Hmmm? I guess it's a case of someone re-posting a video without giving credit to the original poster on Youtube.

Last I heard, there are 80+million of us mentally unstable gun owning terrorists. Probably a few million new ones since Lord Obama was elected.

Good news for Liberals.....The Ship Is Sinking.
K191145 replied to Randall53's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Unfortunatly, a 30s era type depression may be the only thing to wake some people up. It's not that the liberal media is fooling so many people to believe everything is hunky dory, it's that many many people "WANT" to be fooled, they don't want to hear or see any bad things with our country even though it is reality, they will cover their eyes and ears and mouths just like the three monkeys hoping that nasty reality will magically dissappear. Well it's not and it's going to hit them hard some day, it's not a matter of if but when. I personally don't wish it but I know it's comming down the road, I believe that I will weather it a little better than most. -
I have several ski masks I might start wearing, wonder if Walmart customers would profile me.

Stevie Wonder won't sing in any state with stand your ground laws

I'll have to put Stevie Wonders boycott on my who gives a crap shelf. -
I would think there was something wrong with a guy in a 3 piece suit hanging around a dark alley too, I might profile him as a mafia hit man. :) I have worn a hoodie when it was "COLD" but not for style, i've seen people wearing hoodies when it was 80 degrees outside, it just makes me believe they are trying to hide their face.

It prevents you from walking down a dark ally with 5 people loitering at the end of it.

Since this Zimmerman/Martin case started I was thinking about the issue of profiling. I think it's in our instinctive nature to profile people, I do it often, sometimes it's about race and sometimes it's not. I am pretty sure that now most of us will profile a group of blacks standing around somewhere as angry and ready to mess with a white person so you and I will probably avoid them in some way, I don't think that's racist or an irrational fear but just being cautious with all the tension going on lately. But, the other day I profiled a group (3) of young white dudes at a Dollar General as possible punks because of their dress and vehicles which is kinda funny because the way I dress can be profiled as redneck by some. When I was in high school I had long hair and wore rock band t-shirts and drove a 72 Duster, one day I was pulled over by a Cheatham Co. deputy for going 4 mph over the limit and I know it was less, he checked my D.L. and even reached in my car and looked in my ash tray and looked around inside my car, i'm sure he was profiling me as a pot head. No ticket, he just wanted to see if I had pot in the car because of the way I looked, and friends of mine were profiled in the same way back then, I didn't like it but now I can understand it a little. I just wish they had a better reason to pull people over. I also saw some scraggly looking dude not long ago walking up the street towards my driveway when I was going to the store, I went down the street a little and turned around and came back home, he was just walking up the street but to me he looked the profile as someone up to no good, he was also white. I think people who get all bent out of shape when they hear about profiling someone because of the way they look profile to a certain degree themselves, I do believe it's natural and at least to me it's more about someones appearance than their race although i'm avoiding groups of young black males for a while.

I fear that for most all ammo. Down at the hardware store in White Bluff there's a couple of boxes of S&W .38 Long, or was it .32 Long? If it were 1935 I might have a need for it.

Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!

Here's what we have in my hood. :) -
Now i'm going to be worried about having an irrational fear all the time.

Not only George Zimmerman but his family also, there are enough low-life elements out there that would go for his family if they couldn't get to him. Robbie Zimmerman i'm afraid is in danger now especially since he's been interviewed and scumbags around the country know who he is.

Pot smokers are celebrating everywhere.

The fear of being in Walmart with a brand new HCP and someone seeing the bottom of your holster and calling the Seals that will rapel from heliocopters on top of you, beat you and hogtie your hands and feet and throw you in prison for 40 years.

Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!
K191145 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well we are still talking about the federal govt., they can magically take weak evidence and turn it into earth shattering evidence, they can even make evidence appear out of thin air if they want. It was political pressure from the race baiters including the race baiter in chief that pressured the state to charge GZ in the first place, not credible evidence, and the same race baiters will pressure some federal prosecutor to charge GZ with a civil rights violation criminal charge. It may not happen, it shouldn't happen, but I wouldn't be shocked or surprised if it did, nothing surprises me from this administration. -
Well i'm not going to fire a rifle or pistol round straight in the air even though I don't think it will kill you but i'm pretty sure that if you are hit in the head by a watermelon tossed from a Cessna at 1000' it will kill you. Don't ask me how I know that. No i've never hit anyone in the head with a watermelon from 1000'

Kinda like the commercial except they are ratings suckers instead of rate suckers. It takes a lowlife IMO to exploit a child like that for your personal political opinion and that's what this Zimmerman case has been all about. Politics. As far a CNN goes, it's a group political opinion. -

Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!
K191145 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The feds did that a few times in the 60s, if they try it now I would think they will have to prove there was a racial motive in GZ killing TM. GZ didn't lynch TM from a tree in a town square in Mississippi so logically the feds can't prove racism. BUT, logic and reality doesn't mean squat today with the federal government so anything can happen. -
Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!

This decision proves that you have the right to defend yourself if someone is slamming your head in the ground. How it all started really doesn't matter once the attack starts. If the DA wanted some kind of conviction he should have brought up a charge of some kind of negligent homicide if he could prove the GZ started the confrontation but not 2nd degree murder or even manslaughter. It was ultimatly TM's fault for attacking GZ, he didn't just punch him and walk away, he got on top of him and slammed his head into the concrete. -
Zimmerman Trial: Verdict Reached!

What are the odds that Obama is talking to holder about the possibility of a federal charge of violating Martins civil rights, like the government used to do in the 60's? BTW, it was the correct verdict. -
http://www.loadammo.com/Topics/March01.htm Based on the results of these tests it was concluded that the bullet return velocity was about 300 f.p.s. For the 150 gr. bullet this corresponds to an energy of 30 foot pounds. Earlier the Army had determined that, on the average, it required 60 foot pounds of energy to produce a disabling wound. Based on this information, a falling 150 gr. service bullet would not be lethal, although it could produce a serious wound.

Not defending anyone shooting in a dangerous direction, in a populated area it's stupid and dangerous to fire a gun "at an angle" into the air. If you must shoot a gun into the air for any reason be sure to to fire it "straight up" where the bullet will loose all velocity, stall and freefall back to earth. It's not lethal then.Personally I don't shoot up in the air, I have shot shotguns with cheap skeet or bird loads "straight up" in the past to celebrate the 4th or New Years but I don't want to waste ammo anymore.
