There was only one time I couldn't get out and on the road because of a winter storm in Middle Tennessee and that was because there was a big tree fallen over my driveway, 1994 ice storm. I have never rushed out to the store because of a little snow threat, I throw a big slab rock I have in the back of my rear wheel drive truck and truck along if I really need something later.

Shopper tackles man with gun at Wal-Mart
K191145 replied to Ugly's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
That's why I wrote the letter to Walmart. I know they aren't to blame for the man getting tackled but it would be a message to the community that they will not tolerate that kind of vigilantism if they conveyed their regret to the victim that had a tramatic experience in their store. -

I've heard/read something about a group planning or advocating that but don't remember a name, I would like to know who they are. -
I see it all the time. HEY, look at me on the beach in Florida, there's nobody at my house, my friend feeds my dog at 2pm so come after that and take everything you can, BTW, I don't have a friends only privacy setting on Facebook so everyone can read my wall and know everything I do.

Legal for Me to Carry on the Property of a Felon?
K191145 replied to luvmyberetta's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
A guy I worked with and kinda a friend had some drug abuse problems, wrote some fake prescriptions and such but has a felony record, I even bought one of his guns from his dad to help him with money. I would never leave out a prescription if he was over my house, it would be like leaving a bottle of good whiskey out in front of an alcoholic but I would trust him not to steal any of my belongings. Now there's some felons like the one you are talking about I wouldn't want to even be near, real scum who hurts others without conscience. If he's capable of those crimes and rape, he's also capable of murder. I believe I would wear my gun to their house, I wouldn't trust that scumbag for nothing, at least you would be perfectly legal to do so. -
Legal for Me to Carry on the Property of a Felon?
K191145 replied to luvmyberetta's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I guess different states have different laws but I really believe that in Tennessee a felon can't live in a home if there's a gun INSIDE the home. I may be confused about what my neices boyfriend was charged with then. -
Legal for Me to Carry on the Property of a Felon?
K191145 replied to luvmyberetta's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I don't believe felons can live in a home where a firearm is stored, even if the owner is legal to own a firearm. My neices boyfriend was charged on a gun possession by living at his moms home, it was perfectly legal for her to own one but he wasn't supposed to reside in a house where a firearm was stored. His mom wasn't charged for anything but the drugs he had in his car, squeeled on by what he thought was his friend got the house searched where they discovered her gun. So the way it sounds, a non-felon will not be charged but the felon can be charged. -

Well I would hope he gets some fame in a Florida county jail for a little while but he probably wont. If he's convicted of a FELONY charge I would love to be the judge to tell him, Oh by the way, you can never legally own or possess a firearm, you have forfieted that right by your criminal actions. -

A doubt if Walmart will ever post their stores, I really believe they know how much business they would loose and corperate CEO's don not want to loose revenue. We let too much crap go, the "Oh Well" attitude. A polite letter is a fairly tame way to fight back. -

This. It would be a message to the public that Walmart will not tolerate or condone criminal attacks in their stores and they should be able to charge the attacker for comitting a criminal assualt on their property. -

What about a letter like this? P.S. I can't find who to email at Walmart, it's like they don't want to to email them. -

Apparently Walmart and companies do not want you to email corporate headquarters but I found a link for ethics concerns at Walmart. https://walmartethics.com/ReportAConcern.aspx -

That video wont load for me for some reason but I have seen it on youtube. I can somewhat understand someone taking charge of the gun during the attack until they knew what was going on but Walmart needs to make it right for the victim now, apologize for what is definatly a tramatic experience for him and offer a decent peace offering. If it were my store, I would offer him a free rifle or shotgun of his choice as an apology for his experience, AND also to send a message and to spite and really piss off these freedom hating Bloomberg loving liberal leftest anti-gun terrorists. I believe, and maybe Oh Shoot might know that Walmart can also bring charges against the attacker also, what i'm not sure but they should be able to bring charges for something. We should start a email writing campaign to Walmart, I know i can't use the language in a letter to Walmart corperate HQ like I used here, mainly the name calling but we are all friends here and i'm just conveying how pissed off I am about this. Walmart needs to know THEY need to take a stand against this kind of criminal idiocy. -
That's good news Bersaguy, that's definatly better than being opened up. Keep us informed on how you are doing.

That idiot would have gotten the crap kicked out of him by half of Walmart if he did that at the Dickson Walmart. -

Let's hope it's a felony assualt charge and he's convicted. If some liberal jurors don't convict him then we all need to go to Florida, stand in the middle of the interstate and make up some chant and demand hot coffee from the police. -
Handgun Permits - County by County

Nashville more and more is being infested with liberals and progressives, it's the "IT" city according to many. Many more condo's and apartment buildings are in the plans to bring more of them to Nashville. -

That mainiac brought that on himself 100% My front door is definatly solid, I know, I installed the heavy bastid myself. Someone can breech it but it will take some work. -
There's alot of people, even some gun owners who will argue that the "odds" of a home invasion is pretty low, that also depends where you live. The thing is is that there is a possibility period and even so-called safer neighborhoods have home invasions these days. As long as there's a possibility which seems to be increasing these days those people will just have to call me paranoid, who knows, my paranoia may just save my life someday.

I don't carry inside anything "federal", don't want the hassle of getting made in a federal building. Just have a feeling the feds would be more than happy to charge you.
