I'm trying to figure out how he can shoot himself in the leg with a 91/30.
-
Notice that he said it was a 12 guage and inserted a yellow shell.

Fake fake fake. Why would he make a video being an idiot, then upload to the internet afterwords?

Thanks again, I am already thinking about a smaller knife made from a carbon steel circular saw blade, that should be some good steel. I.ve got a good Makita grinder I would like to find a good cutting disc for, that Dremal wont do the job on thicker metal, it took a loooong time and many discs just to cut a thin saw. Cutting it out with a grinder shouldn't overheat the steel, I keep a wet rag to cool it down after I cut a little. I know I can buy quality knives or machete but it's kind of satisfying to make something yourself. I just need to practice patients and not feel that I have to rush things.

I've heard some good steel to use for making a knife is a leaf spring from a vehicle. Sounds like a lot of hard work, it would be nice to have a lathe and a milling machine. I took a metal class in high school, I sometimes I had advanced my education in that area.

Thanks, I was thinking more of a survival tool with the saw blade, I know those survival shows, Duel Survival, Survivor Man, etc. are sometimes silly but I still like to watch some of them, that's where I got the motivation and mainly just for fun. I wonder how to fuse two blades together to make it more ridged. I do some leather work, I can make things a little more fancy but i,ve never had the patients, I want to make something fast but at least I make it functional.

Always wanted to make a machete or knife so a few weeks ago I bought an old hand saw at a yard sale for $3, used a pack of Dremal cutting discs to cut it out, had a piece of cherry for the handle and sanded and blued it. Kept the saw teeth on top, cut a clip on top, made the sheth last night. It's a little flexable even for a machete but I made it just for the fun of it, probably will never use it for anything. I might try a smaller knife from a circular saw blade someday.

Yea i've bought a few things at the Sportsman Store, they could also have more of a choice in ammo. Is BB&Js still around in Dickson? They used to be one of the big ammo dealer at the Goodman shows.

New parking lot law takes effect Monday, July 1

Well it's July 1st. Where can I go today and keep my gun in my vehicle? I think i'll swing through the kingston Springs city park later on, Wednesday i'm driving my mom for an appointment at St. Thomas. Hey, i'll go to the court house parking area in Ashland City, roll down my window and start yelling, I'VE GOT A GUN, I'VE GOT A GUN. :) Naa I think i'll pass on that one. -
Well i'm not too woried about it myself, i'll just not take a stroll down Jefferson St. the day the verdict is read. It might be advisable for white folks not to drive trucks in Watts either. If they do riot and burn their own hoods it will at least make for some good TV.

I would like to see that law. If a company ever went so far as to use dogs, I would make up a solution of burned powder residue and gun oil in a spray bottle and spray every vehicle in the lot. -

If this dude really is a LEO I would inform him he is deserting his oath and showing Un-American contempt for the constitution and he has no business wearing a badge in the U.S.A. I would advise him if he wishes to continue as a LEO that he move and become a citizen of Cuba or maybe China. -

Sorry, :) On the internet that dude is a bad ass ninja and the smartest, best looking man on the planet. I never take anyone seriously making wild claims online, the dude the OP was talking about is likely a disgruntled ex-cop or a wannbe, I do believe he's the type to say stupid things just to make people mad and get attention for himself. Typical troll. -

They may break company policy but at least they aren't breaking the law, it would be so simple for anyone who keeps a gun in their vehicle to keep it out of sight and not tell anyone, no one, nadda. Not your best friend, brother, sister not anyone at all, if asked, lie. -

I would think that the private business in question would have to either tell you to leave their property verbally, or have signage that specifically stated that anyone with a gun in their vehicle is not welcome on their property and will be charged with tresspassing. Somewhere the word tresspassing has to be used. -

From what I understand a permit holder can't be charged with a crime if he or she leaves their gun in their vehicle in the parking area of a business that prohibits guns, or city or state property. However if an employer finds out they have a gun in their vehicle they can still fire the employee. -

Well all I can do is interpret it the best I can, i'm not the person who lets people know I have a gun in my vehicle anyway. I do know that any federal property is still prohibited but I believe I remember hearing a law maker saying the law applies to all state and city property. Of course he may have been mistaken. -

This. I wouldn't doubt if there's other reasons some companies would want to search your home. Anyway, I would pick up aluminum cans off the road or mow lawns before I would work for a company like that. -

I know the law doesn't go far enough to protect employees but I do like the fact that I can't be charged with a crime if I have my gun in my vehicle in places that prohibit guns, especially city parks that opted out of the carry in parks law and places like hospitals ect. The law is not all we want maybe but it's a start. How about a law prohibiting employers from requiring searches of employees private property, home and vehicles?
