts, too few marchers. He may organize a few "token" demonstrations and the media of course will attempt to make a big deal out of it, three days later anyone who pretended they cared will forget about it. I'm not sure how big a race war will be if it happens, maybe a few riots in black neighborhoods but I suspect that most black americans who have steady jobs and a nice home, pay their bills and raise and care for their children really don't want anything to do with a race war. The ones who will riot and attack innocent people because they're white are common drug addicted thugs or bangers. Race riots do make make white americans more suspicious around young blacks and understandingly so. It does also divide black and white relations even more. Maybe June 16th. would be a good day for a national, Buy A Box Of Ammo day. -
This story is a few days old but, http://www.newschannel5.com/story/18687905/deadly-shooting-appears-to-be-case-of-self-defense His neighbor said she was glad he defended himself although a round entered her apartment. Maybe a good, Apartment defense load/caliber topic for the handgun carry defense thread. Anyway it's good to hear about the good guy/gal defending their lives with the proper tool for the job. I don't think a big pointy stick would have worked very well, or the liberals idea of complying with bad guy and you might not get shot fantacy. In other news stories about recent murder victims, I wonder how the situation would have turned out if the victim had been armed with a gun, fair chance it would have been different. At least they would have had a fair chance.

25 People Shot in Chicago In Less Than 24 Hours
K191145 replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
For several years Memphis has been almost in a tie with Detroit as the most dangerous city in America. I believe that most all of the violent crime that happens in Memphis are in areas that most decent people stay away from. Most thugs probably don't venture out of those areas. The only reason I would have to go to Memphis would be to cross the Mississippi river going west. -
More thuggery from Obama supporters...
K191145 replied to K191145's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Of course it's Chicago, home of Hussien Obama and Eric Himmler, I mean Holder. The home of leftest terrorists like Bill Ayers who walks free and is a hero to liberals. The city where you are not allowed to defend yourself because if you're white, you deserve it even if you're an 80 year old woman. Just one more example of where we are heading, the sh!t's in flight headed towards the blades. Too bad these pieces of human garbage didn't try that in a Cracker Barrel in the south. -

With the orthepedic sugeries I have had I seriously doubt I can run faster than than most thugs so I guess i'll be standing my ground. This is just another one of those un-realistic pipe dreams that these delusional liberals have, just run away from the attacker, yeah right. Logical thinking stopped maturing in these idiots about the age of 12. Anyway, this will go nowhere in Tennessee.

For Phillip Johnson's 78th.district House seat, he's not running this time. I searched Google to find out about the 7 GOP candidates running in the primary, so far there's 2 definate "NO's". One I know and just can't bring myself to vote for, the other is Lynn Ray. On his site he say's he's a supporter of the 2nd. Amendment but also said "he never needed a gun". That tells me he would vote against pro-gun bills in the house. I can't find much info right now on the candidates and not enough info on the ones that have a site. The only possible I have marked down right now is John-Paul Wood Jr. who says on his site that he's a lifetime member of the NRA. Does anyone know anything about any of these candidates? The 78th. district covers Cheatham and parts of Dickson county. The primary candidates are, Republican: Gary Allen Binkley John L. Hains Donnie Kemp Mary Littleton Kirk Low Lynn Ray John Paul Wood Jr. Democrat: Jane R. Crisp Linda Hayes

There used to be a show called Venom E.R. filmed mostly in California, most patients were rattlesnake bite victims. One show this kid about 12 had a Black Widow bite and he looked freaking miserable with his eyelids swelling and the bite area swelling, they had him heavely drugged on pain meds but he was still in awful pain, worse than the snake bite victims. Also the anti-venom for black widows is very risky for sever allergic reactions to the anti-venom itself.

Found this in my house, I would rather have snakes than these.

But remember because open carry is allowed in TN., it may not be allowed in other states. Those links Robbiev posted will give you the info you need. I might be going to S. Dakota at the end of June, i'm definatly avoiding Illinois. Even if I stopped and locked my handgun in a case unloaded I would still be paranoid in that state. Here's another good link. Click on TN. and it will tell you the states that honor a TN. HCP. http://www.legallyarmed.com/

Mom gets 20 years for firing warning shots!?
K191145 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There's got to be more to this, if not then the judge and DA needs to be disbarred. After the example of the Martin/Zimmerman media circus you can't trust anything you read or hear from TV or an internet link. Usually there's a hint in an internet news link that tells you that the story/artical you're about to read may contain up to %75 bull s#it. The hint in this link is CBS. -
Kalifornia could be headed for an economic collapse, Governor Moonbeam's solution is to increase taxes of course, that's what a good socialist does. More reasons for more businesses to leave the Peoples Republic and relocate elsewhere. Yep, they get what they let happen, they get what they ask for. I hate it for the good people there but i'm not going to shed any tears for the Un-American liberal socialists if there economy tanks. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/13/us/huge-new-shortfall-predicted-in-california-budget.html?_r=1&hp

Two teens arrested for pellet gun incident involving bus
K191145 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The media knows that there are enough naive dolts out there who will swallow anything they report. They are often starved for real news so they over-dramatize unimportant non-news stories. I saw them break into their news cast a couple of weeks ago with critical breaking news, it was some small shed fire in N. Nashville somewhere and the F.D. already had it put out. The internet is the best way to filter the news, you can click through the usless BS and don't have to waste a half hour of your life watching it on TV. -

Didn't see your post, Terro seems to work good.

Terro liquid ant baits/killer at Lowes or Tractor supply. My sister gave me a couple of packets, she swears by it. I haven't had ants in my house this year but I had a colony in my potting shed, I opened a packet and put a line of liquid on a piece of plastic and put the packet beside it. The ants loved it, a thousand or so were at the line of liquid and I assumed they carried it back to their colony. Anyway, a week later no ants were to be found.

I have "heard" that one of the old type refrigerators makes an excellant fire safe if you want to go all redneck. Maybe hide it in the garage and wrap a chain around it with a lock. Might be a cheapo way to go.

If you have a pan in each hand, would that be considered a full auto weapon?

What's the one shooting accessory you want but can't find?

I've been carrying my SP101 .357 because of it's compactness and has some punch but i'm going to start carrying my G21 and just deal with a hot shirt in the summer. I know all handguns are really defensive so to speak but with the 13rnds of .45 in the G21, and faster reloads, I definatly consider it more of a fighting handgun than the SP101 with 5 rnds. I don't have to go to too many bad parts of town like I used to, but when I do I feel a little better with the extra firepower.
