If I have learned anything about these stories over the last couple of years is, not to speculate about anything the media says. It's going to take a few days or more to find out a truthful fact about this incident. But, I guess I can wonder, being a military base where M-4's,M-16's and M-92's are stored and security carries them and the possibility of a converted jihadist. I'm not speculating that's what happened because I have no idea, it's just happened before so I threw it out. All we can do is feel bad for the families of those who were killed.

Nashville has been invaded by yuppie liberals wanting to flee their original sh!thole and make Nashville a liberal sh!thole. Good thing Nashville is not big enough to control the entire state like Chicago, NYC etc. etc.

Where I live in Kingston Springs they keep shifting the boundry from the 5th. to 7th. district, so far i'm still in the 5th which is fine because Blackburn is going to win anyway so I would rather vote against Cooperlosie in the 5th district. Problem is that Nashville has been invaded by liberals which is most of his district however I will continue to vote against Cooper as long as i'm in the 5th district.

As far as i'm concerned it's no contest, they should add it on the state flag. :) It's definatly "one of the most" bad a$$ shoulder fired firearms there is and it's pure Tennessee. I know there is some old 20mm's out there but they don't count.

That in itself disqualifies her from winning or even getting into the finals with the type of ultra-liberal judges these contests have. She probably knows it which makes her not only smarter than all the rest but more principaled.

Like quite a few here my username is named after a gun I had at the time, a Kimber 1911 .45. K191145 sounds better than the other name I considered, "Twenty dollar yard sale Rhom .22 single action with a missing ejector".

If you can't buy realy made weapons then you have to invent your own. Didn't look like a propane explosion though. I wonder if that was really a government outpost or some dudes apartment.

I have one of those fat rats under my tool shed, he/she ate many of my cucumbers and small watermelons this year. At one time I set up a live trap and baited it with cucumber, carrot, and a piece of apple. I have a place to re-locate him/her near a creek but all I caught was ants. My cucumbers have already played out for the season so fat rat can stay for a while I guess. I just hope fat rat isn't a female full of little fat rats. It's hard to get close and to get them to stay still for a good pic.

I'm usually an anti-tax person in favor of lowering taxes when possible but I might be for a big raise in tarrifs or taxes on most all imports from China even though some big companies might be against taxing their cheap crap they get from China. We have to be able to hurt China economically, we all know we can't pick up any item in our homes without a "made in China" sticker on it. I guess it's big business and big profits is the reason we buy cheap slave labor products from them instead of paying Americans to make the same stuff, it's just hard to see why China owns much of our debt and controls the manufacturing of products America needs and wants, there's something seriously wrong with that. I can see what you are saying about Mexico, I always thought they needed a good ol revolution to kick their corrupt government out but revolution winners in South and Central America usually are hard line communists, at least if that happened we would be pretty muched forced to build border fences and fortify the border with military. It would be nice to see Mexicans working in Mexico instead of crossing the border illegally, oil is the only resorce they have pretty much. I don't just want to be energy independent but I would like to see energy prices at least cut in half, that would be probably a big boost in our economy. I haven't heard the word OPEC in a while or whatever it's called now, It would be great if they wern't in control of what a barrel of oil costs. Like I said though, it's just a pipe dream right now, there would have to be a big change in our political enviorment. -

Well I know it's a pipe dream as long as the Muslim Marxist is in the oval office, we would have to take back control of America first. I know Muslims and Marxists don't quite jive but give Obama credit for inventing it. -

I would like to see America completly divorce ourselves from the entire middle east except Isreal, build the pipeline from Canada, build a few more refineries here, drill in ANWAR, N.Dakota and give Mexicans jobs drilling oil in MEXICO under contract that Mexican oil companies sell us oil at a set price if we help them get started. Become completly energy independent from the rest of the world. Pull all military and embassy's out of Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia, with the billions we save in not sending aid to these countries, spend a few dollars re-inforcing Isreal's wall and missle defense and give them about 100 short to medium range "tactical" nuclear missles. For our appreciation to Mr. KGB Putin for warning us about the terrorists who detonated pressure cookers at the Boston marathon before they did it and we didn't listen, and his good advice about not arming America hating terrorists in Syria, I would tell him and China that they can have any and all those sand boxes in the middle east if they want them and we will not stand in their way. As far as Countries like Iran threatening us and Isreal, I would make a few ICBM's filled with leaflets in Persian and arabic telling the people in a few cities that we will not tolerate supported terrorist attacks against us or chemical or nuclear attacks on Isreal or the next ICBM wont contain leaflets or flyers, launch them from Nebraska just to show how easy we can do it. -
Obama offers new gun control steps

