No, but it doesn't take much training to kill people who will not at least try to fight back some way, frozen in fear, the jihadist lost badly when they finally fought armed police. Classic example of the "un-successful" jihadist who chose the wrong train with 3 American military men on it. Now there's a lot of bad ass French military men but the general public are easy targets, not just France either.

Everyone is on alert and expecting NYC or DC, maybe Boston but a major attack in a city with lower security would be a surprise and probably rattle everyone more so. Hell, it can even happen in Chattanooga TN.

Great CCW gun, shoot bad guy and get the one behind him also. Also in case some angry moose charges you, you are covered for just about everything. :) Many moons ago I had a Raging Bull in .454, there's definatly a shock wave that travels up your arm through your elbow. I always thought I wouldn't want to shoot it like I would any other handgun, or at least as much because some day I would develope some kind of itis in my wrist and elbow, Magnumitis.

He can be pretty funny at times too.

I know some don't like The Yankee Marshal but he's spot on in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpiYQQiAilg

He wont do anything unless he's pushed politically to do it, "asking" gives him the chickensh!t way out, make him seem to some like he actually did something.

Asking?? For a second I thought he might have looked down his pants this morning and saw a pair but I guess not.

I know that's the main problem, young Muslims who are citizens of the country they live in are being recruited to ISIS more and more, something in these times are attracting them to it, I don't really see how to stop it either. I certainly don't want more posing as poor refugees, they may combat hardened fighters as far as we know with far more training and skills than new citizen recruits, more lethal. Not allowing non-citizen Muslims into the country doesn't infringe upon any ones Constitutional rights but we have to be careful how we handle the Muslims who are citizens. I'm not sure how much it may violate the Constitution by planting moles/spies in Mosques around the country, the feds probably already have a few in some Mosques. As far as social media goes, what do they have to say online to warrant a further look? The only thing you and I can do as a citizen is keep our gun on our hip.

I know France and Europe has a large Islamic population but adding more refugees is asking for it, I have no doubt there are Jihadists posing as poor pitiful Syrian refugees to get a free trip into a western country, they would love to get to America. I call them jihadists because it doesn't matter if they are ISIS or Al Queda or whoever, they are all the same. Well if they do happen to wear body armor, go for the critical areas.

Concerts me and my best friend have been to at the Municipal Auditorium in the late 70's. Iron Maiden Rush Ted Nugent Black Sabbath Nazareth Lynyrd Skynyrd Molly Hatchet Kiss Volunteer Jam 3,4 Plus a few more, he would get the tickets and I had the car, an AMC Gremlin, a beat up old Gremlin which looked less goofy than a new shiny one. I am into retro country now.

Head, neck, inner thigh and crotch shots.

Obama is going to have a hard time bringing Syrian terrorists into the country now, no doubt the idiot will try though.

Took just one armed man to take out the 2 jihadists in Texas at the Muhammad cartoon contest, if he hadn't been there, done that then they would have chosen a different target with tragic results but instead, 2 negative value life forms were eradicated instead of good people murdered. I truly believe in all the active shootings that has happened, if an armed person would have been close there would be a lot less good people murdered. It's a far better chance to stop one than everyone unarmed such as the case.

Not too far away. :) I'm almost there now.

I would like to know more but it does sound like the lady was a little too quick to draw and usually thugs with records, with bad intentions don't call the cops after they are confronted and leave the scene. Maybe the assault charge was a little harsh but she needs some education when to 'threaten" someone with deadly force. If she's that terrified she needs to go somewhere else, it also sound like from the article that there were other people in the lot, while it's no guarantee, there is safety in numbers when the lone thug is concerned, not for the mass shooter though. There was a time I allowed my handgun to be intentionally seen, thinking about the law about drawing on someone but I had good suspicion of the person but no real proof he was up to no good or at least thinking about it. Many years ago when I first got my HCP I was doing a service call on a condensing unit behind a liquor store on 8th Ave. just before it turns into Franklin Ave. There is a 7" chain link fence around the back of the building but the big gate was open and I had my work van with high dollar tools and equipment in it, all by myself starting to get dark behind a liquor store on south 8th Ave. This rough looking guy kept walking back and forth from the side of the building up the alley and back, did that 2 times looking and slowing down at me and my work van. The second time I "HAD" to get something out of my front pocket so I "HAD" to lift my shirt up to get it, doing that plainly showed my handgun, which at the time was a bright stainless Rossi 971 .357 magnum with a 4" barrel in a cheapo leather holster on my hip, I also let him know I was aware of him as I stared back as he walked up the street again. Anyway, I hurried up and replaced a capacitor which is fast and easy and got out of there. Maybe he just wanted to bum some money, I don't know but I wasn't going to take chances on him or wait around for him to get some of his friends. I don't miss service work at all.

There's a man with real principals and guts, we all can learn something from him, if push comes to shove in America, it's time to take a real stand and not cower from government threats. It's funny how hypocritical governments and leaders will allow votes and pass laws that violate federal law like legalizing pot or refuse to work with ICE making their city a sanctuary city for illegals, even the President ignores and encourages violating laws and then the same people expect the peasants to obey, "ILLEGAL" laws they pass. Well, "THEY" can go fonicate with themselves as far as i'm concerned. MOLON LABE.....

That's pretty cool, either they chrome plated it or it will have to have constant maintenance for rust or keep it dry all the time.

Congratulations.

Here you go, I know I can do a prettier job if I had was a little more patient. That's been a fault of mine. Now in no way does the handle look like a ball peen hammer now.

Well, I found an old metal broom handle, it's pretty tough, Then you can see what I used for a handle. I shaped and forced 6" of hammer handle down the tube, the rest of the tube I forced schedual 40 1/2" PVC for extra strength and bolted both in. I'm going to get some skinnier bolts and nuts and wrap the whole cane in leather, handle and tube. May be a little obvious what the cane is intended for. :)

Warning shot fired after road rage incident

All we can do is form our opinion on what we have heard or read so far, until there's another side to this story I have to say the guy (potential victim), did a good thing by giving the rager a chance to live and sober up to contemplate what "almost" happened, like he be dead instead of alive. Popping a handgun round in the ground? Unless you hit an angled piece of granite it's not really going anywhere. The Rager ought to thank him later on for sparing his life, at least his momma should thank him. -

You mean a "liberal"? Well even a liberal DA would have time arguing against the "BIDEN DEFENSE", But Joe told me to fire a warning shot. Now the liberal DA may argue that you are only allowed to do that with a double barrel shotgun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIuk3G9Xixc -
Warning shot fired after road rage incident
K191145 replied to Hershmeister's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I wasn't there either but if the dude prevented a death by firing that shot, motivating the raging dude to change his plans it was the right thing to do in that situation, in my book, maybe not the laws book.
