Well from now on if I have a friend or family member who is just feeling a little down or depressed I will recommend that they absolutly NOT seek medical treatment for it, never mention anything to any doctor. Maybe we need some back ally psychologists to talk to people without any paperwork being filed. Now if it's really serious it's a different matter, I would hate to have a friend comitt suicide but I also would hate to see a friend have his/hers rights trampled because of a temorary peroid of depression.

Okay, the PDF attachment worked for me, thanks. It sounded like you were getting somewhat aggravated, remember we are all in agreement here and just as serious in protecting our rights even if we make a joke or two sometimes. I personally have never been more serious about defending my 2nd amendment rights as I am now, I believe, I KNOW my 2nd amendment rights have never been in great peril as ther are now. I also know what Obama is planning which is an all out attack to DESTROY the 2nd amendment.

Loisiana and Texas could valve off the oil pipelines heading north. -
Sombody answer this, how can they know if someone sold a firearm to a friend or family member, if they had bought the firearm before the "private sale" ban took effect? Some people may have already willed their firearms,(not on official paper), to someone in their family bought long before any P.S. ban took effect.

Tennessee house bill to push back against gun legislation
K191145 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Already got a response, sounds a little generic but she ran as a pro-2nd amendment candidate. I'm going to hold her to her word.
Dear Mr. I want to thank you for your recent email regarding the 2nd Amendment legislation that will likely come before the Tennessee General Assembly this year. As a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment, I understand your concern. Allow me to assure you, I agree that we should never infringe on this very basic right. I expect there to be a thorough and thoughtful discussion on these matters. I would expect no less of the Tennessee House of Representatives. Rest assured I remain committed to your 2nd Amendment rights, and I always welcome your thoughts and concerns. As we move forward on these issues during session, feel free to contact me with further input. Sincerely, Mary Littleton State Representative District 78
-
Tennessee house bill to push back against gun legislation

Reworded it a little and sent one to my Senator also.
Dear Representative Littleton: I am a resident of Kingston Springs, I voted for you in the last election and I am a strong supporter of the 2nd. Amendment and an NRA member. I just heard of a proposed bill, HB 0042 that would make unconstitutional federal gun laws unenforceable in the state of Tennessee. I am asking you to please support this bill and strongly urge your fellow Reps to do so, we need to send a strong message to D.C., along with many other states who have already introduced bills affirming their right and duty to defend the constitution and 2nd Amendment. Thank You name
-

There's got to be some"ammo" the states have economically to use against the federal government if it comes to it. -

I can see Michigan, at least the people and not their politicians. It's a little like Illinois, Detroit pretty much controls the state like Chicago controls Illinois. -

This time we could add a few states, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, N & S. Dakota, don't forget the great red state of Oklahoma either. Plus a few more. Oh and Alaska. -

Great, more states are stepping up. There will be more, I predict Alaska, Oklahoma, Montana to soon come up with their own legislation supporting the 2nd Amendment.

It's been a few years since I filled out a 4473, alot of my purchases were a money transaction and a handshake. :)

They just have to remember what happened back in 94 when we "cleaned house", I bet Obama is getting pressure to back off from some Dem Reps, especially from some of the more gun-friendly states.

I really believe the Obamatrons got a wake up call when they started talks of bans and registrations etc., then witnessing all the "newbies" and oldies completly drain most the products of an entire industry in just a month, and I bet alot more pro-freedom minded people like us are making a big serious stance of resistance in telling their Reps what they think, more then we realize. I think "they" are realizing that the gun-control they wish for is going to cost them a crap load of problems they don't want. That and James Yeager scared the hell out of them. :)
