I've seen that photo, it baffles me that it seems like the barrel and slide are still intact and closed, almost is if a freakish accidental discharge of a round in the magizine. I know that's highly unlikely but nothings impossible. Anybody know what happened to it?

I had a squib with an M-60 in the Army and sure enough I did exactly what we were drilled NOT to do. I opened the feed tray and cover and pulled the bolt back immediatly. When I saw the bottom of the casing still in the chamber I thought O-$&@&, then a big POOFT and a face full of smoke. Fortunatly the casing hit the bolt and flew over my shoulder and only my squad member feeding the belt saw me do that.

The only correction I will add to that is, Glocks don't do that.

It would make a great campaign commercial for his opponent in the election. Just repeat the assualt about 4 times and at the end his opponent comes on and says, Hi, I'm Joe Shmo, I'm running for Congress and I'm not a criminal thug. -

The student should have punched the arrogant POS out. -
Dems are getting a little touchy now. I doubt there will be any criminal charges. An elite superior assualting a common peasant?

Even if it was improper, if they decided to get law enforcement involved it would be a big hassle. If they want to be bigots and don't want my business, then I don't want to give them my business.

If a candidate doesn't respect the 2nd Amendment, then they don't respect the Constitution and Bill Of Rights as a whole. I can't vote for someone like that no more than I could vote for someone who advocates restricting free speech or privacy.

Wont work on the M-44's?

Don't sugercoat it, tell us what you really think of him. I feel the same way about Nafieh and a few others, Pelosie, Bloomberg, and now Haslam etc. I have the utmost disdain for some of them. Since the TN Health Freedom Act passed, I suspect a few on the floor reminded him how easy it will be soon to replace him as speaker. Let's hope they do it anyway.

Haslam was a card carrying member of gun control organization headed by NYC Mayor Bloomberg and CEO Chicago Mayor Daley. MAIG's blames Tennessee,(specificly) and other pro-freedom states for crimes commited in NYC and Chicago etc. It's a matter of Principal for me, there is no way in hell that I will vote for Haslam. I wont vote for the Dem either but at least they were not a member of an organization that wants to take your guns away. Haslam doesn't believe you have the right to own guns. I will vote for Ramsey in the primary, either him or Wamp in the general, but will write in maybe Phillip Johnson if it's between Haslam or Son of Ned. Maybe i'll make up my own candidate. Beauford Howitzer, conservative libratarian for Governor. -
Dang, you mean when I ate at Ruby Tuesday's last night I could have carried inside? Oh wait, i'm in Alabama this weekend. Actually, I don't know what the Alabama restaurant carry laws are. Had a Ribeye, baked tater, and a Coca Cola. I'll have to check the Brady website and see if TN is still a "D" grade or if we made it to a "F" yet. The day we bring home that "F" will be the proudest day for Tennessee.

When will Wamp or Ramsey tell the truth?

If it's between Hasbeen(wishful thinking) and Son of Ned, i'll write sombody in and hope the legislator's are in an overriding mood. -

It's real convienient that he decided in 09 to quit Bloombergs MAIG's and join the NRA, most likely when he decided to run for Governor of TN. He will claim he didn't know MAIG's was a gun control/anti-2nd Amendment organization even though it is headed by NEW YORK CITY MAYOR BLOOMBERG who blames Tennessee and other pro-Bill Of Rights States for crime in NYC. So if he REALLY didn't know it was an anti-gun organization then he's too much of a STUPID IDIOT MORON to be Governor. There is no way in hell I will vote for Haslam, I will write in a candidate if he's the GOP choice. He will be no different than McWerter, probably worse. -

Bill Haslam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia There's no better proof he's anti-gun, just as bad as being a member of the Brady Campaign. -
About Haslam, about his involment in a GUN CONTROL organization? I'm sick of that Haslam commercial where the dude says he's strong on the 2nd Amendment. Yes, he's strong on weakening the 2nd Amendment. I wonder why, or when either Wamp or Ramsey will run a commercial telling the truth about Haslam.

WSMV's past polls have failed to produce the results they wanted so notice the wording of their poll,"Should guns be allowed in areas where alcohol is served?" It should be obvious to anyone they are trying to manipulate peoples opinion. A good poll should have 3 options and read, Should citizens with a handgun carry permit be allowed to carry in restaurants and other places that serve alcohol as long as they are forbidden by law to consume alcohol while armed? Yes: No: Not concerned: Not concerned would actually be a positive vote and probably reflects the opinion of most people who do not carry.

WSMV has a poll/survey on their site way at the bottom of the page. So far it's 50/50. Nashville News, Tennessee News and Local Weather from WSMV 4 News

+++1 Yep, he will be old news come January, not soon enough for me. Also we don't have to see Serpass's face anymore. I always imagined him with a ventriliquist dummy mouth with Bredesen or Dean's hand up his rear making him say what they want him to. So now we need to educate our hunter/sportsman friends about gun control advocate Haslam so we can elect either Ramsey or Wamp in November and forget the big Bredesen mistake.

About 12 miles. It's hard to get closer for the general public, even boats have to stay 12 miles away I hear. It wasn't loud where I was but it a constant rumbling like thunder that doesn't stop. TV and video doesn't do it justice, the rocket burn is very bright and brilliant even for 12 miles, almost hard to look at. You get a little adrenilin rush watching it. Titusville is the best viewing area where you can see the whole launch from the pad up, Cocoa Beach where I stayed, you can only see it after a few seconds so we went to Titusville and lucked out on a good spot. It was very crowded there.

My little camera has no audio but does an okay job. This was in Titusville Friday.

Haslam was a member of Bloombergs "Mayors Against Illegal Guns", a gun control organization. He can't pretend he didn't know the groups agenda so that tells me that he favors gun control. No amount of back peddeling and spinning from him can change that fact. If he wins the primary, I will write in a candidate of my choice just to say I voted even if they have no chance of winning.

Sorry about your house, I hope you get back to a comfortable living situation soon.
