  1. Sad news, he was one of the best kickers in the NFL. He has the record for the most points/field goals in a game, I believe was 8 FG's for 26 Pt's. The Titans won the game with no TD's, it was all Bironas. He was a better kicker than Al Del Greco was, Bironas had more range and kept his accuracy unlike Automatic AL. AL started missing goals later in his carreer and everybody started calling him Semi-Automatic AL. A friend of mine said he thought Bironas was talking to Detroit so I guess he decided not to retire, he was still young enough to play, such a tragic loss.
  2. They may have him now, barricated in a house exchanging gunfire.   http://www.jrn.com/newschannel5/now-trending/Police-surround-Pennsylvania-shooting-suspect-shots-fired-275858281.html
  3. Here's a great commentary, pretty much says it all.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAmrWmYLko4
  4.   Don't ask, don't tell.
  5. Forget the pistol, get a Barrett M82. .50BMG
  6. Vermont and New Hampshire, question is, how would you get to them without traveling through a gun "unfriendly" state? I wouldn't feel comfortable going through New York with a firearm no matter what the law says. You could follow all the laws for transporting a gun and they will find a way to charge you with a violation if they don't like you. New Jersey? How about the North East then?
  7.   As with many laws to restrict speech and thought they are not affective. I know England doesn't have the denial law but France does and I do believe anti-semitism is on the rise again all over Europe. Sounds like it's much safer to be a Jew in America.   http://www.jpost.com/Diaspora/Study-40-percent-of-European-Jews-hide-their-Jewishness-375412
  8. It was the Polish who broke most of the German inigma code, when they were being invaded most all of their research were smuggled out to England, other research was destroyed. Some of the Polish code breakers were tortured by the SS but never revealed what their research was. Breaking the inigma code was definatly at the top of the list of important secret discoveries that won the war, if at least years earlier.   A Norwegian special forces unit was formed with the sole mission to destroy/disable the German heavy water plant, Germany's main ingredient in seperating uranium from ore for their atom bomb project. Japan had an atom bomb project and it is rumored, told by a witness that they actually tested a working device in the Pacific in 45 about the same time America dropped it's bombs. Japan had no way to deliver any device they might have made because of size, except in a submarine. Their plan was to detonate it in SanFrancisco Bay.
  9.   That's one gun on my wish list although it's not the most practical choice in a firearm unless you are a handgun hunter, or take alot of hikes in moose and griz country. I always like the Super Redhawk, it's one bad azz looking revolver and indestructable. :)
  10.   Maybe a better solution instead of restricting and outlawing offensive thought and speech would be to teach children at a young age just what really happened over there and how it ultimatly destroyed most all of Europe. Teach them about true evil and promoting evil like that will subject them to public ridicule and condemnation. Teach them that there are consequences for believing in and promoting nazi philosophy like never having an opportunity to gain decent employment because Nazi's are disgusting, ignorant, hateful humans condemend by society. Also they might want to teach them that if they someday convert to radical Islam and travel to a foriegn land to fight against their own country, their lives will be eliminated at the earliest possible moment.
  11.   Well it was a good thing that at least you were in Tennessee when that happened and not in some New England state. You would have probably gone to jail and booked and had a trial date to clear up the incident. I wish police depts. including college and other depts had to take and pass a test on gun laws. Seems like the other officer new their laws but the first needs to study and pass a test before confronting the public in a state where there are 1/2 million citizens with handgun carry permits. Now they need to be aware that every citizen who is not a felon or court ruled mentally ill can legally keep a loaded gun in their vehicle.
  12.   I would think that their intimate experience with a totalitarian regieme and dictator who restricted all individual freedoms, especially the freedom to express your opinions and views with the threat of prison or a concentration camp would motivate them not to pass such totalitarian laws. It's the same type freedom restriction law Heinrich Muller would have approved of for different reasons. Of course his punishment would have been a little more sever.
  13.   In America as of right now, it's your constitutional right to go around saying that you don't believe the holocaust ever happened, and it's everybody elses right to laugh and call you an idiot. I believe in Germany and Italy and maybe in a couple of other European countries you can be arrested and face 2 years in jail for simply "saying" you don't believe that the holocaust happened. It's kind of ironic that they would be so sensitive to their history of an evil totalitarian Reich that they would have totalitarian laws against dumb but non-threatening speech. The same restrictive speech laws just like they had in 1935 to 45. Now they treat you a little better than the Gestopo did but it's still a loss of freedom for simple speech. Of course many democrats in America would like to see the same type of restrictive speech laws under the name of "hate speech" weather it's threatening or not, a betrayal and dis-respect of our Constitution and Bill Of Rights.
  14. I would have to say the Barrett M82 because they talked about TN and Ronnie Barrett. And also it's a bad ass gun. I have seen every episode of Gun Stories, all the episodes are interesting even if you own the gun featured or not. I guess my 2nd. favorite was the AK-47 episode.
  15.   I wouldn't even trust that in NJ, and in some other states.  AG's are attorneys, but also government officials and politicians not to be trusted. I wouldn't trust anything a New Jersey government official sent me by email.
  16. But hey, here's some good news. Obviously it's not a big deal in New Jersey if your wife or girlfriend annoys you and you decide to punch her out like some punk thug, just don't be a law abiding mom who made a "DUMB" but honest mistake and bring a gun into the state.   http://www.inquisitr.com/1471690/prosecutor-who-let-ray-rice-off-the-hook-demands-jail-time-for-single-mom-licensed-gun-owner/
  17.   Yea, I would probably go to jail there. Someone dis-respects me unjustly i'll return the dis-respect no matter who it is.
  18.   I've been to Yellowstone, only in that little sliver of Montana but mostly Wyoming. Beautiful part of the country, I would love it up there until about mid December to mid March. You could definatly lay low up there it seems.
  19. Does your vehicle have a TN plate and maybe a NRA decal or some gun related sticker? I just have a feeling if it does you might as well put a big sign on it that says, "PULL ME OVER PLEASE?" AND,,, if you actually had any sort of firearm in any sort of storage in the vehicle N.J. cops would treat it like a big celebration party with you face down on the ground and handcuffed. That would "MAKE THEIR DAY".
  20. I'm not calling the accuser a liar but if there's no witnesses and it's his word against Zimmermans it just hearsay. If Zimmerman is acting like that it wont be long before he's jailed or someone shoots him. I wouldn't be shocked if some black vigilante doesn't get him some day, if he was smart he would get the hell out of Florida and move to Montana or somewhere with a low black population.
  21.   maybe they're afraid someone will shoot the cook.  :)
  22. I lost any desire to eat at WH when I was doing service work in HVAC and had a few WH restaurants to service their rooftop HVAC units. I couldn't believe you could make a cheapo featherlight air filter and make it weigh 2+pounds with food grease in just 2 weeks. Nevermind cleaning that crap out of the evaporator.
  23.   That's pretty bad ass, he's got a few little fine adjustments to make it seems after a couple of stopages but they can be worked out on a belt fed.
  24.   I believe her, I assume that she thought in her case it was a one time thing and although it was disgusting and criminal it didn't go as far as the other victims so she buried the memory because she does love her dad. I can also assume she feels a little guilty about her sister after hearing that he kept doing this to her and going alot farther and more often, I guess she hoped at best he wouldn't do anything like that anymore after what he did to her.