Christie is a gun grabbing lying commie who pretends to be a conservative which makes him more dangerous in many ways like a traitorous double agent. He could actually get federal gun-control legislation passed with all the rino's in congress. -

Pincus suggests verbally warning home invader
K191145 replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Amen brother. I'm not trying to sound like a bad azz, just stating my opinion and what I plan to do pretty much like you are. Lets say I did give a warning to some thug who forced his way into my home, scared him away and later he chose an easier target like some elderly man or woman and killed them. If I knew it was the same thug I personally would feel some guilt that I allowed a killer to get away. Now I know it's not my responsibility to protect everyone, just me and family in my home but any thug brazen enough to force their way through a locked door is a killer as far as i'm concerned. Well' he may just want some money or your TV, BULL HOCKEY, he's there to kill me and my family period, no ifs and or butts about it. Like you said, it's 100% their fault if they get themselves killed, they asked for it and they earned it and I will consider myself morally justified if I have to shoot some thug home invader. Defending yourself and your family is not only a legal or moral right, it's a natural instinct, morality is not even in question. Just hearing recent news about thugs shooting babies in the face or killing 88 year old men or joggers because they were board should make anyone assume some criminal home invader is a killer trying to kill them. -
Try to find a Polish M-44 if you can, they have the best, smoothest finishes of any Mosin i've ever seen. They also have the smoothest action, at least as far as Mosins go.

Your right, it's an automatic assumption that if someone forces their way into your home that you are in fear for your life, it's pretty much a permit to shoot first ask questions later scenerio and if I were a betting man, i would bet the farm most all Tennessee DA's will see it that way, maybe not some New York DA but they have no say in Tennessee. Even though most thugs are stupid I believe they are at least smart enough to know if they break through a locked door with the residents at home they may have to kill one or all of them and most don't care. They are the ones at fault if they get themselves killed, I or anyone else have no legal or moral duty or responsibility to run and hide in our own home, they are fully responsible for whatever happens. That one or two seconds it takes to "warn" them are valuble seconds, seconds that may give them time to shoot you, i'm not wasting those seconds. My life and the life of family members are far more valuble to me than the thugs life, if he/she didn't want to die that day then they shouldn't have forced their way into your home. I don't want that to happen but if it did some day I believe I will find a way to live with my decision. -

All my doors are locked with a deadbolt and the knob lock, it would take a violent action to breach them including comming through a window. If that happens I know it's not a mistake from some drunk woman at the wrong house, or a relative or friend, it's definatly a home invasion from violent persons intending to do me physical harm or kill me. I absolutly "PLAN" not to give them any chance or time to do anything. As far as the state goes, if they breach my locks or windows and force their way into my home i'm confident they will see it as a justifiable shooting, it was that way before the castle law in Tennessee. -

I'm going to make an ASSUMPTION if a home invader forces their way into my home, i'm going to assume that they are there to kill me and my family and I plan not to wait for them to tell me their intentions. I may verbally warn them while i'm shooting them, i'll warn them that I will continue shooting them if they don't fall down on the floor. I'm not making any other assumptions that they will stop or run away if I warn them, i'm not taking any chances that they will comply. -

My carry gun is always chambered, it's also my bedside gun and remains chambered. Now I have an 870 close by that I keep the tube full but don't have chambered, but I plan on defending my home with my handgun. There may be a situation where i'll grab the shotgun, it makes me feel better to have it close by anyway.

I guess i'm a Scottish-English-German-American. I think i'll start writing that down on every form I fill out from now on. I'll abbreaveate it, a SEG-American and let them figure it out. -
I thought I got a good deal when I bought mine in 95 for $400, w/4-30 rnd mags along with 500 rnds of 7.62x39. I bought it because Bill Clinton didn't believe I should own one. :)

I traded a Kimber CC 1911 in to get my G21, even though I call it a big black brick, unlike my Kimber which I enjoyed very much my G21 went bang and chambered a new round every time. EVERY TIME for 13 rounds instead of 8. I have only had the one Glock and i'm a .45ACP addict but I feel secure with it more than any other semi-auto i've ever owned. Here's a good video of a G21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfzQ4uKvE7c
