No, they are not going to win, if they were they would already have. The opposition is getting stronger, just think about laws 20 years ago compared to today, they have been spouting gun control since I can remember, they can pass laws in a few states but others pass pro laws more and more. I doubt if they can get anything federal passed, the dictator has to try to by executive order and his drones at a certain federal agency tries to ban certain ammo but passing laws doesn't make it today.

How many criminals with bad intentions carry their gun in a holster on their hip?
-
I always carry concealed/semi-concealed but if everybody, the 1/2 million permit holders in Tennessee alone agreed, start carrying openly. 1 million in Florida, 1/2 million or more in Texas and so on and so on. EVERYBODY open carry.

Well then I guess it's time to remove any statues or any honors to "ROBERT BYRD" former leader and grand wizard of the KKK. We need to petition that to the PC liberals. How would that go over?

How a Gun in a Purse Became a Permanent Ball and Chain
K191145 replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There's nothing in New York I have any desire to see, there's plenty of more scenic states out west to visit and people actually care about the Constitution, but not too far west in the land of transgender unicorns and organic lollipops. -
Ask an anti to count to 1 million, then after they finish that tell them to do that 350 more times, then remind them that that's how many guns are in circulation in the Unites States and no amount of gun control laws will put a fraction of a percent of a micro dent in the gun violence in the Unites States because it's a logistic impossibility to keep a bad person from obtaining a gun. They get them in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Canada and even France when they really want one. Also as is the case in New York with their failing Safe Act, many, including myself will simply refuse to obey some useless federal gun ban or registration, i've personally had enough of their socialist crap. Keep pushing it and I will do what I have to to save some money and go out and buy me a decent AR and 5 or 10 30-round magazines and 2000 rounds of ammo just to spite them.

This.

So all this is before anyone knows where he got the handgun, if he bought it and passed a background check, if anyone reported his past behavior to police and so on. I can see her dad being all upset and devastated but Hillary and the left will exploit this with hopes of getting a lot of media attention, which they will since it was media people who were murdered. I wouldn't be surprised if some anti-gun group is exploiting her dads emotions right now, egging him on for their own agenda. The left is a bunch of slim balls that will do that.

They talk about better ways to recognize mentally unstable people with a lot of hate in their minds, just log into twitter, read Youtube comments ect. There's probably about 20 million unstable brains out there, good luck. Twitter is just a safe way for trolls and loosers to spew garbage without consequence. The vast majority don't have the courage to say half the stuff they say face to face with someone.

It's very possible though, you never know where they may pop up.

That letter I got this morning in the mail that said I have been selected for a once in a lifetime offer.

We are out of luck, they are not going to swim the Mississippi River to go west.

I heard that a quake today like the ones in 1811 and 12 would cause billions of dollars of improvements to Memphis and St. Louis. HAAAAAA. now i'm going to feel guilty if the big one hits soon for making that joke.
-
Anytime from now to 50 years from now they are predicting one that will rival the one's in 1811 and 1812 that will put those sissy California quakes to shame. In a 2 month time from Dec. 1811 and Jan. 1812 there were 3 that were estimated to be close to 8.0

Motown residents answer police chief's call to arms
K191145 replied to Pete123's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
This is my answer to anyone wanting or demanding I register my guns. I was PC and censored the pic so no one will know what he's holding up. :) -
I don't buy into the notion that just because it's a violent movie it will make someone come in the theater and shoot you. If that were the case I would go to a lot of lesbian porn movies. HAAAAAA.

Discussion Of Possible Gun Legislation, Parks Again

It's hard to find a strange case like him, one who actually enjoys and gets off on legal hassle and spending money on lawyers. -

Where's Kwiknru when you need him? :) -
I think I have my trigger control pretty decent but I do need to work on my sight picture, I dry fire all the time at the house but need to get back to the range and shoot. I can keep them all in a paper plate at 25 yards(handgun), okay for defensive shooting but I need to tighten my groups. BTW, enjoyed the video. Alot of these youtube firearms videos are very informative for new and older shooters.

I wont be offended if you tell me this is a dumb idea or not. Back in basic in the early 80's before we went to the range we were made to dry fire our M16-A1's while balancing a big metal washer on the barrell, the trick was to hold the weapon steady and learn to pull the trigger without dropping the washer. The idea was to practice enough to where it becomes natural without thinking about it. I saw a video where this guy instructed concentrating on the front site of your handgun, he suggested if you have white 3 dot sights to take a fine line Sharpie and make a black line or mark on the big white dot of the front sight, just a little "trick" to help and it seems to help a little. Just a practice trick until it becomes natural. What if someone who has a bad habit of engaging the trigger with the bend of their finger wraps some tape just at the bend so they will notice and feel where their finger placement is? Just for dry fire and some range practice until it comes natural to keep proper finger placement, a finger stop so to speak. It's natural to me now to keep the pad of my finger on the trigger but like your video shows it's not natural to some shooters, as a matter of fact it feels natural to engage the trigger with the knuckle bend at first, it takes practice to change that habit. I just tell them there are already regulations on buying and selling them. First you fill out a form 4473 and the dealer runs a background check, and if it shows you have a felony or were involuntarily committed to a mental hospital you aren't allowed to own one. Or, you can be arrested if you sell or give a firearm to someone you know has a felony record or has been involuntarily committed to a mental hospital. Seems that quite a few people don't know that.

Pretty smart, if he were chased by the cops he could just drop the box of doughnuts. :) Unfortunately, only the purse can be used as evidence since the box of doughnuts mysteriously disappeared. Okay i'll stop.

Discussion Of Possible Gun Legislation, Parks Again
K191145 replied to runco's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There's very little chance that i'll go to any event at one of these parks, it's just not my thing usually but if I ever do i'll be wearing my gun. As far as i'm concerned, the State law and AG's opinion says I can. Now i'm not going to boast or brag about it and I don't open carry but cities can't make up their own rules that conflict with state law.
