1. That's the proper prescription for a worthless thug.
2. Dickson is probably a little futher than you would want to drive but my recomendation is Carl's Transmission. Back in the summer they replaced my clutch and also did a front brake job/wheel bearings, I provided rotors and bearings, and replaced all 4 shocks in my Nissan truck for right around $900. They did a great job (no problems), and were alot less expensive than some others. They have been in business since I can remember. They are on HWY 70 on the east side of Dickson.
3.   I flew in a heavy snow storm before in October in Eagleville TN. in a Cessna 182. Of course it was snowing at 10,000ft, melting into a cold drizzle at about 7,000 ft. because it was about 60ish on the ground. I know this because I jumped out of the Cessna in the snow storm.  :)
4.   My nefew would be jealous, he's a paramedic and would love a steady flying gig. He's a Franklin fire fighter now, he did have a second job where he flew with patients, only a few times when he was a Cheatham Co. paramedic then he got on with the Franklin Fire Dept. after many months of their training. When he's home in Kingston Springs he still goes on calls with the Kingston Springs Volunteer Fire Dept.
5.   I know people who will never clean or lube a pistol, or run a brush and patch through the barrel and think it's properly cleaned. My brother has a habit of that. Many moons ago he had a cheapo Davis .380, he said he's lucky to get 2 rounds to fire before it malfunctioned. Well I cycled the slide, sounded worse than an old screen door and hard to cycle, not to mention the carbon dust that came out of it. Well I searched on the net at that time and found out how to remove the slide and it was just dry and nasty as i've ever seen a neglected gun. I blasted it with gun scrubber, I scrubbed it with Rem oil, tooth brush, dental pic and a couple of other tools, wiped it all down with rag, Q-tips, patches and lubed every friction area with Outers oil, all the supplies he had in his cleaning kit. I reasembled it and the difference was dramatic. We fired about 6 mags of ball .380 through it without a single malfunction so it's very possible to make even a cheapo run reliable with proper maintenance. I told him since we ran almost a box of ammo through it he needed to clean it again, he said he would "do it later", yea right.
6. I have turned "IT" down before, that's because I knew she wouldn't take a check.   HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...   :)     JK.
7. Just been cleaning off my driveway this morning in Kingston Springs. Still have a little more snow to clean off.
8.   They have gone up a little, about 15 years ago I bought a RG .22 SA, it came with a well made left handed cowboy holster and belt all for $20 at a yard sale. The pistol is actually pretty beefy compared to other RG's and shoots just fine, I just have to use a piece of coat hanger for an ejector though since the original was gone.
9. Maybe he wants more funds but he is right in what he said.     From the article:   The woman is naive to even think that police will always protect you from a violent attack, they will however take photo's of your body when they get their. She needs to go out any buy a gun and learn how to use it properly if she's scared that police can't always protect you, "YOU" are the first line of defense.
10.   A little steel wool work and that ammo is as good as new. :)
11. I checked online how to remove the tube completly from the reciever, it would be very difficule for the average person to do. It seems that they are silver sauldered into the reciever and should be done at the factory which might cost close to a new reciever to do. Anyway, if it was easier, screw in, I would think they would make a whole mag tube for 7 or 8 rounds instead of an extention. So I would advise anyone wanting to grind or mold out the dimples to be careful not to damage the tube.
12. I can imagine an EMP's effect on newer vehicles with alot of fragile electronics and circuit boards. Probably all the working vehicles would be 1970's models, all the po hillbillys would still be chugging along.
13. What was worse is that I was bragging about my new mag extion that I paid less the $20 for. Had about the same thing happen once with a cheap $4 surplus 1911 mag, the floor plate detached after the first shot and dumped all my rounds out the bottom, that would be a major bummer in a gun fight. Lesson learned, don't go too cheap.
14. Funny story, when I first installed that cheapo extention I bought I took it behind the shop where I worked at the time to test it, I didn't have a barrell clamp then. A friend was with me and the first shot the extention tube detached from the bushing so I saw the spring fly out, I lowered the shotgun wondering what that was all about and my remaining loads dumped out on the ground. My friend had to sit on the ground because he was laughing so hard. Anyway, I actually sauldered the tube to the bushing and bought a barrell clamp. It worked for a while but I started having hangups and loads would not advance through the tube. I just took it off and setteled with 4 loads instead of seven. Maybe some day I will buy a decent one.
15.   I've heard of people drilling them out if you don't mind two holes in the tube, of course there's a potential for rusting issues I guess.
16. Well thanks, I feel like a dummy now. Since you posted the reason I now remember having to turn the retainer to get it out of the tube. Since I ground down the dimples it just pops out now so I forgot about that. :)
17. Surgery is a shock to your whole system, hopefully that's all it is and your body will normalize after a while. I hope the doc can make you feel better soon, let us know how your doing.
18. Does anyone know why Remington put those dimples in the mag tube of some of the Express 870s? Been wondering that. I wonder if it was because of some state laws that may forbid extentions on shotguns, anyway, it seems like a usless thing to do.
19. Bought my 870 Express in the early 90's, works great except for a mag extention I bought for it. I had to gring out those dimples in the mag tube, don't know why they put them there but the long spring for the extention will hang up after cycling a couple of shells. It was a cheapo 7-round extention, cheapo probably being the problem because the dimples are smoothed out completly. No problems with the original spring and no extention though.
20. Road kill  :)
21. Sounds like a pretty awesome shot to me. It does appear that you have a issue with high fructose corn syurp, ester gum and brominated vegtable oil though.
22. He was soo fat he put on a pair of BVD's and it spelled Boulevard.
23.   Most wont because it's not about truth and facts, many will simply refuse to admit that it is Islam that is still acting like they did 1000 years ago and not everyone else. That's why they have to go back 1000 years to find some argument to attempt to defend their position, then I have heard some of them try to compare one single person who comitted a terrorist attack,(McVeigh) to the thousands of attacks that happen every year in the name of Islam. It doesn't matter to them to remind them that America convicted and executed McVeigh they will still try to make a comparison. I really believe that these liberal-progressive radicals hate us much more than they hate the real enemy, 10th century Islamists. They are always trying to make some excuse for them, and that's exactly what it is, an excuse for acting the way they do, they sympathize with evil jihadist murderers because they hate conservative thinking traditional,(real) Americans. We are in a cold civil war of ideoligies in America between the socialists, (liberal-progressives), and traditional Americans who still believe that America is the greatest country. We are not going to give the enemy a real fight until the socialist liberal progressive who can't admit that radical Islam is the real enemy is out of the WH in 2016.
24.   Glad your cousin called you before he got ripped off. I hope the seller was just stupid and really thought the Mosin was that valuable, and later informed of it's real value so he would ask for a realistic price. If he new the value and still tried to take advantage of someone like that then he's no more than a common thief in my book.
25. Two men are swimming in the middle of the ocean near Austraila after capsizing their boat, there's 10 great white shark fins circling them. One man says to the other, well, i'm about to prove my dad wrong. The other man says, how's that? First man says, he said I would never amount to Sh!t.
