  1. Sorry for your loss David, I know what a heartbreak that is loosing a good loyal friend in a dog.
  2. Those range owners are a bunch of shotgun racists.
  3. I guess if SHTF I would have my ol trusty MAK90 ready with 5-30 rnd mags loaded in my E.German ammo bag/pouch. Well 4 in the bag and one in the gun. If I had the bucks right now I would buy either a M1A SOCOM, and many mags and a few K of ammo, or the Ruger SR7.62 with mags and ammo. I would like the extra power and reach of the 7.62 NATO/.308 and of course a good optical scope mounted so that you can also use your iron sights. Right now I feel decently armed with an AK and a Glock21. At least I don't have to fuss with cleaning equipment and those ridiculas malfunction drills. :)
  4.   I like watching the show because it was about guns, that's the one and only reason. I remember the episode you're talking about, I believe all these shows, so-called reality shows are about 80+% scripted. I would bet that smoke grenade in the tank was planned and Steph's practiced her lines before they set it off, just added drama for the viewers. I think pro wrestling is more honest than these shows, at least they admit they are scripted entertainment. Unfortunatly, the reality of the show and it's main star seems to be pretty sad right now, i'll withold complete judgement on Hayden right now but it sure looks like he did it and if he did, he's a low life child rapist who should never see the outside gate of a maximum security prison. He leaves in a box some day.
  5.   Wonder how their little ad campaign has been working out for them, to me it sounds like they are desperate to get businesses to move in. Probably smart businessmen and women know better than to trust (promises) from the government of New York.
  6.   Actually the one I have read pretty close to what my local pharmicist read with the old school method and pretty close to what the reading at the VA was but they also use a digital. The one I have did get me to the doctor, I can always have the local pharmacy check it again.
  7.     So let me get this straight, they demended release of all customers who bought rifles that were legal under their new law? That's proof to me that they are not satisfied untill they have a complete ban on all firearms peroid. That also strengthens my vow to never go to any of those states for any reason.
  8. Hey, 137/85 just a while ago, i'll take that over what it has been.
  9.   I was told that Lisinopril will actually make you retain potasium and the HTZ will offset that. I was told not to take any potasium suppliments. Now my mom has to take potasium but she takes Bumex which is stronger than HTZ. I have another appointment in one month and they are going to take a blood sample and see how my dose is working. I checked my BP an hour ago and it was 166/89 so the first dose did do something, that's high but it's not 175/102 like it was this morning.
  10.   If you want a quick natural diuretic, drink 1/2 cup of apple cider vinigar, I guarntee that will work. Don't know how but it does.
  11. Anybody have to take that for high BP?   I got put on that yesterday, for some reason my BP decided to jump up to an average of 170/100, it was kinda on the borderline before that but that was a big jump. My dad had cronic high BP which he had to take meds for. Anyway I took the first dose this morning and it hasn't brought it down that much if hardly any. Should it work instantly or does it take a few days is what I want to know? The dose is a low one, 10mg/12.5mg. It hasn't made me tired or dizzy but I sure have to pee alot. (TMI)?
  12.   It would probably be a bad idea to hold your gun out the window to show him also.    Naa, i'll probably just have my HCP ready with my DL to show him/her. My ultimate plan is to avoid getting pulled over in the first place.
  13.   NICS is the only source they could get any info from that I can think of unless the ATF has records from gun stores sales but that would be no different than NICS.
  14.   You wont get a nasty look from me, you'll get a thank you.
  15. I know many of us here believe the charges in his case should have been dropped and never filed because he didn't violate any firearms laws and I still believe that. That being said, the day this clown does violate a law that is actually on the books and legitimatly charged with a crime i'll celebrate along with everyone else. I would love to be that little devil on his shoulder that says in his ear, that cop is in your face, go ahead and shove him back away from you. I don't condone shoving LEO's but I would bet the LEO he shoved wouldn't mind that at all. I'm all for getting this idiot off the street and out of the media but it has to be legit or it will just be dropped again and he will be back in the news.
  16.   Well apparently LEO's don't really care about people going 2 to 3 mph over the speed limit and since i've become an old fart i'm the one cussing people who don't completly stop at stop signs and drive way over the white line so I doubt i'll get a chance to try that out. THE WHITE LINE IS FOR THE FRONT BUMPER, NOT 3 FEET PAST YOUR REAR BUMPER DAMNIT.
  17.   I haven't been pulled over in over 20 years, I just thought if I did get pulled over while the LEO was walking up to my vehicle I would roll the window down and stick my head out and yell real loud, I HAVE A GUN......I HAVE A GUN..........  That should let them know you are armed.  :)
  18.   Nothing "against the law" in this case. Being an idiot is not against the law.
  19.   I don't think anyone is saying they couldn't bring him in on probable cause, they should have got a judge to issue a warrant to check his paperwork then released him. Charging him with a crime was wrong.
  20.   Wouldn't the proper thing to do is, bring him in on suspicion of a crime, get a warrant to check his paperwork then release him after determining he violated no laws?
  21.   Explain something here, you said,   Then you said,   How does that work? If you don't have to show NFA paperwork the how is it a violation of state law?   Remember that a judge with a law degree ruled that Embody didn't violate any law.
  22.   If he didn't violate any law the he is INNOCENT.
  23.   I can't understand why some people are okay with government or police violating someones civil and Constitutional rights only because they don't like them or like their behavior. That is disrespect for the Constitution plain and simple. It's okay until their rights are violated in some way or the other. They can't be a champion of the Constitution and Bill Of Rights unless they defend everyones rights, not just a selected few.
  24.   I was just listening to Phil Valentine in my truck talking about this, he made a good point that Metro police should know what the laws are and Embody should have a civil case against metro for being arrested for a law he didn't violate. I still think Embody is a bozo but actually I hope he wins a suit against metro because they were in the wrong no matter what anyone thinks about Embody.
  25. He's free   He's free.... Oh well, Bozo had his charges dropped.   http://www.jrn.com/newschannel5/news/Charges-Dismissed-For-Gun-Rights-Advocate-273005971.html
