  1.   i'm using it on a regular mouse pad now, before I used it on the desk but it was making marks on it.
  2.   You didn't say if that was a hollow point +P egg, they will definatly do alot of damage.
  3.   It's wired into the computer. It's not an old wheel mouse, it has the laser light.
  4.   It was hard to find the right holster for it. It does have a little better penatration than the 9mm and a little more stopping power than the .45.
  5. Glock 21SF loaded: 38.5 oz.   Ruger SP101 .357mag. loaded: 26 oz.     Barrett Model 82A1 .50BMG: 32lbs.
  6.   I'm sure he means California leftest hippy types hates Hummers, they have burned them at lots before, they blame them on gloable warming.
  7.   It's an HP w1907 flat screen, about 7 years old.  It seems to be doing fine today, it will just happem at random.
  8.   I think i'm at least 150 miles from you, i'm not to far from Nashville. I believe you're close to Sommerville TN. Many years ago I used to skydive at West Tn. Skydiving not too far away from Sommerville. I'm going to try what Guarfu said and see how that works tomorrow.
  9.   I'll do that, never went into the moniter menue before, i'll check it out when I have some time tomorrow. Thanks.
  10.   Wellll, I do have an older one but it's been sitting in a shed exposed to dust and tempature swings. Might try some family members.
  11. I have an older HP with Windows Vista, a while back I had to send it to the computer doc to heal it from many viruses and spyware. Sometimes long before that and it still happens now sometimes the site im looking at will have jerky movements and so will my mouse, even solitare when i'm not online. I usually delete all temp files, run CC Cleaner and re-start my computer. That usually seems to work but not every time. Just a while ago I did all that and re-started my computer and it didn't work, still jerky movements,(sorry for all the high tech jargon), then just on a whim I turned off my moniter and back on and that fixed it. I'm assuming there's memory chips and operating circuits and such in my moniter but I never hear about or no one has ever told me to re-start my moniter to fix a problem, just my computer. So I guess what i'm asking is what would re-starting your moniter does and what causes those jerky movements of my mouse and videos ect.?
  12.   I voted inside the Pegram City Hall/Fire Dept. building, there are no signs there but I bet if I asked they would say it's off limits.
  13.   There was some movie or tv show, don't remember but some girl from up north was visiting her sister down south and took a big gulp of her sweetened tea. She almost gagged and said, "this is liquid diabetes".   Southern accents are a mix of many different accents from around the world, i've noticed that the English use the word "recon", i've even heard James Bond say it. When I say the word "school", I pronounce it "schooweel" or something like that. Southerners know what i'm saying but i've noticed in some movies that Irish people will pronounce it that way. Pool,(pooeewl) etc.
  14.   I don't remember reading if a HCP holder can wear their handgun at an election poll, i'll check out  handgunlaw.us
  15.   See now, somebody who can't or doesn't drive might still have a HCP which might be the only state issued photo ID they have. If they have questions it's a good opportunity to educate a poll worker. No, I do not have my handgun on me in the building but I do have it locked in my vehicle which is legal now in Tennessee weather it's city, state, or school property.
  16. Went ahead and mailed it yesterday, I called and they said a new photo wouldn't be on my DL if I took a new one for my HCP. I wish they would combine your DL and HCP and have them renewed at the same time. Of course not everybody who has a HCP drives so they would be issued a seperate HCP. I'm assuming that your photo HCP is an official ID that can be used to vote.
  17. "Supposin' I was to go to work and learn how to... to read writin'. Well, how'd I know the feller that... who wrote the writin' was writin' the writin' right? See it could be that he wrote the writin' all wrong. Here I'd be just a readin' wrong writin', don't ya see? You probably been doing it your whole life, just a readin' wrong writin' And not even knowin' it." ~Festus Haggen~
  18. The southern old timers would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it, take you in and feed you, help you get your tractor out of the mud, just plain good ol southern hospitality. Now if you didn't like or complained how they do something or how they dress, or how they talked the old timers used to have a saying they would tell the rude yankees. "GO F#*K YOURSELF". That's what I pretty much tell them today. :)
  19.   And I always thought iced tea was so popular in the south because it can get soo freaking hot here.
  20.   I was fishing through some older "Gun Tests" magizines and found this review of 3-.22 magnum rifles in the July 2009 edition. They reviewed the Ruger 10/22 magnum which they said was discontinued, they gave it a "C" grade and was dissapointed in it's accuracy. They reviewed the Henery model H001M .22magnum, gave it a "B" grade and also said they were dissapointed in it's accuracy. Then they reviewed the Marlin 983S stainless steel .22magnum and gave it an "A-" grade, 12 shot tube fed bolt action. They said it had good accuracy, it has a nice looking laminated stock, just a good looking rifle. Here's the link on it, like I said this edition of GT magizing was 2009.   http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/22WinMagnum/983S.asp
  21.   Thanks for the clairification. I guess I can admitt I own a slapjack now but don't carry it. It's currently a keepsake I guess. :) I would however like to carry it, it's kind of big though. If the law ever changed since I play around with leather sometimes I could make a smaller type, an old 30s gangsters type and fill it with birdshot. I would also seek some training from a defense expert to learn how to use one without being leathal with it if I didn't have to.
  22.   Who was the sponcer of the bill to lift knife restrictions? What about Campfield, would he be interested in a bill to lift restrictions on impact weapons? A good letter explaning that some people who do not wish to carry a firearm may want to protect themselves with a baton or some kind of club type weapon. I actually think that may get some support. Explain to them some may not be able to afford a class, and, it is very difficult to find a class that will certify someone to carry an impact weapon.
  23. I read some of the law and it used the word possession as well as carrying, it seems the language technically makes it an offense to even own a baton, even if it's in a drawer in your home but you can or could buy batons and slapjacks in Tennessee at gun shows etc. Like auto-knives before the law change, the way it read it was illegal to even own one even if you never carried it. Maybe someone could clarify that for me.
  24. Well the state legislature lifted knife restrictions, passed a bill not to charge a person who doesn't have a HCP to carry a loaded firearm in their vehicle, so I guess the next step is to pressure them to lift restrictions on carrying impact weapons and brass knuckles. That would be an option for some who don't have a HCP and want some protection.
  25.   Dude is wearing that cheese burger body armor also. :D
