Please Mr. Obama leave us alone !!! Egyptian people
K191145 replied to ted's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Man I was waiting to hear that, I would like to see us completly divorce the middle east except to help protect Isreal. Tell China and Russia they can have the middle east if they want it including Saudia Arabia. We will save our aid money we give those countries and expand Isreals missle defense system and give them a nuclear sub stocked with 50 or so medium range nukes, Isreal in turn will provide us with intelligence of anyone planning to attack us in some way. With all the oil we get from TX and the gulf there has to be alot more oil in Mexico, pressure the Mexican government to open more land to oil companies and private drillers and have a good ol fasion oil boom in Mexico, jobs for Mexicans in Mexico and a solid contract to sell to America at a fair price. Of course I know i'm dreaming, with the politicians we elect that will never happen. -
Chicago is the perfect city for a police state expierment, my guess is that violence and murders will actually get worse and eventually the people wont tolerate it. Like you said maybe it will wake some liberals up when their rights get crapped on, they will see their heros for what they really are.

Guns in parking lots - Now OK at the local Post Office?
K191145 replied to Machman's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Even so it's up to the locals to arrest you, I doubt if there's very many federal LEOs hanging out at all the POs. I don't know of any locals who have a personal vendetta against me so i'm not worried about it, I never carry it inside the actual building. If I go to the VA doctor I definatly leave it at home though. -
Northern Colorado to be 51st state?
K191145 replied to Tedro2022's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Of course putting a million or even half that much in jail is a ridiculas thought, especially if those people had the courage not to allow themselves to be put in jail. "Someday", it may take stirring the pot a little if you want real change but i'm not seeing too many Americans with the courage to do that. Someday, it may take putting yourself at a finacial or physical risk. No matter what anyone thinks of Snowdon and what he did, he did at least has some balls and willingness to sacrifice his personal welfare to do what he did. If no ones willing to take a risk then they will just have to take whatever the governments tell them to take. -

K191145 replied to Machman's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That is good to know, I have a P.O. Box and a box at my driveway. Most everything goes to the PO box to prevent punks from stealing mail which does happen, the box at the end of my driveway is because anything addressed to my street address used to be sent back by the PO even though they knew who it went to. -
Northern Colorado to be 51st state?
K191145 replied to Tedro2022's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'm just guessing but there's probably a million+ residents in those counties in North Colorado, they could start the process by refusing to pay Colorado state income taxes. -
Keep your booger hook off the bang switch. I hear ya, I tell anyone I give advice to about firearms and safety to "practice" safe gun handling just as you would practice accuracy or anything else related to firearms. Make safety a "habit", muzzle pointed in a safe direction and finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot your target. Make safety such a habit where you don't have to even think about it, it's automatic. Guns don't discharge by themselves in a gun accident, the trigger is pulled unintentionally. I'm no firearms expert but you don't have to be to be a safe shooter to be at the range with.

Someone is trying to one-up Gunderwear

A real woman would have hid at least a Glock 26. -
To keep bears away they say to carry pepper spray and wear those little bells on your shoes to make noise while hiking. You can tell what kind of bears there are around by looking at their dung piles. A black bear will have berries and fur from small animals like rabbits in their dung, Grizzly bear dung will have little bells and smell like pepper.

Still a good movie and a good shootout scene even though some of it was hoaky. -

That was actually entertaining in a comical way. If she would have had a .45 instead of a .38 she would have killed him with one shot. :) -

I don't know if the .475 Linebaugh was around then but I believe there was a revolver chambered in .45-70 How about the Bond movies where he drops villians instantly with a PPK? Or Death Wish #1 where Charles Bronson drops all those muggers with a .32 -

They are, at least have the reputation of being one of the most reliable semi-auto/auto rifles there is along with a Glock handgun. I have shot a few thousand rounds through my MAK-90 and Glock-21 without a single malfunction. -

It would have to be ammo related. -

Remember the scene in Leathal Weapon #? where someone fires a 9mm with those cop killer armor pericing rounds and puts nice clean holes in a bull doizer blade? Also, old westerns that's supposed to be pre or civil war era and they all have SAA's. -
We all know movies and firearms is seldom if ever accurate and often downright stupid, magizines called clips, guns called by different names, i've always thought it was funny when someone has been confronting someone else for 5 minutes and then decides to chamber a round(rack the slide), for dramatic effect. Last night I watched a repeat of "Back To The Future" and noticed on of the most stupid Hollywood gun mistakes I have ever seen, it was where the Libyan's in the van shot doc and were trying to shoot Marty with an AK and they actually had the AK jam on them. Have you ever heard of anything more absurd? Anyway, what's your favorite Hollywood stupid firearms scenes? Like I said, mine is when someone has been chasing someone for minutes, then corners them, then chambers a round, and the old classic of revolvers having 50 chambers in their cylinders.

Missed protesting the Nashville MAIG rally!!!!

I was thinking about a bucket of KFC. -
I know there are millions of background checks every year but I wouldn't doubt that some government official's/organization's would abuse that information against someone who may be a very vocal critic of the government or belong to a conservative or patriot onganization etc. All they would need is a name to see if they had a background check done on them, don't know what they would do with the info but I wouldn't put it past the little devious bastdids to use it as a vendetta in some way.

K191145 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
When I saw the news coverage of the rally I had to laugh, it looked like they could only put together about 40 people and had them all bunched together to make it look like a crowd. I wouldn't bother protesting them here in Tennessee because they are ineffective, no one really cares like the million mom march a couple of years back. Same thing, they had about 50 people it looked like, even the media couldn't spin it enough to make it seem that they were actually making some difference. Now if they had a PETA protest I might go to that one, sometimes they have cute women in skimpy outfits, sometimes topless. :) -
Cool saw, I would have to get into serious metal work to justify buying something like that. I tried a metal blade in a recipricating saw but all that did was dull the blade quick.

Thanks, I had the idea of a rubber handle made from a piece of an old tire tread but when I cut a test piece out I couldn't smooth out the wire belt enough to keep it from poking through into your hand. The sidewall was too thin.

New "pro-gun" group? Not really-- they support MAIG

The little decietful liars have done this before. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2003085/posts All we can do is get the truth out to everyone we know, I may send an e-mail to Phil Valentine later on. -
http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2013/07/senators-demand-answers-about-illegal-gun-registry-from-nsa-2700984.html Everybody knows that all background check information when someone makes a firearm purchase is "SUPPOSED" to be deleted 24 hours after the check, it's the law. Does anybody really believe that? How easy would it be to transfer that info on some hidden database? I know the law says data is supposed to be deleted in 24 hours but we all know the government doesn't give a rats glutious maximus about following the law. I'll put my tin foil hat on and say all that background check info from years back is still out there and retrievable by the government. Does anyone know of a dealer who has had the ATF come in and demand copies or the actual 4473 form? I would think it would be alot easier to transfer background check data.
